At the end of that appt they charged us $322 and told us it would be another $665 at the time of neuter. That is ridiculous they don't give a fee estimate up front. I was able to call Stone Ridge Veterinary clinic and they quoted MUCH less and they were able to quote an estimate BEFORE making me pay a dime. I realize the cost might change a little after they see him, but I doubt it will be over $900. They did allow us to cancel the bloodwork but we still had to pay $68 for an "exam" to be told the total neuter package would be over $900. Bad business and we told them we would be taking all our dogs to a different vet. They were indifferent.

Just cut June's nails and give her a quick once over and I'll pay the bill. Offer DENIED and bill emailed and texted again! This company cares way more about their billing than they do their animal. They have never inquired about June's health, rescheduling, anything about the animal. All they care about is collecting their money. No thanks, wrong priorities. Plenty of vets in this town.

Had a three day return and let us come early to pick her up which was very nice to have especially since most family's want to bring them back to their home as soon as possible. They are affordable and clearly care for their customers by not price gouging while you're trying to heal. They one with an excellent package for private cremation. My only issue when we were making our plan we had asked for her whiskers in which we were told they would be put her whiskers on a separate cardstock piece. When we arrived to pick up her ashes it seems there was miscommunication and they only snipped two whiskers and placed it in the bag with her fur. I understand mistakes happen but we will never get a part of her that we wanted or have an opportunity for that piece of her ever again.

Knowing that her time was probably drawing near, I did some research on providers of cremation services in my area. I decided I would contact Pets at Peace when the time came. I am so grateful that I did. When we took Molly in, we were warmly greeted by McKenzie and led to a private room where we were able to spend as much time alone with Molly as we wanted to say our goodbyes. We all wrote her messages of love and gratitude, which accompanied her through the process. We had already decided on a private cremation. McKenzie gently guided us through the arrangements. Four days later, we received a call from Rachel that everything for our sweet Molly was complete and ready to be picked up. When we went in later that day, we were greeted by Rachel. She had everything ready for us - Molly's beautifully engraved cedar urn, the mold of her paw, paw prints, and some of her fur (which was a touching and beautiful surprise). I was so, so grateful (and impressed) by the service and compassion we received from Pets at Peace, that I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of compassionate and dignified after life care for a deceased family pet.
