This was my first time experiencing this lash technique. When I first visited for my full set the atmosphere was strikingly that of a doctor's office, but just a couple of steps up. Davius was the young lady that worked her lash magic. The process was surprisingly relaxing. I found myself going to sleep a couple of times. I did not feel anything. I can't even tell that I have lashs on. I got so many compliments on them. It take about 1to3 hours depending on how thick you want them. Mine lasted for about three weeks. I washed my face as normal,sleeped as normal and put on an took off makeup as normal. They feel just like they are my own lashs. I LOVE THEM. DO TRY YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. OK, I'm addicted I can admit. Once you start wearing these lashes you get HOOKED, especially when your husband responds generously :-) I think all of us who get lashes can attest to not loving the process, but the end result is pretty freaking awesome! April was my go to girl, but she has since left for another salon. I think anyone you go to here will do a fantastic job for you. It's tucked away in an office building across the street form Sports Authority (Northlake Mall). Atmosphere is very clean (always a plus) and professional. I used to be a regular customer of this establishment. It is a nice office space and the owner seems nice. But, it seems that the owner has hired unprofessional people which has tarnished the company. I am totally dissatisfied with my experience and my eyelashes are hard and brittle. The unwelcoming, green haired receptionist had her toddler running through the lobby during each visit. Also, DON'T GO TO DEVON. Devon arrived late to my appointment and led me to her area without washing her hands. She only rubbed sanitizer on her hands. Devon also dropped lash tools on the floor and attempted to reuse them on me. Also, I noticed a bottle of hair glue after Devon finished my lashes which isn't supposed to be used on your eyes. She said that she didn't use it on me. I refuse to return and I plan to report them to the State Licensing board. read more

I have been too many times to count. My go-to tech is usually Miya and I have recently had Davius. They both are very professional and do great work. I first found out about this place from Groupon and have literally been hooked since. My hubby loves them and I always get compliments on them. The process is comfortable as long as you're okay with someone in your personal space as they will need to be close to your eyes. When I received my first full set it took 1.5 to 2 hours so make sure you plan accordingly. I usually come back for fill-ins every 2 to 3 weeks with good care. The office is tastefully decorated and almost has a spa-like feel which is totally the opposite of what I expected when I arrived to the building. First, the positive. The office is really lovely and everyone who works there is SO delightful, sweet, lovely in every way. Great atmosphere and everyone is clearly happy to be there. Everything seemed so clean and professional. The price is really a great deal and my aesthetician spent an hour longer applying lashes than I thought my coupon entitled me to, so I think she was being generous. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of their lashes or application. They were too big and long for my deep-set eyes. The synthetics are very stiff and pokey, which I found irritated my eyelids and poked my eyebrows. During the procedure my eyes started to burn, so they gave me a chance to blink--but I couldn't because they'd glued both eyelids shut. I got a lot of compliments on the lashes so I know they looked really pretty to other people, but I had them removed after 2 weeks because they bugged me so much. Unfortunately the removal left my eyelashes sparse and chewed-up-looking, so I won't be going back for fear or damaging my natural lashes. This place is probably worth trying if you want a good deal and don't mind the stiff synthetic lashes, just be very specific about what you want (especially if it's a natural look, which is what I should have asked for) and don't freak out if your eyelids get glued together, just tell your aesthetician so she can gently help you open them. And be aware of the gamble--they say it won't damage your natural lashes but it could. read more

This business is located inside of an office park building, so if you've never been here before I'd suggest arriving a little early so that you'll have time to find it before your appointment. Also, upon checking in you'll have new client forms to sign, so this is another good reason to arrive a few minutes early. The space is beautifully & tastefully decorated, & smells amazing. It has a very serene atmosphere, with a spa-like feel, & makes the reception area a very enjoyable place to wait for your technician. I purchased a Groupon for a full set service here as a treat for myself for my birthday. It was very reasonably priced, & checking out at the end of my service was quick & easy. You also have the option to tip using your credit card or with cash. It took about 2 & a half hours for my lash set, & was a very easy & enjoyable experience. I must say that beforehand I'd had apprehensions about getting lash extensions after hearing horror stories of people's eyes being glued shut, & various other problems. My technician Michele was very gentle in her application, & made me feel comfortable. I actually fell asleep on the table & got a great nap! The final result was very pretty, fluttery looking lashes that weren't too long & heavy looking, but a step above natural looking, just as I'd asked for. The only thing that I didn't like about my service was a small amount of glue on my left eye that was left from a pair of strip lashes that I had been wearing the night before; I thought that I'd gotten all of the glue off & came to my appointment with no mascara on, but apparently I'd missed a small spot, & my technician didn't remove the leftover glue, she just did my lash set around it. I wish she would have removed that bit of glue, but my lashes still looked pretty, & other than that I was pleased with everything else. I tipped 34% of the cost of my Groupon & left happy. I would return here, & just tell people to make absolutely sure that there's no mascara, glue, or anything else on your lashes before your service. read more

I've been getting my lashes done for several months now, since moving to Atlanta from Los Angeles. When I first got here, I went to a place that did an OK job. However, their prices were outrageous for the result I received. Then I stumbled across Lashes Couture. An extraordinarily beautiful woman named Mervat started doing my lashes and she is incredible. Her prices are fair AND she does an EXCELLENT job. It's obvious she takes pride in what she does. I always leave Lashes Couture (& Mervat) feeling beautiful. The lashes they use are very stiff and brittle. If you're going for a natural look don't go here! They look really cheap and fake, as if you got them done at the nail salon. I had them for about 3 days before I decided to go somewhere else and pay $30 to have them taken off, also the technician I had was very unfriendly! Overall it was a horrible experience! read more

I should have rated Lashes Coutour a long time ago. I have been coming here to get my lashes done for almost six months now and my stylists are amazing. I had Myia initially, but she left and then I switched to Lisa. They really listen to their clients and the whole experience is very comfortable. It did itch a little when I first got the lashes, but you get used to it. I try to go back for a touch up every three weeks and the lashes stay long and beautiful. I highly recommend it! read more

I will start by saying my lash artist Leticia was great. Amazing and kind. I was on a conference call while my lashes were being done and she was understanding and helpful when I needed to end the call. My issue are the lashes used, my coworkers and friends who wear lashes they are soft and look real. The ones they use at this location are dry and brittle and don't look very natural.
