Had a three day return and let us come early to pick her up which was very nice to have especially since most family's want to bring them back to their home as soon as possible. They are affordable and clearly care for their customers by not price gouging while you're trying to heal. They one with an excellent package for private cremation. My only issue when we were making our plan we had asked for her whiskers in which we were told they would be put her whiskers on a separate cardstock piece. When we arrived to pick up her ashes it seems there was miscommunication and they only snipped two whiskers and placed it in the bag with her fur. I understand mistakes happen but we will never get a part of her that we wanted or have an opportunity for that piece of her ever again.

There was a time I took my senior rottie in and they had to take him into the back and cut his nails and draw some blood and I could hear one of the techs in there talking to him like I would (like a baby) telling him he's doing so good and just being so sweet to him and I loved that I took him somewhere where they would treat my so loved dog the way I would.

The vet was very thorough and informative about my dog's broken toe. Making sure i understood the injury and follow up care. The next day my pup was still in a lot of pain so I was worried and called the VCA and they told me to come in and prescribed a heavier pain med for her too. She's doing a lot better with the pain and slowly hobbling around now. Overall a great place, just beware the prices are high.

I went in for a second opinion consultation on a minor issue with my dog. After an hour past my appointed time, I was finally called into the exam room. The doctor and assistant finally arrived, and I explained the situation. I was told they could perform the procedure but it would be costly because anesthesia would be required. The doctor looked over my dog quickly, and then the update began. I was told that she would at some point have issues with her left knee. So they could do the paw nail issue and the knee at the same time, saving me from paying for anesthesia twice. But the cost of that was 3 times the cost of the initial procedure. I said I would think about it, and the assistant took us back out to the front reception area. I asked to write down the pricing of the 2 procedures and gave her my credit card. She came back with the document, gave me back my card, and we left. 3 months later I start to get calls from this clinic claiming I owed them for the visit. I told them they had my card and that I had paid. This went on over and over again, no one ever telling me how much I owed, me saying I paid, and they would look into it. Then the threat of collections came, finally with the amount in question. I contacted my bank and there was never a charge from them to my card. So why did they have my card but never charge it? I paid in cash, got a receipt, and left. I will never go back. They are like used car dealerships. Always trying to upsell and add additional charges. There are much better places to take your pet. Any other place would be better than this place.

It took six hours to get around to doing the cleaning, and when I went to pick her up, it took another 45 minutes of my waiting around before anybody could be bothered to bring her up to the front. I have never been so disrespected by the techs when I told them the cost was 50% more than what they quoted, I was called a liar. Do yourself a favor and steer clear! EDIT: As if to prove my point, the comment below is a complete fabrication. I was completely calm during my entire time at the vet. I didn't scream at the tech, and my wife was beside herself when I told her what the cost was going to be. The prices given to her were NOT what we ended up being charged. When the tech called me a liar, my response was a very calm "BS".

We take all 3 of our dogs to this vet. We inquired about neutering our puppy and they scheduled an…read moreappt for bloodwork and exam. At the end of that appt they charged us $322 and told us it would be another $665 at the time of neuter. That is ridiculous they don't give a fee estimate up front. I was able to call Stone Ridge Veterinary clinic and they quoted MUCH less and they were able to quote an estimate BEFORE making me pay a dime. I realize the cost might change a little after they see him, but I doubt it will be over $900. They did allow us to cancel the bloodwork but we still had to pay $68 for an "exam" to be told the total neuter package would be over $900. Bad business and we told them we would be taking all our dogs to a different vet. They were indifferent.

Their prices are very reasonable for a full trim, bath, nails, and everything else, plus I usually grab some treats. It was about $80 for my miniature schnauzer. Other places have charged me anywhere from $100 to $150 without question, and places cheaper than DNW have done some pretty poor work on him. Everything is so expensive now, but their prices feel fair and reasonable. I really appreciate them, and so does Doug, my dog.
