I've had 3 areas done and I can't believe how well it's worked. Besides that, I find everyone who works there really helpful and thorough, they don't take risks and always double check everything with you and as a result I've never had a bad side effect. My only 'but' is that the receptionist can be a bit surly, but last few times I've been there there was a much nicer woman so no issues there. Lastly, if you're thinking of doing more than one area, might be worth chatting with the consultants as it's much cheaper to do 2-3 areas at the same time.

I no longer go to Therapie Clinic because of the way they handled my very first laser appointment…read more I paid in full for a laser session and attended my appointment on time. Before the treatment started, I informed the consultant that I had returned from holiday the previous week. She advised that, for safety reasons, it would be better to wait another two weeks before having the treatment. I appreciated the advice and agreed to postpone the session. The consultant and reception staff told me that rescheduling would be straightforward and advised me to contact the Hello customer service team. However, when I did, I was told that I could not reschedule my appointment and would have to pay for another session. This policy had never been communicated to me in my booking confirmation, reminder emails, or over the phone. To make matters worse, my appointment was marked as a "no-show/cancelled", even though I attended on time and was assessed by the consultant. When I called customer service to explain what had happened, the representative was rude and eventually hung up on me. In the end, Therapie Clinic took my payment, did not provide the treatment, refused to reschedule my appointment, and refused to issue a refund. I was left paying for a service I never received, despite following the advice given by their own consultant. The entire experience was handled with a very low standard of customer service and professionalism. The lack of communication, inconsistent information, and unwillingness to resolve the issue fairly have completely undermined my trust in Therapie Clinic. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

The 'therapist' did not seem to know what I wanted/paid for. i.e. she did not know how much hair to remove. If you do buy a voucher for this place I recommend you try to get a refund. If you haven't bought a voucher and are considering going here then just drop into the mall for your patch test first. Then you will see that these reviews are not an exaggeration!

I can't say enough about this clinic. I have suffered from acne for years and as anyone else who suffers with the same, will completely understand my story. I spent years going to different clinics, trying every cream, tablet, lasers treatments, facials, the works, but all it done was caused me discoloured skin and no cure for the scarring that affected not just by physical well being but also my emotional. It took over my life making me feel horrible and never good enough. It affected everything I seemed to do, held me back in relationships and social circles. After another failed laser treatment in a clinic in Dublin I gave up. I felt very depressed and tried to accept that it is what it is, until a colleague I worked with suggested the laser and skin clinic. I was apprehensive at first then decided what the hell what have i to lose. To say the clinic have given me back my life is an understatement, the staff were extremely emphatic to my skin condition and couldn't have been anymore helpful or down to earth. Anna was the girl who carried out my treatment. It was advised the best way to tackle the problem was to try a course of microdermabrasion and chemical peels. Due the intensity of my scarring and active acne I received 5 treatments which Cleared and smoothed out my skin and scarring. Anna made me feel comfortable, I felt safe and trusted her completely. I Was given back my life which is probably the only way I can describe it, my skin was clear and flawless which coming from where I was,was unbelievable. I can never say enough positive things about this clinic. Unfortunately my acne has returned with a vengeance, but this time I wasn't scared or depressed as I knew the clinic were on hand to help me. This time I have tried active deep FX which has been fantastic!!!! I was nervous going in to get it done but I shouldn't have been as it was relatively painless, I know nothing will stop my acne but I am confident now as I have the expertise of this clinic and trust the staff immensely. The Active Deep FX is also aimed to combat wrinkles which is a plus!! I am getting more FX which Anna will again for me and lip augmentation which will be carried out by Nicola who has carried out my lip augmentation before with results I was thrilled with!! Thank you to the staff for everything and also to Anna who is a professional to the highest standard. I can not recommend this clinic highly enough! Keep up the good work! I will post more information as I receive more treatments to help anyone who has the same problems with their skin as I have had. I have been a customer of the Skin and Laser clinic for several years and have always been happy with their level of customer care and professionalism. However in this review I am referring to one particular visit. I found out that due to a health problem I had to have major surgery and needless to say I was worried and generally sensitive prior to this taking place. I knew that this surgery would lead to me finding it very difficult to shave my legs etc. for weeks after. I could imagine myself being wheeled down to x-ray with my hairy legs on show! This might sound like a very minor concern as compared to the surgery itself, but I think most women would be sympathetic to the concern of having hairy legs on display for the world to see! On the day when I went for may laser hair removal I was feeling a bit low. The nurse (Evanna) was kind, understanding and let me take the time I needed. I did find some of it quite sore, and since I had opted for legs, armpits and bikini it took quite a long time, but she was very patient with me. In the end it turned out that my hospital stay was longer than anticipated, I was in and out of hospital for six weeks. With all the worries that were on my mind at the time I was always grateful that one small one was taken away. I think it's sometimes easy for people not in hospital to forget how important dignity is to patients, and this is what Evanna provided for me: support, understanding and help to keep my dignity throughout the weeks surrounding my surgery. I was amazed at how long the one treatment lasted- I have since had more sessions, but that first treatment kept me hair-free for three months with a couple of very quick shaves at the end of that time period, the very fine hairs came back first. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for hair removal that lasts, whatever your reason (and I hope it's for an extended holiday in the Maldives as opposed to a hospital stay!) read more

I've been a client of The Laser and Skin Clinic for several years and I have always had a top shelf experience as a client and every time I leave after having my treatment I always feel it has been done to the highest and best of standards and never feel anxious or worried and have always had the best of results. Had a number of different tretments at this clinic for acne scarring and have gotten fantastic results with active fx lazer and dermapen micro needling, it has really transformed my skin. For anyone with this concern in particular I would definitely recommend these treatments. Any friends and family that I have recommended this clinic to are very very happy with their treatments and results and overall experience. The clinic itself is state of the art and it is absolutely pristine and immaculate and beautifully decorated. All the team are very thorough and professional and I always feel I am in safe hands and am treated extremely well. As one of Irelands top blogs, Us Flutterby Girls only go for the best so I did alot of research into clinics before I took the plunge. I had heard loads of positive feedback about The Laser and Skin Clinic on Baggot Street so I decided to take a trip in and talk to Anna, the owner about getting some Lip FIllers. The girls are so lovely in there and from the second I walked in I was put at ease. The Clinic itself is so clean and fresh looking, the perfect place to get treated. Anna sat me down to have a chat about the procedure, what it entails and more importantly was I a candidate for lip fillers. She is very good in the fact that if she thought it would not work for your or look good that she wouldn't do it, something that I respect in a person. The whole service was amazing and I am thrilled with my Lip Fillers, I would recommend the clinic to everyone for professionalism, custom service and overall ambience. I am just home following a treatment @ the Laser and Skin Clinic Dublin and visited their brand new Dublin 2 clinic- which is fabulous by the way. Really fresh and has a nice and calm feeling to the place, it looks really well- congrats Anna and team. I had Laser IPL with the lovely Dani on my face- first time to meet Dani but I instantly felt at ease. Dani had a wealth of knowledge and suggestions for me and on leaving I made sure to book back in with her in 4 weeks. I was a little swollen and bruised following the treatment ( which is expected and I had been warned) but Dani fixed me up with some camouflage ie makeup and gave me tons of samples too. I had never been to a skin clinic before visiting the Laser and Skin Clinic in Dublin so didn't know quite what to expect. I started out with one of the free consultations and began treatments after that. The staff were all very knowledgable about the appropriate treatment for my skin type. They offered a number of different options and recommendations. I have now had 2 facial chemical peels and couldn't be happier. I had treatments with both Anna and Nicola and they were equally great. The staff also recommended some great skincare products for me to use that I am now hooked on. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking to make improvements with their skin. I had the privilege of attending this clinic a few weeks ago. Reception staff were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease from the very beginning. My consultation was equally as pleasant. I was made feel relaxed and the consultation was not rushed. I had plenty of time to ask questions and Anna (the proprieter) was beyond helpful. The consultation was free. I have nothing but great things to say about the laser and skin clinic. From the moment i stepped throught the doors almost 6 years ago, i was made feel welcome and always at ease. The expertise of Anna and her staff is phenomenal, my skin is always amazing after a mircrodermabrasion/treatment. I started my Laser hair remove treatment in Laser and Skin Clinic in May. I got a 6 secessions Course for Full Back, Full Front underarms. In my first secession was great. I could see a great result. I'm in my 3rd secession and I can see an excellent result, 90% of the hair gone. My Skin is getting softer and smoother. I'm doing my treatment with Dani. I've had some microdermabrasions in some other clinic where they took a full 40mins and then put a mask on afterwards. When I went in the treatment in full took 30mins, they were very quick with the treatment. I didn't really feel the crystals and it wasn't uncomfortable (weird i know). And then after, there was no down time, no redness and no flaking at all. Hmm, I wouldn't normally complain, but it just was an expensive treatment, and they seemed to fob me off saying every ones skin reacts differently. read more

I wasted my time and money in another clinic for laser hair removal in Dublin because it was cheaper than The Laser and Skin Clinic but I don't get any good result in another clinic. I've been going here now for nearly 2 years and have seen significant improvement in my skin since. The girls are very professional and informative and are not one brand focused but will instead recommend a brand based on your price range and measure your expectations accordingly. I've also had better results with dermal fillers here than in other clinics. Would definitely recommend a visit or consultation with one of the staff. read more

The girls in the Laser Skin really know their stuff. I've had a full series of hair removal with Katie, with great results. And she's a pro at keeping your mind off the laser ! Nicola has also been brilliant for info on acne and skin peels. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at a few different places around the city for the last couple of years, this was by far the best. Almost every other place I've gone to has taken way too much off, despite me telling them I wanted a fuller look to frame my face. The therapist took great detail in explaining the differences in each brow and told me as I'm so fair it could take 2 years for me to achieve the look I want without having to use pencil and powder to fill. Not sure if this was an upsell technique but I appreciated the honesty! She was very careful to remove the bare minimum whilst trying to make them even. Although it's more expensive than a lot of other places I was absolutely delighted with the results, I felt like she really listed to what I wanted and my face looked so different afterwards, being properly framed. I made my follow up appointment on the spot and was given a loyalty card- not sure what exactly this entitles me to. I met a friend for lunch afterwards and even though I was wearing less make up than usual she commented on how well I looked which I definitely think was down to the eyebrows!

I'm very pleased with the results since the first weeks, and I'm seeing a good reduction of hair, about 80% (ofc this has also to do with the fact that I'm "lucky", in the sense that I'm the perfect candidate for laser, having pale skin and dark hair). This salon has been open for little over a year now. It's an airy and pleasant space, decorated in white and lime-green tones. The private rooms upstairs are clean and always neat and tidy when you get there. Appointments are usually on time - I've had to wait for 15mins once, but that was it - and there's a very pleasant waiting room with coffee and tea. I'm no newbie to laser, my first course was done about 7 years ago, back in Portugal, and I know what to expect. After a not-so-great-experience here in Dublin, I decided to try Havana - I live nearby and I'd seen it open recently -, so I picked up a voucher from Groupon. I liked the first consultations so much I bought an additional treatment on top of that, since they were able to offer good value. It's part of their business model, happy clients will be more willing to make additional purchases, and retaining clients with offers is better than losing them to competitors. The only downside I can think of is the fact that the girls working here can sometimes be a bit pushy with sales, regularly presenting you new products or offers on treatments. But other than that, they are very nice and professional, and, more importantly, they are ready to answer your questions and explain what is being done and why. I'd recommend it, I like the equipment used and the way they do things here, it all feels safe, pleasant and clean. After every appointment you give them feedback on your experience that day, particularly regarding pain, and they keep all this information on your file so they can use it on your next treatment. When I politely declined, she actually zapped me with the laser in an unexpected region that I almost jumped off of the table. She then made an apology while laughing. The person doing the laser treatment didn't even have the courtesy of leaving the room while I got dressed and again mentioned that I should buy more session WHILE I WAS GETTING DRESSED! They also kept pushing me to buy all these unnecessary creams claiming that they are "protective" for anyone getting laser treatment. The products didn't make the slightest difference. When I stopped going and sent a complaint, all I got was another employee making excuses and not wanting to deal with the situation properly. Long story short, stay away and find a more professional place.

Sorry this was for Malahide Jule…read more My sister and I had a pampering session yesterday eve at Jule. On arrival my first impression was that it's very clean, bright and staff were friendly. We were brought to the relaxation room. It's cosy with huge chairs and cushions. We were brought to our treatment room. I love the way we could get changed into dressing gown in the room. The room was very relaxing. I had the coconut foot soak, hot towel back compress, relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage, Dermalogica Facial and foot massage. From start to finish was so relaxing. Best massage ever. When I went back into the relaxation we had Presecco and chocolates ready for us. And my pet hate .... product pushing I didn't feel there was any pressure to buy any products like some Spas. This was our first visit. We will defo be back and we will probably be now making this a regular visit as we loved it.

I've come here on numerous occasions to get my shellac nails, massages and other spa packages as…read morethey have monthly offers which are great value, such as €20 shellac, x4 massages for €99, up to 40% discount for their spa packages which usually costed around €79-250 etc. These offers are limited to one month only and they change every month. I got the Relax & Renew spa package that was reduced from €119 to €69 in December, which included a coconut foot soak, Dermalogica facial, Indian head massage and a back, hand and foot massage. The offers change every month, but I know for January 2016, it €59 for the skin treatments like microdermabrasion and illuminating facials and 40% discount on massages. I've also had a deep tissue massage here which was pretty good but shorter than I expected (~40 mins). The girls here are really nice and friendly and they always do my Shellac perfectly (although they don't do complimentary removal even if you got it there, which costs an extra €5). The nail art is pretty limited in that they don't seem to do the really funky designs. You can get simple things like glitter, stars, hearts etc. though. They also seem to have some unique treatments that you don't come across everyday like ear candling, seaweed facials, body wraps and massage as well as special treatments like laser (non-contract), IPL red vein removal, facial peels and callus removal. The prices in general are slightly lower than most city centre salons (facials cost around €70 up), and the online booking system allows you to made instantaneous appointments via phorest without having to wait for confirmation. Overall, nice salon with friendly staff, a range of treatments and interesting special offers.
