I notice many reviews are 3+ years old, I can only assume a possible change in management. Please trust, give this salon a try! I am new to having a scheduled wax maintenance. I stumbled upon this salon when searching for local salons and booked an appointment online. Booking was easy and communication reminding me of my appointment was timely. The day of my first appointment, I was asked to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out new client paperwork. Once the paperwork was complete, I was guided to my room. My waxologist explained everything to me and stepped out for me to get ready. Once she returned, she guided me every step of the way through my wax. She was kind and patient understanding this was my first. The experience was great and the results were excellent. Immediately after my appointment was finished, I scheduled my next appointment and created a timely cycle that fit my needs. Overall, I have visited this salon more than a few times and every experience has been perfect. I highly recommend Radiant Waxing as your go to wax bar in Winston!

I scheduled a waxing appointment in February, but I was not assigned to the wax specialist I had…read morespecifically requested. As a result, the service I received was unsatisfactory. The staff acknowledged the issue and told me I could reschedule with my preferred wax specialist. Unfortunately, I had to travel out of town before I was able to do so. To date, I have not received a refund or credit for the remaining balance of the service. Additionally, I was treated disrespectfully throughout the process. The director, Khadijah contacted me and, rather than working to resolve the matter professionally, attempted to argue with me about my concerns. She initially offered me a promotional service at another location to make up for the experience, but later withdrew that offer, stating she could not honor it. It appeared that the decision was made out of spite rather than as part of a fair resolution. Overall, I am disappointed with how this situation was handled. I expected professionalism, accountability, and appropriate customer service, but instead experienced poor communication, disrespect, and an unresolved issue.

My mother and friends can't wait to come visit me in Winston so they can make an appointment with Shannon. I have referred a co-worker and people in my building only to have them say they wished they had been her client their whole adult lives. No warnings, no distractions...it was truly what nightmares are made of...so Shannon's attitude and methods make it a much easier process. I'm very glad I found Cherita through Yelp. I was very pleased with my waxing experience. She is very knowledgable in her craft & is very personable, which makes getting a Brazilian much less awkward. Her prices are already very reasonable so I was glad to find that she offered a Groupon for 3 waxes for the price of 1. The only problem I have is her mapped location on Yelp. The address is correct but using the Yelp directions will take you to downtown Winston-Salem. Her location on Google Maps is correct so use them to get your directions. She is located in the back of a home-turned-office in the lower levels. If you go into Street View on Google Maps, you will get the image of the location & see the driveway on the right side. Just drive down there, park on the left & enter the first door you see. There will be another immediately after that & her studio is on the right.
