Asda is goo if you go after 9pm because they drop there prices immensley on almost everything so you can really get a good bargain! I thnk asda do a great range of clothes for everybody and specially the kids. I usually pick up tshirts and jeans for my son for under a fiver. I think the toys in here are really good as well. Great quality and a very good price. The dvd and cd selection is great. They always get the latest releases and they always beat hmv for prices. This store is a decent store but isn't a great place to do a weekly shop mainly due to the stock there, but on the other hand i does have some cool things about it, including being the home to Blackburn's Amazon Lockers which are quite a cool way to receive and return parcels when sold directly from Amazon. This supermarket also has a cafe. In some ways, it just feels like it has been left behind, walking up to the supermarket in a way feels like walking into an abandoned building, there is so much empty space and sadly it just doesn't feel nice. Overall, the selection in stores is quite poor for most items, even the gluten free selection was poor as well as the selection for other items as well. The staff didn't seem too helpful either, and that's if I could even find them! The game selection was so poor, there was probably about 4 or 5 games with some prices of good value and some prices highly overpriced, but it was so few in number they might as well not have it, and it was just a fraction to what I would normally see in a supermarket elsewhere, for example this game selection was smaller than what you would see for just one console in another supermarket. Frustrating. Overall, the store not only lacks the feel of a good supermarket, it has a poor selection too with some items which were highly overpriced, while also taking poor service into account I sadly feel the only two strong points for this branch of Morrisons is the location and having Amazon Lockers, which in its' own isn't enough to warrant anything over a single one star, in all honesty the Amazon Lockers would even be better to be located across the way in The Mall.

I find the goods are a little on the pricey-side compared to what you would pay in neighbouring town's stores such as Tesco and Asda. Staff aren't too bad, there is one member of staff though who spends more time talking and holding up queues rather than getting people through the check-outs quickly. I would avoid shopping here in the hours 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm as the kids from the school opposite descend on the store and staff don't seem to do anything to keep them from behaving.

Certain members of staff are rude and not in the slightest bit helpful and insist on 'singing' I use the term extremely loosely and can really make you feel like you are a hindrance to them. My fiancé recently lost his wallet after a visit to the store. When we got home I called them and got through to the most unhelpful woman ever who proceeded to have an argument with a customer and then moaned to the staff before hanging up on me! We drove down to the store where a very friendly security guard told us that the wallet had been found in the car park so a happy if somewhat frustrating ending. Some of the goods there can be more expensive than you would pay at other supermarkets and the selection of goods available is limited due to the small size of the store. One main downside to this store is its close proximity to a school so be sure to avoid it between 3 4 pm as the pupils seem to like nothing better than congregating there. Overall, it is a good option if you have run out of something and don't have the time to go elsewhere.
