It's been two weeks since Jennifer did a tint and lash lift on my lashes. How did I never know about lash lifts?! My lashes look AMAZING and I haven't had to put mascara on at all!!!! I love how I can treat my lashes normally. I tend to rub my eyes and also sleep on my face. My lashes are still perfect! The process was about an hour and completely pain-less. It felt like Jennifer was just brushing my lashes. I didn't have to do anything special like avoid water or anything. If you don't want to do fake lashes and want a more natural look that is practically maintenance free, I highly recommend a lash lift. The only thing I do is brush my lashes in the morning and evening with a clean spoolie because they are so long. It has been a little over two weeks since I had a set of natural volume lashes. I consider Jennifer a Lash Plastic Surgeon, given not only the esthetic appeal of her work, but the superior quality and longevity of my lashes and her clean, meticulous technique. Since getting my lashes, I have washed my face, showered, done hot yoga, and even gone through a DIY brunette to blond transformation (ie lots of bleaching and chemicals on my head yikes...) and my lashes are still hanging on strong. I have lost a couple because I accidentally rubbed my eyes, but even when I sleep sideways or work out hard (or other intimate activities!), I know I can rely on them to still be there and look beautiful. Another thing that stood out to me about Jennifer, is her willingness to give you exactly what you want. I provided her with photos of my desired look (very natural but still full and sexy) and she delivered exactly that. I have never seen the technique she uses to add volume to your lashes (three strands in one) or her lash mapping to ensure balanced, geometric symmetry, anywhere else. Furthermore, she has great energy and confidence. It's clear she has dedicated true creative passion to her work on lashes. Most importantly to me, they are comfortable and sexy, while still looking NATURAL (yay!). The only drawback for me was, a bit pricey for the first application but, honestly it's worth the investment and it reflects her technique and expertise. I have nothing but one word for Jennifer and her skills - AMAZING!! If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!! I know her prices are not cheap but if you want guaranteed quality service, comfortable and absolutely beautiful lashes that will stay as long as it is suppose to (3-4 weeks) then you MUST go to Jennifer. How I found Jennifer.... I did not know about Jennifer until I was 2 weeks from my refill and 4 weeks from originally full set from another Novalash advance certified person. I was due to go back to my other Novalash expert but my lashes kept twisting into my eyes, poking my eyeball despite my regular brushing (I brushed them in AM and PM) to the point where I wanted to rip some of them out, they felt heavy, weren't really visible from front (only from side), and I kept losing at least 2-3 lashes each day. I also felt like my lashes were not evenly filled from 2 weeks ago and I didn't want to return and pay for another poor quality refills. SO, I went on Yelp and Google and looked for other Novalash certified experts and I stumbled into Jen. She has a website that tells you all about her years of experience. What caught my attention was "Lash Disaster" section that showed her previous clients she was able to help. I felt like I could be one of them too. She has been Lash Extension Expert for 9 years now I felt like she was very experienced and skilled to help my sensitive eyes. Not only Novalash but she is expert in other types of lashes too - Russian, Extreme, etc. Making an appointment with Jennifer... I called the phone number on her website and left a message requesting to make an appointment. She called me back within 1 hour and really took her time to ask me - how I found her, what is my experience with lash extensions, what type of lashes I have now, when was my last fill, who did I go to for my lash extension experience, what my expectation is, what is my reason/goal for seeking out another lash extension expert, etc.. I felt like she asked many questions and realized I have not been asked those questions before by my other Novalash expert. I felt like I was in good hands even before meeting her in person. My session with Jennifer... Spa Central is located on York Road and it looks somewhat like a residential apartment. When you arrive, there is a "call button" on your left side of door that you can press to let yourself in. Another tip when you arrive is make sure you text Jennifer to let her know you have arrived because she most likely has a client before you and she tends to allow extra time and attention to each client as much as she can. Before starting, she asked me in more details about my lash experience, what I can expect from her, and what/how lash extensions are suppose to be like for me (easy, light, beautiful, enhancing, and worth the $). She had to fix my lashes that broke my natural lashes from pulling, twisting, and excess glue. My natural lashes are thin and short and I was told that the lash extensions I had were too heavy and the curls were not opening my eyes. I had some lashes that were literally glued to my eyelid which is a big nono and that's why my eyes were hurting and I kept tearing up. It took 1.5 hours for Jennifer to remove all the wrong lashes and fill my eyes allover again. What I REALLY LOVED was that Jennifer is also a Reiki master and throughout the whole 1.5 hours, I fell asleep because I couldn't even feel her attaching new lashes. She said this happens quite often and that she puts her hand on my forehead to stabilize my head and make sure I don't move so I don't get hurt. I really really enjoyed my session with Jennifer. She is really knowledgeable, fast, and really good at what she does. Because she is experienced in at least 3 different lashes, I think she gets creative and makes sure she uses lash extensions that are more appropriate for each individual's lashes not just one brand. It is true; she is not cheap. But I don't think she is the most expensive Lash Extensionist either. I love the lashes she gave me and I look forward to next 3 weeks when I will return for my next fill!!! She also gives you a bag of kit and instructions on how to take care of your lashes. She also asks that if I have any questions at all, I can contact her at any time. She is awesome!! read more

Wow. Lashmajick is a lifesaver! Two days I go, I decided to take the big leap and try out lash extensions for the first time. I had received extensions from another lash technician that were nice, but not what I had asked for (natural, similar to my existing lashes just a bit more enhanced). The lash extensions that were installed where entirely too long and obvious for my personal liking and for my career. I tried to get these extensions off at home by researching at-home methods and failed. After two days of trying, I decided to seek professional help and found Lashmajick. I called Jennifer in the afternoon and she was able to assist me that same day. She could hear the discomfort in my voice as I explained that I wanted the lashes removed before I had to return to work the next day. I know I am very particular and have allowed only a select few touch my eyelashes. There are salons that appear to be clean and will tell you anything to get the sale. Hands down, Jennifer is THE BEST at what she does - I've had Novalash extensions done by 4 or 5 different people over the last couple of years, and my lashes LOOK THE BEST and LAST THE LONGEST when she does them - my lash growth is never compromised, and her lash extensions remain bonded to individual lashes pushing up to 2 months. (I've had the occasion where I've gotten a quick and cheap fill from someone other than Jennifer and watched as those very same extensions started to fall off the same night.) Her technique is exceptionally gentle and meticulous. I've also never had any other stylist maintain an asceptic (sterile/clean) technique the way Jennifer does - she keeps safety and wellness as top priorities.
