Property is clean with TV's and bathrooms, even 2 vending machines and change machines, but would be nice if they had an ATM or a change machine that took credit/debit. Again, Helen is a real help there, super friendly as well, and the rest of the staff is great too. Parking lot is a disaster some days, lines aren't clearly painted and people generally can't drive well in the USA. Best there is in the SOMA area, which is kind of sad, but then again most homes have washer dryers here too.

The washer I used had a screen that didn't light up with numbers like the rest did and I almost thought it was out of order but it still worked. Some of the dryers had damaged display screens which were unsightly tbh. The beverage vending machine had reasonably priced drinks in it like 1$ water bottles but I didn't buy any since I wasn't thirsty at the moment but it's nice to know they're cheap. Also cool how it takes debit cards as well as cash. Staff is helpful and nice. Overall it's a good laundromat that I recommend trying.

Of these items, there was a two- piece dress with jacket that was purchased by my late husband. The jacket was trimmed in what appeared to be black leather but turned out to be plastic. Over the years, the plastic became fragile. I happened to wear the dress while working as a background actor and noticed the peeling of plastic. When I dropped off my clothes, it was explained to me that they could not repair the jacket. They suggested that I take it to an establishment who specializes in handling such repairs. When I picked up my laundry, I left it on my valet. I did not want to deal with the jacket. Almost two months have passed since I touched my laundered clothes. Today, I decided to put the clothes into my closet, and I was SHOCKED! I cried! Choi's Valley Cleaners had removed ALL of the plastic from around the collar running down the front of the jacket, the pockets and the sleeves with black fabric. They never said anything to me when I picked up my laundry. Rather, they pulled all my clothing together and I paid. The person who helped me smiled and said have a nice day. Choi's Valley Cleaners went beyond customer service. I will be grateful to them the rest of my life. They understood how important the dress was to me and went out of their way to preserve it. Extremely disappointing experience with Rinse, both in terms of the damage to my clothing and the…read morecustomer service afterward. I chose Rinse because it positions itself as a premium laundry service and I was willing to pay more for careful, professional handling. I even selected the hang-dry option specifically because it was supposed to provide additional protection for my clothes. Despite that, multiple garments were returned damaged, including pulled and missing threads, snagging, permanent bubbling and distortion of the fabric, excessive creasing, and even what appeared to be pet/dog hairs on some items. Several of the affected garments cost over $100 each and now have permanent damage. This was well beyond the minor wear and tear that can occasionally happen during cleaning. Virtually every item also came back heavily creased and needed additional ironing before it could be worn. What made the experience considerably worse was the customer service afterward. I contacted Rinse directly first because I wanted to give them the opportunity to investigate what happened before posting anything publicly. Unfortunately, despite explaining the extent of the damage and raising the issue with them, I did not receive a meaningful response or resolution. Mistakes can happen with any laundry service, but I would expect a premium company to take concerns about damaged clothing seriously and respond appropriately when a customer raises them. The pickup and delivery team were excellent, so my criticism is specifically about the cleaning process and the way the issue was handled afterward. I had expected a much higher standard given Rinse's pricing and reputation, particularly after paying for hang drying to help protect the garments. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone sending valuable or delicate clothing to Rinse and would recommend considering other options if careful garment handling is important to you.
