    Daily happy hour on sandwiches!
    Amelia M.

I really wanted to like this place and have decent cuban food not far away. Usually the little hole in the walls are good, but this is an epic failure in a multitude of ways: they advertise specials they don't have and won't honor, the food is bad (rice was bland, tostones have no flavor, the onions on the palomila had way too much vinegar added, and the palomila was overcooked and tough). They also over charge you. I was overcharged by $5, surprise surprise, they don't give you a receipt.

Do not go food 18 dollar for only egg sandwich and a Orange Juice. Overpriced and no service especially if you're not, Hispanic, as if I'm not welcome And on top of that my sandwich was poorly made and I don't know what kind of egg but I throw up and I couldn't get my money back

Tasty food but the pricing is wrong so better ask the price because menu doesn't have pricing as well. Cuban sandwich was tasty and good. Cafe con leche is tasty, Large $5, Medium $3 and Small is $2.50

I've been coming to eat here for at least over 5 years now, the coffee here is definiitely in my top 3 places for Cuban coffee in miami, the food is amazing and authentic, the guy that cooks it is definiitely Ana amazing chief, and the food is at a way more than affordable price. This place is a great little gem, while in the wall secret amazing food, the coffee gives you life, Cuban coffee is life

Was hoping for a good Cuban sandwich today, got what you see. Way too much ham, practically no roasted pork and a measly portion of fries. If this is normal, they need to rethink their concept. My boyfriend and I went here for casual lunch on a random day. Sat outside as the inside seating is currently close Ordered through the window, the staff was cleaning nonstop which I appreciated, extremely nice and welcoming and attentive We ordered two different sandwiches and they were very very good! I'm Cuban and have had a lot of Cuban sandwiches and this one didn't disappoint one bit! The sauces are homemade and we're my favorite!

Lass, Miami Garden's Cuban cafe is definitely evolving. They've changed the appearance of the place since opening. And they have added delivery services in their new Lass Mobile. The food is tasty and I love that they know what I like go order. My only problem with them is they are extremely slow. I'm usually running when I go to Lass. And having to stand and wait cuts into my time. I really would prefer to come here, but because they are slow, it really makes DD across the street far more appealing. Lass if I could give some advice or suggest a recommendation, I would strongly suggest hiring another person for the morning rush so that you could get folks in and out quicker. I think your business would grow leaps and bounds even more.

The steak sandwich was terrible, dry and tasted like nothing . The coffee was okay. I'll definitely won't be back at this place.

The matcha was so watered down though, there was no flavor. I would say the biggest downside is that their service is horrible, and I never complain about service. They completely ignore you if you need something, they are unapproachable and do not make it a nice experience for you. We got a couple drinks to go and the carrier tilted off the counter and spilled one because they didn't see the end of the ledge. They stared at us as if it was our fault, and had a clean and wipe everything until they put out a wet floor sign. It's not common for me to think of a place and only remember how bad their service is and how rude the staff is. I feel like they are just lucky their food is good.

The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn't linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don't tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn't say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn't completely blow my mind, it's still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I'd honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.

It's the kind of place where you can just grab a book off the table and read while you eat, which makes for such a relaxing morning. The coffees are consistently excellent and the food is very tasty. For this visit, I had the Neverland iced coffee and the Golden Tater Tot meal, while my wife had the croissant with Nutella, banana, and strawberries along with the Passionate fruit drink. My sister-in-law opted for the Firehouse breakfast with a pistachio coffee, and everyone was thrilled with their choices. The service is always friendly and welcoming, which is why we keep coming back. I even ended up going back to the counter to grab a strawberry latte to go, and it was surprisingly good--the perfect way to end the meal. It's efficient without feeling rushed, and once you're done, you can just head out. We ordered a honey latte (so good) and a shake, plus two sweet treats and a breakfast croissant to share. Everything felt like a true treat, definitely indulgent. Not something I'd do every weekend, but honestly... I wish I could. The ambiance is stunning. They have a board that shows you the types of bread they have, but they also literally show them to you in 3D form. They are all there in front of you. I chose a Cuban bread with egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was big. I didn't expect it to be so big, and I loved it. Just like the ones my mom used to make when I was a kid. The price for everything rounded up to $13, which was amazing. In other places, $13 is just a coffee or a sandwich, not both. They have this very big bookshelf with a bunch of books that you can read there, or if you want to take one home, you can just leave a small donation. The place feels very cozy, just the vibe you expect from a true coffee shop. Best believe I will be coming back. Hopefully next time I can try a woca latte.
