They blew through the insurance money that we needed to use to feel better in a matter of a few visits. Most states ban these "dual rate" claims. I started going to waterside about 2 months ago. I have probably visited the office about six or…read moreseven times. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean although adjustments are done in a common area and not in a private exam room. They office is run like a corporate chain and not as an individual proprietorship. No one at the local office appears to be a decision maker/owner. As such all decisions are corporate like, rigid, and by the book with no consideration for compromise. I tried to negotiate a more reasonable cost since my insurance does not cover chiropractic care. They were unwilling to budge, which is there right. They are upfront with their charges, but they will nickel and dime you for every ache and pain you request a treatment for. They'll charge you for therapy and each and every adjustment. They will not adjust anything without an x-ray. I have seen multiple chiropractors over my lifetime. All of them included therapy and basic adjustments for a flat fee. To give you an idea on cost At this facility I was quoted $70 for a second visit which includes 15 minutes of ultrasound, a basic neck and back adjustment. For comparison purposes, I have previously paid about $40-$45 for the exact same service. In my opinion they are way overpriced and I have found better options locally for the $40-$45 range for the same services. I would give them 4 stars for care and friendly staff at this location. I give them two stars for their high fees. This is my justification for a three star rating. I'm disappointed that I'm out my initial visit exam fee and have to double pay for this at a new provider. If you're reading this review I would suggest that you call around before settling on this practice.
