Very rarely do I leave a 1 star review. However, the communication with customers regarding delivery is appalling. The wait times when you are on hold are outrageous. I have, several times in the past two weeks spent in excess of half an hour, and even up to one hour, on hold. I also communicated with them online, and eventually they returned my email, giving a delivery time, but the address was wrong. Their email indicated that I should call their delivery department if any details of the order and address of delivery were incorrect. I have not yet been able to communicate with a representative. Their delivery department allegedly answers calls from 9-5 on weekdays. I have never been able to get through, despite making multiple calls and spending a cumulative total of 3 hours on hold. Because I work as a teacher during the day, I simply cannot remain on hold for more than an hour. They have excellent prices, particularly during sales, for products that would cost you much more at other stores. However, the frustration caused by the lack of communication concerning deliveries is something that the Head Office needs to address. Bad Boy is, from the customer service angle, truly bad. My advice: don`t have your order delivered. Pick it up instead. Then I figured out how to get their attention. Leave a one star review on Google Maps. Their Social Media department contacted me by email literally 10 minutes after I posted the review, promising to resolve the issue. If my product is successfully delivered in good condition, then I can change the rating in this review. However, I`m holding out on that until I actually receive the product (a sofa-bed). read more

Do not pay for the warrenty here! I bought a couch and audimen here a year and a half ago. I paid hundred for the warrenty which they said they would replace anything damaged immedietly. the audimen broke a couple months in and the couch cushion ripped. they said they would replace both over a year ago!!! The only reason this gets a 2 is due to the price. Started Shopping for a sofa-recliner in November - then found a deal that was advertised - went to one Bad Boy - a bit high pressure and then there were none in stock - hoping by Christmas, then went to a 2nd Bad Boy same story, but promised 1st week of December, then try to add the "warranty for an additional $200"- guess they are taking a page from auto dealerships. Paid 50% at time with notice they would call 3 days a head so that we would pay the balance before delivery. We called a couple of times during that first week and then were informed that despite paying by CC, we would have to return to the store to complete the transaction (no phone/online possible). This information was not conveyed to us prior and during the initial transaction. Poor customer service. On the day of delivery got a 4 hour window though able to check online (which is no help as whoever planned the route had them criss-crossing the area). Then the driver called from a cellphone from Kitchener??!! Apparently Bad Boy had not defined the unit and he was about to leave when we called him back - and went out to chase the truck down. The 2 men then unboxed the unit - assembled it and left us the giant box to try and recycle- box still taking room in the garage (perhaps need to take a lesson from Costco with their delivery practices, including taking the boxes with them). We are still happy with the sofa, but would not really recommend the company, and its service standard. read more

We purchased it online where it said it was "available".  We were then told there would be a delay of 3-6 weeks. Not ideal, but we were willing to wait.  Within 5 days of this purchase we found another chair we liked even more than the one we bought from your company. We requested a refund, we were told it wasn't possible because it was purchased online. Like what kind of joke, scamming business refuses a refund like that. I've worked in retail for 23 years and have never heard of anything like this.... Denied a refund 5 days after the purchase?? At the time, we were moving and I was also in the middle of changing jobs, the last thing I wanted to do was deal with this, so we left it alone and decided to wait for the 2nd best chair we found. This is a $900+ chair and we're settling for our 2nd choice because your company refuses to refund us. This level of service is eye opening to how you do business. As a cherry on top, this is my first time buying anything from Bad Boy.  The 6 weeks came and went, ZERO contact or follow up from your company. We stayed patient, working in retail I've delt with delays and supply issues as well so I understood the delays, but the lack of service and brutal "return policy" was very troubling. We waited till mid December to finally receive our first follow-up and were told it would arrive early January. Obviously this was annoying but we had already waited 8 weeks, so we could wait another 3 or 4 weeks. Mid January came, and nothing. Late January comes and still nothing so we emailed again and now we're told early February for arrival. We waited patiently and emailed again on Feb 17th, this time we haven't even received a reply. Taking your customers for granted like this is shocking.  THIS E-MAIL WAS SENT AFTER THE FEB 17TH EMAIL AND NEITHER EMAILS HAVE BEEN REPLIED TO. I will never order from them again!!!!! Purchased my stuff in August only received my mattress and dresser. I booked my delivery last weekend for my bed frame. Well they cancelled even though they called me 2 nights before to remind me. Their excuse was it isn't in-stock. So they changed my delivery date to today and guess what nothing AGAIN!!!! I emailed and left several phone messages during that time and heard nothing back. I eventually tweeted them and saw several similar claims from other customers. I finally spoke with a customer service rep after I posted my tweet and they failed to tell me that I had to have my old dishwasher disconnected by a plumber ahead of time for them to remove it. Bought 3 appliances from this location as they had a great deal going on. Let me tell you there customer service is par excellence and their delivery guys are awesome! We saw the deal and went in for the buy, the sales person and store manager were very friendly and placed the order for us. The item was suppose to come in and be delivered with 2 weeks and they followed up with us multiple times. The delivery guys were very quick, clean in moving things around and friendly. They had the equipment to remove the doors if necessary. They made sure to lift the stuff, not to scratch the floor. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

My parents didn't get their money back after cancelling an order a week before its expected delivery date. They had to constantly call to get in touch with customer service to inquire about their refund, only to be constantly put off and lied to. It took my Dad going in person on two separate occasions to finally get assistance. Bad boy started by offering their measly in-store credit, and after a lot of frustration and persistence of my parents, Bad Boy ended up keeping 15% of the total paid cost, which was just over $200. They called it a "restock fee" though clearly this never left their facility-- clearly a bogus charge. With the rate this company is screwing so many people over - I don't see this business lasting much longer. Absolutely appalling service. I bought a dryer and paid them for removal of the old dryer as part of my delivery. when the delivery man arrived he was angry that the washing machine was in the way of the old dryer. Demanded To know where my husband was (sexist much?)l. he kept dropping f bombs, and asking me was I not told everything had to be uninstalled before they arrived (no I wasn't). he left the new dryer and told me he'd come back for the old dryer. He didn't come back. I called customer service (by the way be prepared You'll be on hold for at least an hour EVERYTIME you call.) customer service told me they'd send someone Tuesday to pick up the dryer. Then called me back later and said it will be Wednesday or Thursday, that's fine. Friday is here and the old useless dryer is still sitting here. No pick up, no phone call. Customer service now tells me "we dont pick up things after delivery. (((shrug))) sorry for your luck, basically. region of Peel no longer does appliance pick up. We purchased a dishwasher in February which showed available on their website. At the end of March we were told sorry, no stock. Asked to cancel and were told NO we can only get an in-store credit. I said ok then we will just wait until June as now that is the date we MIGHT get it. After numerous calls to confirm the delivery we found out at the end of May that they had no clue when the item will come. They offered us another unit in place of the original one saying the unit was just as good and in stock too.... We agreed happily so we could just close this matter. "NEW" dishwasher delivered on Saturday June 5th and the installer came June 8th only to tell us the top rack is broken and he doesn't do repairs so we should call Bad Boy back regarding this issue. STILL paid the $40.00 fee for the install because he's a contractor. Also there's a scratch on the inside on the stainless steel. They told us to call service.. BUT IT'S A NEW UNIT.. WHY DO I NEED SERVICE? With no other option given, we call GE and they say they'll send a service person but there's something strange here.. the new unit warranty was registered in APRIL to a different customer!? We just got it on June 5th.. how can this be? Obviously this was a unit that was sent back by another customer. She asked if we wanted the service. How can she still offer to service the unit when some elses name is on the warranty? And we were expected to just be OK with losing 2 months of our 1 year warranty?! Totally horrible service,  spent all day making calls, just to have a Manager argue with us after all this!!! No resolution as of 4:30 pm Tuesday June 15th... still waiting for an email/call.!! Finally had to call back after 3 messages not returned. June 17th, spoke with Abby  - @ the Brampton store. This so called Manager was the most rude and condescending person I've ever dealt with! I was accused of breaking the dishwasher myself, even though I told him they definitely delivered us a USED unit. He ended up referring me to his head office & I explained it all to them AGAIN who finally seemed to get what happened and admitted they mistakenly sent us a used dishwasher. They can't give me my money back, but can exchange it.. to exchange it she'll need approval so she'll call me back. After almost 2 weeks of calls and arguing unnecessarily they called me to say they are sending a new unit. The new dishwasher was supposed to come on 22nd pushed to 23rd.. no room on truck. Terrible company. Paid for a warranty on a washing machine that they decided not to honour saying there was overuse of the machine. This machine broke in the previous year and they tried to not honour the warranty then as well saying they don't sell the type of warranty that I had. I sent the original receipt in with proof of a 5 year warranty on it so they fixed it that time. While I did expect a little bit of delays due to the current situation, this is too much and it feels like the salesperson blatantly lied about the delivery dates just to make a sale. The washer and dryer was finally delivered Friday afternoon. After trying both the washer and dryer, we found that the dryer would turn on but not respond or do anything else. After contacting our sales representative (I believe Ricco), he basically said there was nothing he would do and slammed the phone on the desk before leaving us to complain to a coworker. We hung up after that. We have contacted the socialmedia email and were told that as we plugged in the dryer, we could not use Bad Boys to fix the situation and had to go through the manufacture. I'm not sure how else we could test the dryer without plugging it in, but that was what we were told. 10 days without a working dryer and we finally had a repair man (through the manufacture) come to see what the issue was. Apparently, the motor is broken. So essentially we paid to buy a broken dryer. Bad Boys won't do anything even though they have a 3 day return policy and the manufacture is only offering to repair the dryer. As the warranty is only one year, we may have issues that are ongoing from here on out. To say that I'm frustrated and extremely disappointed would be an understatement. Buyers Beware: the price tag in the store is more expensive than the ones online. Make sure you tell them so they will match their own advertised price. They will also charge you for delivery but their website offer free delivery and the Solid Gold Warranty cost less online than in store. They will also offer you monthly payments with "no interest" through their Flexity credit card but will charge you about $300 more (maybe less, maybe even more depending on your payback plan) for administration fee and Flexity sign up fee. The best part is when we bought furniture in MAY and we were told that because of the pandemic our furniture will be delivered end of July/early August. You are never notified if your delivery date has been pushed back. You need to call them to ask if you're getting your furniture or not. It's the end of September and we're told that we MIGHT get it end of October but there are more than 40 customers ahead of us who will get their furnitures first, and the store only get very few at a time from the manufacturer. read more

I had to call to find out when I should be receiving this sofa... they told me it might be end of July, I said I want a confirmed date so customer service had to call me back after speaking with their purchasing group to tell me now it'll be some time after August 10th. Ridiculous ...why am I having to follow up, if a product is delayed the least they can do is call you about it AND reflect proper delivery times on their website!!! I placed an order online for a bedframe. It said it usually ships in 2 to 3 weeks. I thought that was ok. But after 3 weeks I got no notifications about my order so I emailed them about it. Lastman's Bad Boy This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business . Where to start ... I ordered my appliances in December and said I wanted a delivery date of mid/late August as we were renovating in the summer (delivery date is clearly written on my receipt as well). From the beginning of August I received multiple messages from them saying my products were in and that I should come in to set up delivery. I went in two weeks ago on Friday to arrange delivery. At that time the receptionist said that only two of the 6 products that I ordered were in. I was shocked as they had just left a message a few days earlier saying my products were in. I questioned when the rest of my products would be ready for delivery and she said she had no clue and that only a manger would know that. I requested to speak to a manager and waited over half an hour and neither manager, as 2 were in the store, bothered to come speak to me despite being paged as well as the receptionist going directly to one. At this point I had to pick up my daughter so I asked the receptionist to have one of them call me. I waited until Monday afternoon and no one called me back. So I decided to call the warehouse directly. I was put on hold for half an hour before I gave up. I then sent 3 emails to service, general and Brampton @noobody.com. I have yet to receive a response. This past Tuesday my husband and I went into the Shoppers World location again. This time we got a manager. He checked into our products and said that Camco, their manufacturers, had the products but were now closed and that he would call them in the morning and get back to us. Three calls to the manager on Thursday before he told us that Camco would be calling him on Friday with the delivery date. Friday comes and again no call. Two more calls to the manager and now the story changes. Camco all of a sudden doesn't have our products but will be getting a shipment in on Tuesday and then they can tell us a delivery date. As of now, Sunday September 15th, I don't have my appliances and my children and I cannot move back into our home as I can't cook them a meal. I am saddened and shocked at how poorly this business is run and how bad their customer service is. I would think Mel Lastman, a man who used to be responsible for the budget of Toronto, would be running a tighter ship. Be careful when buying from them. Hands down - the absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but had no other option. I purchased a loveseat on March 22/21 and it was finally delivered on September 21/21!! The entire experience was completely exhausting - multiple emails and phone calls. I waited for 40+ minutes on hold and finally spoke to a Customer Service Rep on August 4th (over 4 months after the purchase!!) They informed me someone would call to set up a delivery date. I received the phone call on August 18th but was unavailable for the 1 delivery option that was available so without offering an alternate they said they would call back. The company called on September 10th and arranged a delivery date of September 21/21. The product did arrive intact, but I will never purchase anything from this company again. They did not call me as requested, they provided generic email responses which did not relate to my specific account, and the time between purchase and delivery was completely ridiculous. At one point, I requested a refund and they told me this was against their policy and a store credit could be provided - but why would I ever want to go through this frustrating process again?
