Books are available for checkout, while others can be transported to this particular location or obtain virtually. Multimedia is also available for checkout. In addition there's a selection of used books and used media for sale. The building is also used as a meeting place for various events.

It's top-tier -- great technology, plenty of different spaces to choose from, and it's easy to find a quiet area without a lot of noise or distractions. The ability to reserve a room is also simple and convenient. As far as I remember from a couple years ago, you didn't even need a library card just to come in and use the space, which I also appreciated. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and I've never had a bad experience here -- not with staff, patrons, or maintenance. I also really respect that they're open on the weekends. Libraries like this are exactly what communities should have and what other areas should model.

The Children's area has multiple seating areas and it was nice to have space to spread out with my toddler. The staff was very friendly and the library itself is in a great area next to a park and playground you can visit before or after you get some books. Next to the kids area is the community room which was having a Friends of the Library sale, everything was 5 for $1! The rest of the library is pretty big too, the adult section is large, I didn't see a teens section but it was probably there. Tons of natural light from the windows up high in the main section. It's a quiet and serene place to read and relax. Only thing is the bathrooms could only be accessed by asking the security guard lady to open it for 1 person to use at a time, 15 minute time limit. But they were clean for that reason, not allowing for open access. Overall, this is a decently good library in Tracy that's part of the San Joaquin-Stockton library system.

The area near the entrance is often occupied by individuals who appear to be spending extended periods there and there is sometimes a strong odor by the entrance that makes the space uncomfortable. On one occasion when I came to study, I was unable to find a table with an available charging port for my laptop because several outlets were being used continuously for charging phones. It would be helpful if the library could take steps to better manage these issues and ensure the space remains clean, welcoming and safe for families, students and all community members.

Who doesn't love libraries?!…read more This library is our favorite! It is kept clean, organized, and have a wide variety of children's books to choose from. Staff and volunteers are always helpful. As other libraries, this branch also offer self-checkouts and easy drop offs. They they also offer automatic extension for borrowed items and you can also put books on hold if you are waiting on a specific one. I also had a privilege of using one of the conference rooms with other mom friends to help our kids with their homework. Parking is ample and is located in downtown Brentwood, so you can also shop, eat, play and walk around after. If you also want to support the library, one way is to check out their second hand books on the second floor or donate books as well.

For the new welcoming place for all parking permits it's remarkably unlabeled and not easy to find. Don't go to the main doors of the building go down to what seems to be a lower level area to find the police department. Also write down your license plate number yo save yourself a trip back to your car. I love that everyone just kept saying sorry new rules. Library visits require a visit to the police station. Someone call the firemen.

We attended a storytelling/ playtime class. There was singing, hand gestures and lots of toys. It was so much fun. Lots of toddlers too! I am looking forward to more activities. All the staff is super friendly and helpful, the library inside and out is spotless, they have restrooms, computers, games, coloring, so many genres of books.
