Megan and her instructor Miranda together mapped out my eyebrows and made sure I was happy with the plan before they started. Megan had such a light hand during the entire process. I went to Mur Salon for what was supposed to be a consultation and left with hair that has been so…read moreheavily texturized that I can barely style it. My hair was past my shoulders and medium length, and now it will take months for the excessive texturizing to grow out. What was most disappointing was the response when I brought in a photo of the style I wanted. I showed the stylist the photo again and expressed my concerns. She laughed and said, "That girl has long hair." My hair was already past my shoulders, so that explanation made little sense. A skilled stylist should be able to adapt a cut to a client's hair and create a style that grows into the desired look. Instead of feeling heard, I felt dismissed. The end result was nothing like what I requested, and I am now left dealing with the consequences of an overly texturized hair. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon.
