The best and most amazing experience I've ever had. Well with the money to never have to worry about contacts or lenses again. I work as an Executive for a Fortune 500, global company where I'm in meetings, working long hours, traveling with a laptop etc. Having perfect vision was critical to me. I don't know how I've made it all these years. I'm 36 years old. I had my surgery a week before Christmas and was nervous that I wouldn't be able to shop/feel good. I experienced light sensation right after and a little burning, but that was it. The surgery was painless. All the staff are really sweet, outgoing and nice. You really feel like your in good, blessed, trusting hands. The surgery itself took about 10 minutes. The doctor walked me through each step. I think taking the volume really helped to keep me relaxed and still during the surgery. Once the surgery was finished, they ask you to sleep for 4-6 hours. I laid down for 2 hours, then after 4 hours, started getting ready to go to the mall. The sunglasses really helped with the light sensation. I drove at night with no problem and didn't feel any pain. I'm seeing great one day after, can't believe I just just had surgery, yet feeling so perfect. The doctor is very nice, calm and relaxed: he even calls you after to check on you. I traveled from MI to have my surgery here. If your contemplating where to go and feeling a bit nervous, this is the place that will give you the best care, thorough directions, honest feedback and good treatment. Any calls or questions I had was answered right away, nicely/patiently and I never felt like I was a number. There is a very small feel in the office and it doesn't feel overwhelming, making you nervous as though you're about to have some type of major surgery. One of the prescriptions they gave me wasn't covered by my insurance; they called in another alternative right away with no problem. The best part for me was the price. I mad major astigmatism in both eyes. I was nervous I wouldn't be a candidate or really be able to see after. I paid $3468 total for both eyes, including the few things you have to purchase to take care of your eyes. I had insurance through Aetna and that reduced my cost by $800. It would have been closer to $4100 without the discount. I paid cash and didn't finance because the price was so affordable. Anything in the $3k range was ideal for me. Currently, I'm seeing 20/20. They said they expect the vision to improve as I heal. I'm very happy with my decision. Getting the surgery in 2015 versus years ago, allowed me to benefit from state-of-the art equipment which is why I chose LASIK over other offerings/companies. I think the equipment really helps reduce the pain, improve quicker healing and align overall better vision immediately after. LASIK offers a lifetime guarantee if you need any repairs. You have the surgery, a check in the day after, another about 2 weeks later, then one at 3 months. The only thing you have to do after surgery is put drops in your eye. #simple and easy. I would recommend you get the surgery done on a Friday so you have time to heal, get used to your eyes, the medicine system, take it easy etc. You will be perfect by Monday. I had my LASIK procedure done at the Easton LasikPlus Vision Center three weeks ago yesterday. I now have 20/20 vision and I can't say enough wonderful things about the team at Easton LasikPlus and about the procedure itself. Leading up to the surgery, you need to wear glasses (instead of contacts) for a week. The entire procedure itself takes about 10 minutes. Sure the first part of the procedure is uncomfortable due to pressure (imagine someone pressing on your arm, but instead of your arm, it's your eyeballs!). It's a weird, unenjoyable sensation, but it lasts about 5 seconds per eye. That's it. The laser part is quick and completely painless. The team was very caring and the doctor even called me the night before my procedure and the evening after to make sure I didn't have any questions and that I was feeling OK. They go the extra mile to make their patients feel comfortable. After the procedure, you go home and rest your eyes for several hours and ideally take a nap. I couldn't sleep much because my eyes were pretty uncomfortable (lots of watering and sensitivity), so do yourself a favor and have the Tylenol PM next to your bed. When you wake up from your nap, your eyes will still be sensitive/watery and there's a sensation similar to when you have an eyelash in your eye. It goes away. By the evening of my procedure I could see everything incredibly clearly and the discomfort was mostly gone. I woke up the following morning and my eyes felt wonderful. The eye drops are CRITICAL to prevent infection and swelling, and to keep your eyes moist since you cannot rub them. Sunglasses outside for the first week are a must and you need to wear some really cool shades to bed at night to make sure you don't rub your eyes. So, yeah, three weeks later and I can see perfectly. I use eyedrops a few times each day and am still taking the supplement they give you that is supposed to reduce dry eye. I wish I would have had my LASIK procedure years ago. If you're on the fence, I recommend two things: 1) go to the free consultation and have all your questions answered (you can even watch a procedure taking place if you want!), and 2) ask around; more people than you think have either had LASIK or know a handful of people who have. The best procedure ever for the simple fact 4 hours after the procedure was done I had 20/20 vision... Everything went well from the first consultation through the follow-up exams. I've worn contacts and glasses since I was 13 and 15 years later my eyes could not take them anymore due to the fact I sit in front of a computer all day. So this procedure was everything. During the procedure the suction cup thingy on my eye was unexpected but after Dr. Thomas did the first eye, I was okay during the second eye. The actual laser part you don't feel anything at all. I was nervous the eyelid holder was going to hurt, but my eyes were numb so I did not feel it, literally. Oh and throughout the procedure Dr. Thomas talks to you in this soothing, low, comforting voice, it's like you're in a eye yoga class.(lol) Because of that, you know everything that's happening, and it eased my nervousness. After the procedure, you're fine... It's when you get in sunlight. Whew.... I don't like onions but the whole peeling onions right in your face is the correct analogy. The first hour your eyes has this watery, stinging thing going on, but once you hit your pillow and go to sleep, you'll wake up refreshed. Like I said I went to sleep around 12pm and woke up in time to watch Ellen and I could see the TV clearly!! From the time you walk in, all the smiles you encounter, from Staff and Clients, assure you this is the right place. The CR article gave me all the right questions to ask; LasikPlus passed with flying colors. For 22 years (since I was 3 years old), I wore glasses. Not just your typical glasses, but Coke-bottle glasses. My eyes were really bad. Three months ago, a friend of mine got eye corrective surgery at LasikPlus at Easton in Columbus, Ohio. He said it was the best thing he's ever done. It got me thinking about getting LASIK as well. Three months later, I'm writing this review the day after my procedure. I just want to let everyone know that LASIK is the BEST INVESTMENT I have ever made in myself. My life has been changed. Yes, I'm still healing - there's still some dryness in the eyes, but the eye drops that LasikPlus provided have helped me tremendously. There is some bruising in my eyes from the procedure, but I'm telling people I kicked the crap out of an intruder. I had a standard LASIK procedure performed here in 2021. Only one eye was corrected, the other I didn't notice a difference in change. During a follow up to discuss the eye not being corrected, when I brought up the disappointment, Dr. Seagraves was very rude and aggressive in her response. After some tests, she insisted I don't have a prescription and instead I have medical condition with my eye and I need to get a diagnoses outside of their practice. I requested advice from Dr. Thomas 3 months later, and was quickly told "tell him to wait a few more months", which I knew was BS. After speaking with several doctors in California, a state I later moved to, I've learned that I do have a prescription and Columbus LASIK plus doctors didn't properly diagnose my astigmatism. Two doctors have told me Columbus LASIK misdiagnosed one of my eyes, and I don't have a condition that can't be corrected by laser. The troublesome part about this experience is LASIK Plus refused to work with me on their mistake, rather pushing me away to "find a diagnosis". BE AWARE of this office. They will misdiagnose your vision and push you away if you're not happy with the results. read more

Going to Lasik Plus Columbus was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was so tired of dealing with contacts and glasses, especially during allergy season. But as soon as I sat up from the procedure, I could see! And, the actual procedure itself only took about 15 minutes. Within 6 hours, any discomfort was gone, and I already have 20/20 vision less than 24 hours later! I was on the fence about having this done, but looking back, I wish I would've done this many years ago. I had my procedure done on 12/19/15, less than 3 weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier. If I wake up before my alarm, I can read the time without having to get out of bed. I don't have to worry about falling asleep in bed with my glasses on. There are so many more little things in life I'm able to enjoy now. In fact, one of my Christmas gifts was a pair of non-prescription sunglasses from my daughter - my first in almost 30 years. Everything went exactly as described in the informational packet provided; on the day of my surgery, I was in and out in under 30 minutes, with the actual surgery only taking a few minutes. It was completely painless, just mild discomfort during and for six or so hours afterwards, but totally worth it. Their staff is amazing and very professional. I did a lot of research and checked many places before deciding on this Easton location. At my consultation the nurses and staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions. I was actually a candidate for PRK rather than Lasik (which is just no flap, versus a flap with lasik and has longer down time healing) but my pre-op appointment the day before my surgery showed my eyes had improved with having my contacts out for 10 days and I qualified for Lasik! On surgery day, the staff were so excited to have me there and I was asked repeatedly by several people if I had any questions. In the laser room (which is a glass, so your support person can take pictures) the Dr was very helpful and walks you through everything so there are no surprises. The laser lasts only about 15 seconds per eye and I left that glass room being able to see. I woke up this morning with 20/20 vision! Thank you LasikPlus Easton and all it's staff!!! read more

Drs. Walsh & Thomas are great! They consistently ask if you have any questions and are very helpful. In my first visit I also saw Dr. Cursaro, who fills in occasionally. He was also very helpful and answered all my questions. Dr. Thomas called me the evening before my surgery to see if I had any questions, even! The staff is great & very helpful. Rana & Joe helped me on my visits and were very friendly and full of information. I had monovision surgery done, which is just having the LASIK procedure done on one eye rather than both. My left eye only has a slight astigmatism, so this allows me to see very well without glasses or contacts, and still avoid the dreaded reading glasses. ;-) When that changes, I will DEFINITELY go back and have my left eye done as well. I was very fearful going into this, but the staff and doctors at LASIK Plus eased my fears and got me through it and now I can see!!!! I highly recommend it! read more

I just finished with my follow-up and I officially have 20/20 vision after wearing glasses/contacts for almost 20 years! I could not be happier with the treatment I received from LASIKPlus! First of all, everyone who works here that I encountered was so kind. You can tell they love what they do. The actual procedure was a little uncomfortable, yet so quick, like 5 minutes quick. The next few hours was a bit tough, but that is why you need to try and nap for several hours, or keep your eyes shut. By hour 4 or 5 it's so much easier to open your eyes and go on. Keep up with the eye drops, it makes a difference and helps heal quicker. Today I just had my post op check up, and although it's a little hazy, due to swelling, I can see clearly! My mother received eye correction surgery about 10 years ago and her vision has been 20/20 since. Seeing this really motivated me to look for a good place to get my eyes fixed as well. My nearsighted vision with major astigmatism has been horrible to deal with. Glasses they were so expensive and contacts that were too thick and hurt. I'm now at 24 hours after my LASIK and could not be happier! I'm over 40 so chose monovision. It's just a bit fuzzy while my brain is adjusting to it but I am watching TV and typing on my phone with no problems! I am so happy I did this and the staff here is amazing! They talk you through each step and are super friendly! I love them all but Chelsea is really the sweetest and friendliest of them all, a real asset to this office. The people here are fantastic. They really make the experience pleasant - friendly, professional, etc. They go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. I'm 1 day out from my surgery and I'm not sure how lucky I am but my vision is pretty great. It's already similar to my vision with glasses, with some areas that are still expected to improve. The actual procedure isn't exactly like a great time, but it's not traumatic. It's very quick though - I was in and out of the procedure room in, I think, less than the 15 minutes they said.
