Bought a new bedroom suite in February they pushed the warranty we said no our other suite was 42 hrs old, as seniors we take care of our stuff, they addEd it on price again we said NO, sales persin told us twice you have Mfg warranty for a year 2 months later we found dresser has crack on side we reported it, got run around, made call, then received email no warranty because we didn't report it 2-3 days, it didn't happen 2-3 days, less then 2 months before we saw it and reported it as soon as we did. They have gone silent. July Facebook post says seniors are number one with Bad Boy.. what a joke!! This has been a very bad experience with this particular store in London, ON We ordered 6 appliances in April 2021 with full payment at the time of order. I never got a call from them that the appliances are back ordered (not even at the time of order was I told). I had to make at least 20-30 calls to get my appliances, that too 1 at a time but till date (10 months) we haven't received the remaining 2 appliances. Every time they extended the date of receiving the appliances in there warehouse. It has been really stressful dealing with this store's employees. Last time when I called I spoke to the new operations manager, she was very rude and did not try to help at all. They have the worst service. I never had such bad experience in my life. read more

Friendly advise to all fellow consumers - NEVER EVER SHOP IN ANY OF THE BAD BOY STORES , SPECIFICALLY NOT THE ONE IN LONDON ONTARIO The company policies are very unfair and that's why the stores are almost empty. My experience was not pleasant at all. The WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I ever had and I'm a shopper and only provider for the family with 2 kids and 2 senior (80 year old parents). I purchased a dryer at the end of August of 2019, paid for it in full (never do it, once you swiped that card - they've got you). I'm a single mother and not a handy women. When I went home an hour later - I found out that the dryer is not going to fit. I rushed to the store and pleaded with the customer service and the store manager John to cancel the order. I was told - it's final sale. There is a very small writing on the bottom of the bill I signed that states so. When I was signing - I asked the sales person - what am I signing for (lesson learned - I will record my conversations with sales people from now on). Final sale was not mentioned. There is no clear display that all sales are final anywhere in the store. The dryer was not even delivered, in fact I still don't have the dryer. I was back there 2 hours after the sale.... Now I'm stuck with the store credit I can't use (I have to redo the plumming, which I don't have money for at this time), when I need food and medications for my dependent children and senior parents. I hope that the person who made the decision in my case is very proud of himself and wish that karma will get back to him and his family for putting unnessessary financial burden on mine. I was buying a dryer because it's a necessity and was using the very last of my savings to do so. I live paycheck to paycheck. Also in one of the reply's for the complaints - the store has provided the phone numbers to the higher management (Tony and Mr. Lastman Jr.) with the urge to call them and they will help. Received a small refund (~200$) and it was virtually impossible to receive a full refund. Don't ever buy in store, they talk up some bull**** about having to pay a delivery fee when online there is no delivery fee. In truth, the fee you are paying is for that sales person's commission. Talked to HQ to reimburse and NOBODY seems to know anything. This is after already complaining about it via their contact form. Poor business practices, if you're going to charge the fee, be upfront that its paying for commissions. OR charge the delivery both in store and online to hide the truth better. purchased a sofa and loveseat combination about three years ago, within six months the pop-up foot rest stopped working, decided to fix this myself, and found loose bolts throughout both units. About a year in springs, and the loveseat started to sag, and foot rests start angling on each unit. today yet again, there is a cabling issue with the foot rest. There is no name on this product as to where it came from or who manufactured it. Buyer beware when using. Who has worse customer service than Bad Boy....NOOOOBODY! I wish this rating allowed for a minus star. Our experience with this den of incompetent nitwits is almost unbelievable. We walked into the showroom in London to purchase a Maytag washer they had on sale for $50 less than MSRP ($750 total after savings). The reason we purchased from them was because they assured us that the model we were looking for was in stock and could be delivered within a week. They delivered a Whirpool model that was listed for $50 less at the time of our purchase. It all happened so fast that the delivery guys were gone before we realized the error. Then the fun started. My poor wife spent 2 days just trying to get someone to respond to their mistake. When someone finally returned our call he berated my wife for not knowing that Maytag and Whirpool are made by the same manufacturer and are the "same thing" in his words. Yeah genius, that is why they are priced differently by $50 with the Maytag model having more features. 4 service tickets later and with frustration mounting we decided to abandon the dead end route they had us on and tried to contact the sales person directly. You know the drill, you make a purchase and the sales person hands you his card as you are leaving saying something to the effect of: "thank you for your purchase and if you run into any issues give me a call." Bwahahahaha, he said it with such a straight face. Of course he never returned any of our calls. This company seems to think it is okay to deliver a different, less expensive appliance than what was purchased then wash their hands of the problem. Stay away from these people. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before I went to the store. I decided less than 30mins after my purchase that I no longer wanted an item. I called to cancel and waited a considerable period of time to be told my request could not be granted as all sales were final. The product never left the store as it wasnt available. I would not recommend shopping at this store. They charged me extra to transfer items from another store...even though I offered to pick it up myself. This is the WORST place to buy furniture. If I could give it zero stars I would. Our floor was scratch upon first delivery, we were told that all the packages would be removed and they weren't. The manager "forgets" what he says and doesn't honor anything. I will NEVER shop here again. No customer service what so ever! Buyer Beware...you get the service you pay for...cheaper definitely isn't better in this case. Our delivery was input for 10 days later than we had scheduled it, and the operations manager essentially made it "our problem". We were not compensated for any inconvenience. Only 2/3 of our furniture was delivered and they left all the packaging for us to contend with. I bought a couch that is a huge safety issue. The couch constantly breaks. The costumer service is horrible. The warranty is a waste of money. They were promised it would be in store and ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks.. it has now been almost 7 weeks! They wanted 28% restocking fee and another $250 to order the opposite direction sectional! It has been highly disappointing to say that the service I received from bad boy is the worst experience I ever had in my life. They are friendly at first as they are looking to make a sale but in the end they are disrespectful and rude. I called and was put on hold for 20 min. I could hear the customer service person chatting and laughing with what sounded like coworker. When I went to the store to say that because of poor customer service, I would like to cancel my order and get my money back.The manager told me that my complaint was not valid because when I call the bank I am on hold for a long time and I am not complaining and that I should expect the same at a store. Comparing a completely unrelated situation, to excuse poor service where an employee chose to continue her personal conversation while a paying customer is waiting on the line for 20 minutes. Buyer beware, thats what the operations manager (at least that is what he said he was) told me when I called for help about a fridge missing a leg that was delivered. He said thats what could happen these days and I was told to deal with manufacturer about the problem and their central customer service. Salesperson Liz, offered to help, said she would investigate and get back to me, still waiting for her to call me back after 3 weeks(after I called her three times). I was even told by Liz, that buying from the store where you are charged a $75 delivery charge Vs on-line where its free, the cost is because we are here to help if anything goes wrong with the delivery(you can see how that went). Called the Bad Boy customer service, terrible service. All around, my first and last purchase, they got their money, what do they care now. Now I have scratched floors and had to struggle to fix the fridge and now its making a gurgling noise. Very bad experience I won't soon forget. When I asked about returning the fridge, the Operations Manager said I could not return until I dealt with Danby. I am not a novice consumer, but I really feel like I was taken advantage of, I feel stupid I fell for it. I just hope someone else can learn from my mistake. Extremely disappointed in the dealings with this company...I have never had a retail experience whereby the company refused to acknowledge an error! Bad Boy advertised online of an available product to which they charged my visa card and then noted they did not have stock for several months. On request of credit toward goods not received they stated -ALL SALES FINAL-- to which I noted..there has been no sales transaction in that I have not received any goods..they have not acknowledged this email. In the attempt to find an alternative product ...they had nothing to offer...so the fact is clearly obvious that they have used the online venue to entrap customers to purchase product that they do not have, can not offer and then to threaten...ALL SALES FINAL!! The previous comments for this vendor speak volumes to the integrity of this company and if anyone has a Bad Boy franchise anywhere, please note this as a really unfortunate result of Bad business practices hurting many. read more

We purchased a furniture set for $2k was promised the fabric was a new type of synthetic leather that wouldn't flake off like bonded leather does. The couches started flaking a year&half later. We contacted the warranty dept who told us we in fact have bonded leather it's not covered under warranty. After escalating for months we were offered a $350 store credit. For a $2,000 set. DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THE SALESPEOPLE TELL YOU. We're living proof they'll tell you anything to make the sale. I didn't listen, I bought a $1600 table and chair set, as I needed only the chairs. 10 days later I brought a chair back into Bad Boy to show them how their poor quality chairs held up. These dumbass fucking thieves will never sell a single item to me again, and here's why. I bought a three-piece sofa, love-seat, chair set from them on Boxing Day, and all was good. UNTIL, I ask them if I'm able to return it, and they tell me that all of their sales are final. (Keep in mind, this is AFTER I forked my ~$1200 to them.) Wait a second, what?! It never said this ANYWHERE. Not on their flyers, not in their store, it didn't say anything anywhere. Not only this, but Bad Boy's customer service is such shit that I think I'd rather go and talk with Microsoft, or Sony, or even APPLE'S customer support. Not only this, but I've seen them change the names of their poorly-reviewed items in order to put customers under the impression that they're buying something different, or better. I'm never ever in my life ever again going to willingly walk into Lastman's Bad Boy with the intention of buying something that isn't shit. Next time I try to furnish my sister's home in London, I'm going to The Brick. That is how fucking terrible Lastman's Bad Boy is, and I hope that this review can put a positive influence on you by steering you towards not setting foot anywhere NEAR that hellhole of a store. read more

My experience I have purchased a couch from this Big Box store where it took approx. 3 months to receive this couch. Once i have received it I have noticed that there was a strong odour from the arm rests which i thought would eventually go away. I waited a few weeks and noticed that the smell wasn't deteriorating and so I called back in to have someone come out and take a look. A tech from Lastman's Bad Boys came out and verified that it was the under pad for the arm rests and would report back to the manufacturer. So i waited approx 2 weeks and called back to find out what the situation was. The person on the phone told me that my service manager would get in contact with me the next day. Once again, I have heard nothing back from this store and in a few days later i walked into the store because i didn't want to get the same run around. I spoke with the service manager where he called the manufacturer to find out what is going on with this issue where they said they wanted me to have it sent back to the manufacturer to figure out what this issue was. At first i did not want to do this because it took so long for me to receive the couch in the first place and secondly I did not have any other couch in my place. I asked the service manager how long would i be without a couch and he guaranteed me that i'd get it back within 5-7 business days. I asked him twice on what would happen if i didn't receive it back in that time frame and he just kept saying no no you will receive it back within 5-7 business days. I said ok lets do it I want this fixed. The delivery guys picked up my couch to return and while they were trying to take it down the hallway they damaged my walls. I was extremely upset and notified the service manager where i sent him a picture of what the damage was. After the 8th business day I walked into Bay Boys again and was completely fed up. I spoke to the same service manager where he got in contact with the manufacturer again to find out the status of my issue. They said that it's done and that they are going to send it out in 2 days. I said that was not acceptable since Bad boys guarenteed me on 5-7 business days return. I finally received the couch back where i still have not heard anything on them repairing the damage. I bought a couch that they told me was leather ( come to find out its bonded leather.. 1/4 percent leather rest vinyl ) ... after 11 months the couch wore out so i called them after 6 weeks of no one calling me back i finally got a hold of someone and they sent out a service guy he took pics of the couch and said for sure it was a defective.. he told me they would call me in a week to let me know what they are going to do for me 9 they didnt call i let two weeks go buy and then i started calling ... i had bought the 5 year warrenty on this couch (which after calling i was told it was a third party warrenty for stains, not what i was told in store i was told it covered the couch for 5 years no matter what happened to it )i started calling aug 5th 2014 and had to call everyday for 5 months they wanted to only give me 200 dollars back and i wouldnt take that i wanted my couch replaced .. they finally said my couch was no longer made and i could go pick out a couch of the same value .. which they didnt have one couch that i liked and i bought my couch on one of their sales so they only had three other couches in my price range which when i went to the store to look at them one of the couches fell apart after lifting the arm.. i finally settled on a couch and i mean settled its totally not what i wanted .. i was told it would be 6 weeks for delievery and they tried to charge me for the colour change on the couch but in their ad it started the couch came in many colour there was no fine print that said i would have to pay 10% of the value of the couch to change the colour .. i fought about that and they said i could have the grey colour for free, then they told me i would i owed them 75 dollars for delievery, which i paid also not happy about .. then after i signed the paperwork i noticed that on my invoice it didnt say that the pillows were included like the sales guy said .. so i asked after 40 mins of him researching on a computer he tells me its not the pillows that are displayed its other pillows but he didnt have a pic or fabric to show me .. so i asked if i could have the pillows that were displayed i was told no and finally after calling head office they said i could have those pillows.. now i get a call today asking when they could come pick up my couch and i said i was told i could keep my couch for the 6 weeks it took for me to get a new couch.. and i was informed that they cant even process my order for the new couch until the picked up the old couch.. which i was in their store exactly a week ago .. so they havent even placed my order yet... so im suppose to be with out a couch for 6 weeks... this place is a joke dont ever ever ever buy from there they lie lie lie .. read more

Bought a sectional couple months ago was a good deal till the couch started to fall a part it was just one cushion. Called bad boys they said the sectional had to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair . I just wanted to send the cushion but no I had to send the hole sectional they would not send me any thing to sit on while the other one is being repair . WORST customer service ever!! Bought a set of appliances in march at 18months no payments and they ran it thru as a 6month. Which I didnt realize until I recieved a phone call and letter in the mail that said I had a missed payment and had accumulated $ 537.49 interest. ( Keep in mind this is 6months after buying my appliances). When I called ths store I spoke with Mike who basically talked down to me as if it were my fault he claimed they would change it over to 18months and pay back the $537.49 well 4 weeks later and about 6 different phone calls between Mike and TD and badboy has only paid back $300 of it. Ordered a fridge & stove at Bad Boy London, Ontario Got a call last Thursday saying they could deliver them earlier than expected..on Saturday. Thought this was great. Arranged disconnection of old gas stove and removal of Fridge. Last Saturday afternoon nothing had arrived and I had not received the advance call with delivery window. Called delivery and was told that I was not scheduled for another 2 weeks. Was basically told I was not being honest about the early delivery call. Fortunately I still have the voicemail message from Lastman's Bad Boy asking me about the early delivery. (I then called back to confirm with them and arranged gas stove disconnection/reconnection) Played this for the Operations Manager the next day at the London Store. At first he admitted that Bad Boy had made a mistake. Following day they made token offer of of $100 store credit plus a promise to deliver on Tuesday. After being accused of being dishonest and then getting the run around, I just wanted to cancel my order and have nothing further to do with Bad Boy. Operations Manager refused to cancel order. When I asked who else I could speak to, he gave me a number. Turned out to be the extended service number. They referred me back to Store General Manager. He refused to cancel the order and says there is no "Head Office" that I could speak directly to. I want nothing to do with Bad Boy, and will not be accepting delivery if they ever attempt to make it. Will continue trying to cancel order and get money back. STAY AWAY from Bad Boy if you expect any sort of positive customer service. They initiated all this by calling me to arrange the early delivery and failed to follow thorough. Then they suggest that was not possible because they knew the fridge was not in their warehouse. Meanwhile I have the recorded message of them saying the Fridge was arriving as warehouse on the Friday and they already had stove. Now they won't let me cancel order and will try to keep my money. Hard to believe they are still in business. It's too bad, the actual sales guy I made the purchase from was nice. Everything down hill from there. read more
