I just moved from New York back to Louisville and was a little nervous about finding a new lash place. It costs a lot less in New York and there are a ton of places to choose from. I found Skye online and went in for a refill. They checked my lashes to see if my New York provider was applying in a similar way. Was happy they were able to work with my current lashes, eliminating the need to remove my current application. My refill took an hour and a half which is a bit longer than I'm used to but the end result was lovely. They stayed on about the same amount of time as my other providers applications have. The technician and friendly and was good at communicating with me around my comfort. I actually had to immediately leave town after for a month so I got a touch up out of town. The person who did my touch up commented on how nicely done my application from Skye was, no overuse of glue, neatly applied. Looking forward to going back when I return home! The only cons i have is the space is relatively cluttered and small but they are going through some restructuring i believe. The location is slightly hard to find, and the initially paperwork is a bit overwhelming and can be alarming to some who are not familiar with lash extensions. Have no fear, I imagine as a small business they are just protecting their investment. They do good work. read more

Amazing experience. They're professional, covid cautious and knowledgeable. It's a comfortable environment. It did take some getting used in regards to the large wooden swinging beds you lay on for the procedure. If you get motion sick you may need an alternative platform. This experience was far better than my first time and it helped that I didn't leave feeling like my eyelids had been glued shut then pried open with spider webs remaining. Worth every $$$ I've had lash extensions for the past year. I just moved to the area so needed a new place. Yes they are a bit pricey but so worth the experience!! From the luxuriously comfortable hanging beds to the plush lounge, the technicians know and truly care about the health of your lashes. I had every intention of taking a nap but ended up laughing and talking with Chloe, my lash expert, the entire time! O and don't forget (my favorite part!) to grab a bag or two of fresh cotton candy!!! read more

Avoid at all cost! I had a bad "free" consultation experience . Had to cancel 24 hours prior to appointment, because of Covid symptoms (back this winter) and got charged $40 for a "free" 10 min consultation that didn't take place. Never heard from them after trying to reach out. read more

Had a very bad experience at another lash place in louisville. They got me in ASAP! My tech stayed late just to give me a new set, it wasn't as full as normal, but I was so happy to have lashes. After one day, many lashes fell off and created huge gaps. A quick text and I'm already in the schedule for a fix, such great customer service!!! An Amazing experience! I wanted to try out lashes, but I wanted to make sure this was done professionally considering the cost and how long they last; it was important to me to have experience and knowledge. First of all the lounge is very soothing and the decor is very transitional with contemporary design. I was amazed at how relaxing it was and how delicate the lash artist was (Jaime), also I noticed that as I lay there with my eyes closed for 2 hours relying mostly on auditory stimulation; the music they have playing is a great mix also adding to my pleasurable experience. I will say that I was there for "a natural" lash look, nothing too long or extreme, when I was finished although my lashes were pretty, they were way too long for me and I was not content with the length. I was able to voice my concern with the owner (Amber) and she worked me back in to remove and correct the look to appear closer to my natural lashes. I LOVE them.. for me the shorter look is beautiful by enhancing my eyes but adding more volume without looking too thick.. this would be a great gift certificate for any woman who wants to try a new look, just be sure to mention that you want shorter lashes if natural is what you are looking for. read more

This was my first time getting my lashes done since COVID and was initially very happy with all the precautions they were taking. However, after I arrived and checked in for my appointment, it took an additional 30 min before the tech was ready to see me. The previous appointment had run over, but rather than tell me that, I was just told to keep waiting. When I was taken back, I asked if this 30 min delay would affect my appointment. And I was assured it would not. Then it was another 30 min of "consultation"/apologies for making me wait, despite my not having any questions and letting the tech know I had gotten my lashes done for years prior to. So we are now 1 hour into my 2 hour appointment and the tech says she doesn't have enough time to do my lashes properly because she has another appointment in an hour. WTF?! So the people scheduled before and after me get treated properly, but not me. Not sure if this was a race thing or just a lack of customer service but what a complete waste of my time. I highly recommend calling before your scheduled appointment to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to you. read more

I visited Skye Lash Lounge on 4/5/2018 for an airbrush tanning service. I knew I was going to love this place as soon as I walked in the door and saw that they have a glitter floor! I believe the person who sprayed me was named Lauren, & I apologize if it was not, but she was FANTASTIC! I expressed to her that it was my first airbrush tanning experience and that I had never had a spray tan either. She walked me through everything and was patient when I asked questions about the process. The salon offers disposable underwear, nose plugs, shower caps, winkies, hair ties, towels and probably a few other items that I have forgotten. The use of these items is optional and it's up to you to decide what to wear during your session. I received a confirmation email the day before my appointment that included parking instructions, which was super helpful since this salon is located in a busy section of Frankfort Ave. I will definitely be making a return to this salon for future airbrush tanning visits! read more

Vey unprofessional. I've been in 3 times, spent over $300, each time, being promised that the results would be different. I've been getting lash extensions for 7 years, moved, and needed somewhere closer. The lashes ALL fall off within a few days. When I asked about a refund, because that would be the fair thing to do, she threatened to get her 'lawyers involved'. And told me that it was MY FAULT that they all fell off. This was a terrible experience at the Lashtastic Salon with Chloe and then Bailey. The lashes fell out by morning with puffy lids and itching. I made contact as soon as I realized they were all coming out. Then by mid day when they were all gone and I was confronted by other women that said, "you got ripped off" I called back and said this is not working out, please just refund my money. I was embarrassed at work and that I had to call again. Bailey was point blank, no refund. I was requested to prove that the lashes were gone and my eyelids were irritated. I went back into Lashtastics where Bailey told me that I had to fill out their paperwork and be touched by Chloe again. I said no and they told me I can leave and there would be nothing else they can do for me and no refund. I was violated by Chloe as I asked her not to put patches under my eyes but she refused my plea and did it anyway. Chloe states she was not a doctor but she said I had no irritation. I asked for ingredients and was told I could print that off myself. Once I did everything they said I had to to prove myself. The owner text me and said since I was such a problem there would be no refund the only recourse for me is for lashes to be re applied and I only had 7 days to do this. I don't want the lashes from the last results, but they won't give me my money back. I have called twice, sent text and Instagram to make contact today and they now will not respond. Down 244.00for lashes and a co pay for doctors visit for my eyes. The three girls surrounded me as I sat there and bullied me as if I were a criminal! This over lash extensions.
