We all loved the interactive games and had a great time. We literally didn't want our session to end. How it works is that you pay for a session, and then you can pick from several different rooms during that time with different hands-on challenges. You make your way from room to room, completing the challenges and competing against each other. I think there is a scoreboard somewhere to tell you who got the most points, but honestly, who cares? It's fun to just move your body and challenge your mind and body. Before you begin, you're encouraged to put all of your things in a locker, and I definitely recommend putting any sweaters or hoodies in there, as well as phones, if you think you might go HAM. This is definitely a workout! The people who work here are very kind and patient, and explained everything to us along the way. Not participating and just spectating is also an option, and you won't be charged. There are TV screens outside of each game room, so you can see what's happening and take some photos, if you want. This is definitely a great way to spend an hour or two with older kids, and I could see this being a hit as a birthday party destination.

The process to book the experience was fast and easy, everything was done online. Once we arrived, we found good parking right away although it seems like it could get pretty crowded very quickly. The reception are was well decorated with all of the rooms and activities they had and what they consisted of so I was intrigued reading while waiting. Almost immediately the host took us across the street to where the rooms are and she was very helpful and informative! Although I cannot remember her name unfortunately, she helped us a lot through the escape. Unfortunately we did not beat the game, but we now have an idea of what to choose from, which level works best for us, the number of rooms and how big they are, etc. In the end we got stickers and our picture taken... it was a pretty fun night. The price was a bit high in my opinion given that there was only one room for 1 hr (we paid a little over $33 per person) but then again I haven't been to an escape room in years so I am not entirely sure what the current average prices are. Overall I give it a 9/10, will definitely be back

The decor and lighting were exceptionally curated, and just overall it was an incredible space, great for hanging out with small groups. The bar staff were all knowledgeable and efficient in their service. The band playing was incredible on the semi-outdoor enclosed patio (there were heaters so was quite comfortable), and jsut overall was quite fun. Prices are a tad on the higher side but that is to be expected with a speakeasy and cocktails. Would definitely recommend and will try to return for any of their offerings, whether it be just the lounge or even a glass blowing class.

They have 40 lanes, a Pro Shop,…read morean arcade area, two pool tables, a lounge for adult beverage partaking and a fairly large snack bar. Where you bowl is different from the traditional horseshoe arrangement of seating with the scoring screen behind the ball return rack. This place has mini tables with four swing out seats and the scoring menu attached to the table. Every other lane is offset from their neighbor lanes. I found it confusing. I don't understand what all the tables are for in the bowling area unless they allow food and drinks down by the bowlers. If so, it would be the first time I've seen that. On the second visit I saw that indeed food and beverage was being utilized by the bowlers on these tables. It took me a couple of games to get used to the set up. The ball return is much closer to the foul line than what I'm used to therefore throwing off my stance but once I made the adjustment, I did much better. I bowled on a Monday and Thursday at my home lanes, then here on Friday. Bowling two days in a row really put soreness into my shoulder. After resting my shoulder and rotator cuff over the weekend, we returned today, Monday, for more games. I bowled a more consistent higher three game average today. The electronic scoring system is overdue for an upgrade in my opinion. I would like to see multiple options for scoring formats with at least one option that tells you your ball speed. We ordered a brownie bowl from the snack bar. It was okay and satisfied our sugar craving for some kind of dessert after eating lunch.

I am a terrible painter but I honestly made the best painting of my life here. Ashley made the experience fun and looked to my strengths to give me advice on what I could do better. She gave me different tools throughout the process to help me accomplish the look I was going for. One of the best things about this place as well is that if you don't finish in your first visit you can come back at certain times and have full access to their resources and advice even if it takes a couple times of coming back to do so. Coming here gave me confidence in my ability to actually paint well and it was not stressful at all during the process. There was a lot of empty wall space. But I've heard that since the ownership change, 21C isn't quite the same as far as art goes. I got a basic king room. Bed was comfortable, linens soft and sleek. Had a decent sized TV, a couch, a chair, modern fixtures. The shower was hot and had great pressure. Roomy bathroom. I will agree with some others who say there is a lot of noise outside. A lot of loud trucks with obnoxious mufflers and ambulance sirens. This doesn't bother me, as I've spent the last six years in NYC, but it may drive some crazy. Blackout drapes aren't perfect, but decent. Mine were detached from the track when I arrived, but maintenance fixed it lightening fast. Staff is very professional. Valet is 30 bucks a day, but they are fast and efficient. The cost when I visited in December, right before new years, was about 120 a night (again, valet is 30 on top of that), but room is great and location is right downtown.
