My large dog recently started getting reactive to having his feet touched, I brought him here for a quick nail trim. I'm extremely pleased with Maggie's patience with him, as she made sure he was as comfortable as possible the entire time. By the end of it she was able to make another lap around the paws without much reaction at all. This is a great shop with great employees who did especially well with my large breed dog! Do I recommend this place, I do and I don't. Overall they are nice people. However there groomers must have a high turn over rate. I had an incident where a young groomer shave my golden retrievers tail. You never ever do that. But for the most part they are cordial, caring about the animals and do a good job. I just don't feel comfortable not know who the groomer is and I don't want this to ever happen again. read more

Did not realize this place is a full service groomer in addition to having stations to bathe your dog yourself. Very glad I know now as they did a great job on my yorkie. They did as I asked and really seemed to know what they are doing. My dog was not traumatized when she came out either. The groomers were all very sweet to my little girl. First-time customer. Glad I read the reviews, because I knew to bring my own dog shampoo. With that, I give five stars. I found the staff to be welcoming and helpful, as I had not been to a DIY dog wash before. There are several 'cubicles' (for lack of a better word) which are roomy, clean, and stocked with most everything one could need for washing long- or short-haired dogs. The water is set at a tepid temperature. There's a ramp so your dog can walk right up into the basin. I agree the provided shampoo is thin/watered down but I can understand that knowing how fast my own teenagers can drain my bottles of salon products at home! So the solution was, bring my own. Ample towels are provided to dry your pup. Aprons in two lengths readily available to keep you dry. A rubber mat on the floor for safety, and I wore rain booties for practicality. The blow dryer only blows cool air, which surprised me, but the cashier said it was only meant to "blow the water off the dog." A pleasantly scented spray is provided for that 'professionally groomed' finish! Price is set by weight so, for my 30-lb cattle dog it was $16. Not bad, and my back didn't ache afterward-- nor did I have to clean my bathroom! No appointment was needed. I recommend this business for friendliness and convenience! read more

Don't go to this place with the expectation of getting what you paid for or for them to do as you requested. I'll start by saying they did a good job on my goldendoodle the first two visits and which lead us to believe we had found the right groomer. We were sadly mistaken. The third visit in less than three months. (We take care or our animals) We requested just a basic trim and tighty plus bath. What we received was a shaved dog. And told oh well this is what you wanted and this is what you got deal with it and pay us. The owner as ZERO people skills and should hire someone to speak on her behalf. She is rude and unapologetic. NEVER EVER GOING BACK AND WOULDN'T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! read more

Very sweet people, they did a great job grooming my lab and very easy to get into, great haircut with deshed treatment, got her in the same day I called, but I took my golden doodle here a couple of months ago and they shaved her Fanny area down too much and it left razor burn. read more

This place was so cute inside and the lady who greets you is nice . We just moved here from NC and its always hard to find a good groomer. I heard good things about this place. So figured we would give it a shot. Was totally let down, I told them I wanted my pomeranian to have a lion cut. They made her a fluff ball. I have heard of places like this and it is a great idea. It is a nice place to take your dog for a bath. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was given quick instructions and Wade and Drake went to the tub. The shampoo that they offered us was thin I thought but it worked and we were allowed to use as much as we wanted. The water was just the right temperature and the boy's liked that even though they hate baths. Laundromutt offers towels and they offer hair dryers but the boys did not like them. Great idea. Love the fact that I don't spend 45 min cleaning dog hair out of my shower drain & wiping water from every crevice in my bathroom. However, the fact that they water down the shampoo to the point it took a whole bottle to get my dog somewhat clean is just wrong. I even asked for a new bottle & it was watered down as well. So this is the kind of business ethics this place has. Shameful. I brought it up to the lady when paying for the DIY dog bath & she even said that she agrees & the groomers do as well. This is a self serve dog wash...kind of like a laundromat for your dog. It was perfect. Our puppy is 25 lbs. too big for the sink and the tub is a pain. They have professional dog groomers tubs with a small lead to hold your dog. A variety of Shampoo (natural) is available, as well as face wash and ear/eye wipes. Blow dryers and detangle combs. They have a small shop with accessories and dog treats. The staff was friendly and helpful. For a dog that needs a bath and not actual grooming, this is a great, economical choice. read more

Took my Fred here yesterday for a grooming. This place has groomers on site as well as self-service washing stations. I think places like his are a great idea. I hate giving our dog a bath at home in the tub. Inevitably I end up in the bathtub WITH Fred all scratched up and needing a bath myself. Super fun. So having the option to bathe Fred between full-on grooms is really nice. Fred is a Pomeranian and we like to keep his hair cut down. I think he feels less heavy and cumbersome with a ton of fluff. For $38 they cut Fred's hair exactly how I requested - not too short and with his tail left alone and the hair around his face left full. They cut his nails, cleaned up his ears, and expressed his anal glands. He came out excited to leave but happy and wearing a festive Mardi Gras bandana. He smells good and looks great. There are several uneven spots of hair, but nothing that indicates a lazy job done, if that makes sense. As far as the employees and facility: I called Tuesday midday to inquire about an appointment. I asked my routing questions when going to a new place: Are the dogs waiting kept in individual kennels or are hey kept together and allowed to mingle: Individual kennels Are the dogs automatically muzzled: No, only as a last resort Are the dogs taken out for bathroom breaks: No, because they don't have a fenced outdoor area Are the dogs given specific appointment times or is here just a general drop off time: There are appointments rather than your dog being dropped off and then picked up many hours later. The facility itself appeared clean. There were several washing stations in the store, and the grooming takes place in the back. Update: I've taken Fred back twice and utilized their dog washing stations. I believe their are four total. They are each secured with a door so that you can work in privacy but also without worry about your dog darting away. They provide shampoo, conditioner (liquid and leave-in spray), as well as tearless face cleaner. There are ramps into the tub, and harnesses to keep your dog in place while washing them. After bathing your dog you can use heir dryer as well as the towels they provide. Outside of the tub areas there is a table with grooming supplies. read more

I'd give 0 if I could. We went in specifically wanting just a trim and the haircut is terrible. It's like they completely just shaved his legs and left all the hair on the rest of his body. On top of that, he has cuts on his stomach and private part. The groomer said that there was matting which I understand but a professional place would let someone be aware of what happened. There's also honestly no point in making an appointment because you'll still be waiting. They took him back at appointment time but did not work on him until they noticed my bf sitting there for a while. read more

We had our first visit here today. The place was easy to find in downtown OS, clean shop and has a self serve and a grooming service. Initially I was interested in the self serve until Melissa informed me how reasonable their grooming prices were. I have a 100 lb malamute that was bathed and had his nails clipped it was only $33. The other place I go to, is usually more than doubled that price. The staff was friendly, and gave him a small bag of treats for coming in. The only negative I have is that his undercoat was still slightly damp in some areas. He has such a thick coat I'm sure it is difficult to fully dry him. They were great on time, ideas quoted an hour and a half on the phone and he was finished right around that time. He was a walk in groom as well, got in with no problem. The facility is nice for self serve wash, however, it's extremely overpriced. My dog is a 55 pound German shepherd mix, and after tax, cost me $25 to wash him myself - and I had to bring MY OWN shampoo because they water theirs down. Their shampoo is so watered down it would be nearly impossible to wash a dog there - so FYI - if you're going here for self wash, be prepared to bring your own shampoo. read more

I cannot express enough that my dog was unrecognizable when I picked him up. So much that I had to triple check it was actually him. They charged me $85 to buzz cut my dog which I could have done myself. This was NOT discussed in the consult. I have a dog which does NOT normally have short hair and now he does and looks like a rat. She also cut his eyelashes....do you cut your own eyelashes? I don't think so!!! I'm highly upset and was treated like trash when questioning his cut. The owner threatened to call the police on me when I requested a refund. They would not give me a refund but did give me back $10 for cutting his eyelashes and I requested the tip back as well. I was physically upset about the haircut and all the owner could do is threaten to call the police. We will never go back here based off of how they treat their customers. There's no such thing as customer service here and they don't care about anything but making money. Find somewhere else!!!! Warning!!!!! If I could give a negative review I would. This is a small operation that looks like a great idea. Better than that, it is a great place to take your dog for a bath. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I called ahead and the nice young lady told me to come on in. When I got there we got the quick instructions and marched right over and put Rosie in a tub. The shampoo that they offered us was very good. The water was just the right temperature and there was no limit on how much we could use.
