The way he explained the procedure sounded convincing. Treatment were 125.00 per visit or if I got a package plan it would be 600.00 for 6 visits. I saved the 600.00 by April and I made an appointment. I went thinking that I was going to get 6 treatments for 600.00. He raised the c of the procedure to 175.00 or 4 treatments for 600.00. I thought wtf I want to get fixed. Big disappointment at the end of the treatments I was in a lot of pain and I could barely walk. In my opinion i don't think he knew how to treat my condition. It's been a couple of weeks since my last treatment and I'm still feeling worse than before I started the procedure. What a waste of money

Dr. Weddell zeroed in on the stuck places, and with such glee! I usually holler when something very stuck comes loose, because it usually hurts. I can't say it was painless, but all I could do was laugh! He was like a giant dousing rod, geiger counter, a dog chasing a squirrel, and yes, there's a sort of sound he makes that is not what I would call "grunting", more like a battle cry. In just a few minutes, I had 60% of my motion back! He REALLY knows what he's doing, and seems to care a great deal about relieving suffering. I have a functioning right hand now, thanks to him. I've been to many different kinds of chiropractors. Dr. Weddell is absolutely one of the best.

Gary Weddell is part of the Chico Chiropractic Center, therefore a lot of information and reviews…read moreabout him might appear under that heading as well. That said, I've written an updated review there about a recent billing problem that occurred which can be read here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/chico-chiropractic-center-chico?hrid=QtTZcGAGbUgykUqzRHFwCA&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) Or read on for a C&P of the review: Fraudulent billing practices. Haven't seen the chiro in over a year and a claim (which was never sent to me) went into my insurance company (who paid). I contacted the insurance company who investigated, reversed the claim (denied), and subsequently received a printed out statement from the billing company (they use an outside service) with some nonsense about how my name looked very close to the name of another patient who *was* in. Fine. However, a secondary claim came through five days *after* this incident, again which the insurance company paid on, this time for $25 MORE than the first claim (for services I did *not* receive. As Edward G. noted clear back in 2014, billing is a complete and total nightmare with this center. We experienced the same problems when we were being seen there a little over a year ago (see review under Gary Weddell). The chiropractor is good, the billing is worse than horrific, it's criminal in every sense of the definition. Hopefully the chiro will note these reviews and clean house. The billing agency is Advantage Medical Billing. PS: Just received call from Jennifer at Advantage Medical Billing (after calling in to file grievance with insurance company) stating that it was a "clerical" error. My response was that it is a fraudulent claim given that the second bill (supposedly again input incorrectly and intended for the actual recipient of the bill) was twenty-five more dollars than the initial claim, which is fraud, plain and simple. (Also see the review for Advantage Medical Billing just posted).
