HOLY CRAP BUYER BEWARE. To be completely , let me begin by saying I've been coming to LaserAway for years for my Botox and absolutely have loved nearly every injector that I've had here and have been very happy with my results. I've been lucky that the timing has aligned that when I'm running low, they're usually offering a "bank" deal (and their deals are great!) so I'll spend $1500 or $2200 at a time but that will last me for a good period. Now, I'm due for a treatment and moving soon, so I wanted to use up the end of my 'Tox bank and add a few extra units at full price to get to my typical treatment without re-upping another full bank until I know where I'm moving. As it turns out, ladies...they do NOT sell individual units! Laseraway has a policy of a minimum spend of $300 in units, even when paying full price, so that you will ALWAYS have money on the table with them. A classic ScamCity move. I'm shocked-I know this is a chain and a corporation so they don't really care, but I had taken them as such an honest company and I'm totally blown away. In the end, they win I guess, as I can't imagine continuing my relationship with this company after this. I think a smaller medspa or solo aesthetician is the way to go. read more

LaserAway -- Extremely Disappointed & Misled I strongly regret not doing more research before purchasing a tattoo removal package from LaserAway. Please read other online reviews and Instagram comments .. I wish I had. I paid $2,094 for what was advertised as a 10-session package. This isn't a discounted rate by any means, but I made the mistake of assuming their services would be professional and thorough. What they fail to disclose is that they only use topical numbing, which does very little for the pain associated with laser tattoo removal , especially since the laser penetrates beneath the skin. After suffering through four incredibly painful sessions, I couldn't continue. I requested a refund for the unused sessions and was flatly denied. Even more frustrating: when I asked about injectable numbing (which is standard practice at many reputable clinics), they claimed they don't offer it, despite the fact that they provide injectables like Botox and fillers at their locations. When I brought this up, the representative I spoke to was dismissive and rude, even making an ignorant remark like, "I don't know which country they would do that," a ridiculous statement, considering many U.S. clinics do. To add insult to injury, other reputable providers offer injectable numbing and the same service for half the price. LaserAway's practices feel deceptive at best and exploitative at worst. I've heard that a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT may be underway against them for these very issues ..and I will be exploring that option myself. IDK if the nurse was newer or just overdid it, but she put too much botox in my right forehead and my eyelid is clearly drooping. Nothing you can do to fix that except for wait it out. Honestly I didn't start seeing results until my 8th treatment (a LatinX lady I met there told me to stick it out to see results). I'm glad I listened. I specifically asked for an experienced RN to inject me, when I was brought into the room, I asked the nurse how much experience she had with wrinkle reducing injections, her answer was one year (not experienced)! As a fellow RN, please don't insult me by letting a nurse with only one year of experience inject me after I asked for an experienced nurse. Since she only has one year as an injector, I asked her to please be careful and to not droop my eyelids, I told her that it has happened one time to me, which was horrible. I've given it a few weeks and my left eyelid is heavy, very noticeable compared to my right and I can feel the heaviness. I haven't called because during our conversation, she kept asking me if I wanted to bank any of my units, after asking why? She told me I need to bank units for any touch ups or mistakes made. I'm not new to injectables, any reputable business will have the patient come back in and they make it right, no charge to the patient. Four separate occasions they somehow did not have my appointment in their schedule, despite me rebooking at the front desk every time I was there. To pay for treatments, they have you sign up with one of two companies--either u360 or PatientFi. Both are money scammers. I came in for a Botox touch up and the nurse messed up my eyebrows. This company charges 17.00 per unit (surgeon price) and I got botched. I called for a full refund because I didn't trust them to Fix it and they said no refunds. They said this is very common. I have gotten botox for over 15 years and this has never ever happened to me. Not common. To think about it they train nurses fresh out of school who have no skills and maybe they inject a few of their Friends and then they are certified to Inject their customers. Which I get it they have to gain the experience and learn but don't charge 17.00 unit maybe charge 9.00 since your nurses don't have the exp. PROTENZA MICRONEEDLING PROCEDURE: Where do I begin. Cannot express enough how wonderful of an experience I had here for the first time. The ladies are amazing. They are super friendly and welcoming. The walk through procedure (do's and don't) was explained beforehand via email. Prep (numbing), time was about 10-15 minutes. Once the prep was over the procedure actually took about 45 minutes. Laser Away has turned into an absolute scam. I purchased a package to removed a tattoo, showed up for my appointment and the machine broke as she was starting my treatment. The front desk offered to comp me a session, great, but also said they would call me when the machine was fixed. 5 days later, no call. So I have called to cancel my package and I was told I have to wait for a call back. Three days later, no call backs I followed up and I was told I still have to wait. Not to mention, still no word from the location that was supposed to let me know when the machine was fixed. They still have my money and have provided zero services. I've meant to write this review for a long time. This is more of a warning about laser away. I've had laser hair removal, tattoo removal, and Botox done at this location. I bought a full package of laser hair removal and some additional sessions. I started right before the pandemic began and it disrupted my schedule since they shut down for a bit. When I started back up I noticed that it was really working. I kept the schedule and did it every 4-6 weeks. My second to last session, I began questing the nurse. She had the setting on low because laser away has a 'summer' setting policy. Their defense is that they don't want hyper pigmentation, which I totally understand, but they never even tried the stronger setting. This 'summer setting' works well for their business model because it's not as effective and you have to keep buying more sessions to get the results you want. It was so frustrating. I felt totally played. In addition to that, I was getting Botox and it wasn't working well as other places I had gone. I was getting the same units. I did this a few times at Laser away. Finally, after the hair removal situation, I went somewhere else. They did the same amount of units and I was completely frozen. Don't trust this place. They are just robbing people. read more

I have had the absolute BEST experience going to Laseraway for my hair removal needs (and I even got some botox - I have LOVED my results with that too!) Lacey M. helped me at the Santa Monica location and she is outstanding. She walked me through all of my options and helped me narrow down my treatment plan based on my goals. I have psoriasis and was so over shaving because it hurt my skin and she was so patient helping me figure out the best plan of action! Her level of customer service has made me very excited for my services. Will update review after sessions. Update: after one session I no longer have that 5 o'clock shadow on my armpits that I have always had even on the day I shave. Also my leg hair is suuuuper thin (full disclosure I got one pass done on my legs YEEEARS AGO).
