.I had a great experience at this clinic. During the surgery day I had tests redone to prepare me for surgery. The staff was nice and very thorough when conducting these tests and I was glad that the tests were done more than once (they were checked a week earlier as well as a year earlier when I first came for my appointment). I did not have to wait long to see the surgeon, Dr Hakim. He almost seemed to be waiting for me at the end of the line. I met doctor Hakim, who than checked my eyes, he explained my case VERY well and he really put me at ease after talking to him. During the surgery he told me what was going to happen (without going into too much detail), pretty much exactly how much I wanted to know. The surgery took about 5 minutes for each eye and was not too bad other than some pressure. After the surgery Dr Hakim checked my eyes once more and spent some time making sure everything was right. After that I was given some drops while waiting to have my final check with one of the eye care professionals. She said everything went great and it was time to rest. Overall, the office was neat and clean. There is nice décor and even apples to eat although I didn't have one. The Keurig coffee was a nice touch and had a good variety to choose from. My experience was great. The way the clinic runs is very well-done and all of the staff, including Dr Hakim is great! I had my advanced custom wavefront laser eye surgery two weeks ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. The process was smooth and seamless, from the initial consultation to the surgery date, everyone involved was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The clinic staff were great in answering questions, and the waiting areas were very comfortable and relaxing, for both patients and guests. Everything ran very smoothly, from the time you checked in at reception, to the very prompt and on-time consultations. There was no delays from when your appointment was scheduled, to you actually seeing the doctor. The surgeon himself was fantastic. Dr. Hakim kept me completely calm and reassured the whole time during the surgery, and was very friendly and professional. The process itself is completely painless and very fast. Recovery is quick as well, my eyes were back to normal within a day, with the exception of some dryness. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the surprise cost for the eye drops, which were not included in the initial quote. For such a relatively expensive procedure, you would think these should be included in the initial price. Overall, i would, and already have recommended Lasik MD, as the place to go for corrective eye surgery. Dr. Omar Hakim is one of the most talented surgeons I know. Before we started, he took extra time to explain how he prepared and made adjustments to the LASIK procedure so the results would be tailored to my liking. While lying on the operating bed, I could clearly hear him describing what step he was on and reassure me that things were proceeding normally. He warned me before he put drops in my eyes and even gave me a countdown when the laser was applied (took less than 20seconds). Overall, the entire procedure went smoothly and took about 10minutes. Dr. Hakim has my trust and I would recommend him to anyone! My preoperative consultation at LASIKMD went smoothly as well. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't the easiest patient since I had a high nearsighted prescription, but they did all the appropriate tests competently. I was worried about consistency for one of the tests, but was completely reassured after they repeated it a few times at my request. read more

I got laser eye surgery about a month ago, and I can't rave enough about the service at this Lasik centre. From the moment I walked in, I was greeting. All my questions were answered by their friendly staff (reception, eye care professionals and even the surgeon)!! Both my wife and I had our laser eye surgery at Lasik MD. My surgery was perfect. Still 20/20 3 years later. My wife had a little regression and needed a 2nd surgery. Everything was taken care of. Clinically 5 stars. However the front desk didn't seem to have any regard for their patient's time. We scheduled specific appointment times and the receptionist felt that it was more like a bus...first come first serve. I'd give her one star, but since I do not know her name I will leave it at four stars because of the high level of care from everyone else.. read more
