She analysed my skin and gave me very useful advice. I visited another two times and was very happy with the service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the last time I visited I received terrible service. The beautician ,whose name I didn't find out because she barely spoke to me throughout the whole 40 minutes, was quite rude. The only time she spoke to me was to guide me to the room, ask me to lie down and to take my payment. She asked no questions about my skin and made no attempts to me feel relaxed. As I said I do not know her name but she is an older, eastern european woman. I will go back to the salon but will just make sure I do not get treated by her. Take my advice go to the salon but avoid this terrible beautician.

I've tried a number of treatments and for me the best treatment is the eyebrow threading and dying, very affordable and done very well with much care. On the contrary I paid triple for a similar service in a 'posh' salon in Canary Wharf and the treatment was nowhere near as good. To mirror the previous poster's comment, although they mean well, the hairdressing isn't of a great standard and they don't seem to be up to speed with the modern techniques. I also didn't think much of the standard of manicure, but it is cheap, so if you fancy getting a hand on a quick tidy up then it's more than ok but don't expect the Earth! I had a Dermologica facial which was wonderful, however I asked if the lady could take me through some of the products but she ended up disappearing and didn't come back! I ended up spending £100 on products online when I got home, a missed opportunity for Dak Sheen! In summary, this is a cheap, cheerful and convenient salon which I enjoy visiting.

I've always had my legs and bikini area waxed and the pain no longer phases me. However, this was one of the most painful experiences of my life! There were tears in my eyes as the lady yanked and jerked at my skin - it seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. She kept apologising and telling me that my hair was very stubborn... I was left in a terrible state - patchy with torn skin and blood patches. I was made to pay full price and walked (hobbled) out shaking my head and vowing never to go back there again. The staff are all super nice and equally professional - something that is paramount in this industry. My only gripe is that they can run a little late with their appointments, so be prepared to wait 10 or 15 minutes even if you show up on time. There's also some upselling, which is to be expected. However if you say no they won't push it. All in all I'd totally recommend this place for anyone who has fickle skin.

And that's a shame - because it's excellent. Walk through the shop to the back and down the stairs, and you'll find a couple of beauty rooms. I got a warm welcome from Janina, my therapist, who was lovely and friendly throughout. They use lycon hot wax and the rooms are extremely tidy and clean. Therapists wear gloves and there is no dipping the stick back into the wax. The best thing about the set up is that there is a tv in each room where you'll be lying back and watching Sex and the City episodes while your wax takes place. An amazing distraction from the job at hand! The hot wax was quick, about 20 minutes, very painless and thorough. Best of all, it's a complete steal. Cheapest place I've found in London. This place is certainly worth trekking across London for. I am looking forward to going back many times in the future.

I fast found that many of my friends were choosing here and were in fact regular customers. They offer full nail bar which is more pricey -and have a nice selection of colours also to buy -However selling only very high end and very, very expensive varnishs . If its a waxing or tinting treatments you are looking for ,though this place is very affordable. The rooms are cramped and make you wonder about the cleanliness. The service is excellent, though we had some communication difficulties. My favourite thing about this place is the laminated illustration on the wall showing the various grooming styles one might choose. You would think that pointing would eliminate some of the communication difficulties (I'll take that one, please), but no such luck. 20 GBP, hard wax (not strip), quick service, but I'm not sure I'll be back.

(26.40 Pounds is listed in their site) When I called them to ask why I was charged 30 pounds they said it was because of gratuity. Gratuity should be optional. They are cheaters!!! Don't trust them!!!
