He clearly explained my options and the associated costs, and the repair was completed on Monday, December 2, 2025. I'm grateful to have heat in my home again. I figured out why when I got an email right after the guy left with *36* photos and videos of my system. First time they ever did that. Overkill, much? That same week I had one of their guys out to give me a quote on a fairly significant plumbing project. I've never used Waggoners for plumbing, but this is a big enough job I wanted to get more than one quote on it, and it seemed like a thing to do. The gentleman came to my house, I showed him what I had in mind, we discussed options, and he said he would put together an estimate for me and get back to me. Days and days went by, and I had just about given up on hearing from them, when the guy contacted me that he had my estimate ready. He came to my house and walked me through it and it seemed reasonable. I asked him to please send me a copy of the quote by email, and he said he would do that. He left me a catalog to peruse, and said he would be back to pick it up in a couple of days. I told him I'd be happy to send it back with their A/C tech who was coming the next day, but he said no, he didn't trust that he would get it back if I did that. Readers, I never heard from him again. I never got the quote. He never picked up the catalog (which, btw, had NOTHING to do with the work I was asking for). I don't know what to think. I have a service contract for another HVAC maintenance, and I'll probably go through with that, but if things don't get better, I'll probably be moving on. It's a shame.

This is a horrible company. They are either completely incompetent or crooked, maybe both…read more My wife signed up for a seasonal system inspection, paid over $600 and they did nothing. They said they changed the air filters, they did nothing. A month later we called them back to check a non functioning heater. Three trips and 1000.00 and it still didn't work. We called Americare, one of their competitors, they fixed the problem in 5 minutes and for $200. They are the ones that showed us that none of the filters had been changed. Beware of using Alameda, they are ripoff artists.
