I have had laser hair removal twice and it's been wonderful both times, I am excited to continue my treatments here. Both times I have been seen immediately, literally as soon as I walk in while I'm checking in at the receptionist desk. The first time was with Ashley, she's extremely sweet and everything was very easygoing. The second time I saw Trezlyn, who's extremely outgoing and can hold conversations very well. It distracted me from the coldness of the air, (I felt basically no pain!). Overall, I was very iffy because of the pricing at first, but so far it's been worth it & such a pleasant experience. I have had IPLs over the last 15 years ...usually a series of six sessions every 2 to 3 years... It always hurts.... again I repeat.... it always hurts!..Today I went into Laseraway and was treated by Trezlyn... She was amazing! DO NOT COME HERE! I came here for an consultation for laser hair removal, I was running behind for work came during my lunch break. Called no answers. Came anyway. Get there and no ones there to greet, I waited at least 5mins and then had to walk back to find someone. Filled in tablet registration pretty fast. Then waited for another 10mins just to be seen. My experience at LaserAway has been overwhelmingly positive thus far. I started going to LaserAway after moving to Houston about a year and a half ago. Appointments have been easy to schedule and the hours are convenient. The schedule books up quickly so be sure to schedule your appointments well in advance especially if you are busy. In terms of the service, my last few visits have been with Trezlyn and she is great! She is kind and caring and takes her time during the service so you are not left feeling rushed. She also continuously checks in on how you are doing to make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are very clean which is a plus. My only complaint, I have had some issues with my purchases and schedule changes but these issues have always been quickly resolved. I would highly recommend LaserAway! read more

The two stars goes entirely to the technicians. They are friendly, professional and thorough. They offer guidance based on how far along you are in your treatment. The sales women in the front are a different story. Just expect to be sold the same product that you've repeatedly expressed you don't need or want each and every time. That doesn't even bother me. I'm in sales too, and even though the intrusive, hard sale approach is dated and ineffective, I still understand they're just doing their job. What I do find offensive is their disregard for the customers time. I came in and no one was even at the front desk to check me in. Then a rather rude woman finally emerges from the back and says that they may not be able to accommodate me bc I'm late. Previous to this I have always been on time or early. Even then I would be forced to sit in a lobby and small talk with the sales rep for 10-15 minutes that will inevitably lead to a sales pitch of the same things I've repeatedly said I don't want or need. I guess the woman was mad that she didn't have the opportunity to make a sale. What's even worse is that the very lovely and sweet technician who tended to me later apologized for being late that morning. So what is this bs about not being able to accommodate me when the tech wasn't even there?! It's evident that the sales team has absolutely no problem wasting your time and making you wait in the lobby to endure a sleazy sales pitch, but god forbid you are a minute late for an appointment. I hate giving businesses bad reviews online, but unfortunately LaserAway (at least this one in the Galleria area of Houston) needs to be exposed before more people lose several hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. I can only speak on the "Clear & Brilliant" treatment and not on any of the other treatments. However, I do hope their other offerings are more effective than what I received. Furthermore, in the future I hope they employ more honest business practices as well. The reason I sought their services was due to a recent scar (hyper-pigmentation) caused by a skin infection on my face. I told them that this scar was my primary concern and they quickly recommended the Clear & Brilliant treatment. When they showed me the price I scoffed initially because I only needed a small scar treated. They then said the treatment only works if they do my entire face. The only reason I agreed to do the treatment is because they said it was effective on African-American skin AND would take care of ALL the other hyper-pigmentation spots on my face and not just the recent one I was most concerned about. With that information I agreed. After two slightly painful treatments, I'd spent enough money to buy a new iPhone. Not only did the Clear & Brilliant treatment fail to improve my hyper-pigmentation scar and spots, some of them actually got DARKER. After the 1st treatment, it was then I was told it may take up to 3 treatments to "start seeing effects". I was annoyed by this as I had initially purchased a 3-treatment package. After the 2nd treatment with no good results I was told "it takes at least 6 treatments to start seeing effects". By this point I feel like I am in a trap and I want out fast. The whole time I was also using supplemental spot removing creams recommended by the staff. After all the above, you might wonder why I even go back for the 3rd treatment but I went to discuss changing the treatment to something given what I was experiencing. Well, the day of my 3rd treatment it was raining and I was exactly eight minutes late. They told me they couldn't take me in and had to reschedule my appointment. This is irritating because in my first two appointments they made me wait at least 10 minutes in the lobby past my appointment start time. It just felt like since they had my money, and likely saw I wasn't going to be a repeat customer, that they didn't care how I was treated after that. Anyhow, I wouldn't recommend LaserAway to anyone. I am still searching for a solution to my hyper-pigmentation and scar blemishes if anyone has any recommendations. read more

The reception staff was friendly and helpful and lobby area was clean and the extra care they gave at check-in made me feel at ease. Since they have multiple locations, easily transferable to any location if you are on a move. Laser technology has come a long way! I first had laser hair removal about six years ago on my underarms and it was uncomfortable and made me feel like I wouldn't even explore having it anywhere else on my body. Flash forward to 2019 and Kerri with LaserAway was comforting, kind, and informative from the minute I walked in the door. I ended up signing up for a package to treat my underarms, legs, and bikini lines. I also decided to treat myself to a little 30-eraser on my forward. I felt comfortable because everyone who administers treatment at laseraway is either a nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician's assistant. I knew that I was in good hands and I would have good results! I went in for my first appointment today and Kathy and Morgan took amazing care of me. Kathy did my laser hair removal. It was quick and relatively pain free. There is a chiller on the laser, so the heat of the laser dissipates quickly. Any anxiety I had walking in was resolved by the time I walked out. Kathy is awesome and I look forward to seeing her in another 6 weeks. :) Morgan took care of my Botox, both consultation and adminstration. She was informative and reassuribg. 1 star is too generous. I have been rescheduled by them repeatedly. The treatment is fantastic, but unfortunately the professionalism and basic business skills are thoroughly lacking. However, a great treatment is only useful if you can actually use the package. I have once been scheduled for a time and shown up on time and been told I was late (which according to my confirmation texts were false). I was also called an hour before and cancelled on. Then when a refund was requested was told they would get back to me, and when I called again was informed the request was never made. Save yourself the money and headache, because no package is useful when you can't be seen. read more
