This is a long story... Went here more than a few times and yet they never remembered my face…read more The last time I went they RUINED my nails. I asked for removal and acrylic overlay. My natural nails were very long at the time. He asked if I wanted them cut and I said yes. He clipped them down with the previous acrylic still on which was really painful! They're supposed to take it off first when there's no tips. Then he realised halfway thru and started soaking. Then he got the tips tray out - I said "wait I don't want tips" and the next lady looked over and said "your nails are too short for acrylic"!!!!! So I said "well your man just cut them down, and they're not. You can put acrylic on anything." Then (!) he started putting the acrylic on and trying to create a longer nail by putting loads extra on the end. There was a lump of acrylic on the end of each of my fingers! I asked him to file the underneath and he tried and tried but obviously it was never gonna be the depth of a normal nail... It was uncomfortable and looked awful so I asked him to just take it off and the lady came over to do it. I asked her not to drill them and just to soak them because he'd drilled so much and my nails were getting so thin and she told me she couldn't do that... the second she drilled them off I got the hell out of there but I haven't been able to wear anything on my nails because they're so damaged for 2 MONTHS!!!!

I visit this salon regularly to have my eyebrows plucked. I think it's a very reasonable price to…read morepay (having seen other salons prices!) they are also open late on one night so it means that you can always get an appointment when you want it. The staff there are lovely, I always have a good chat with them whilst i'm having my eyebrows done. It's located right in the centre of town so you can always nip there, even if it's only your lunch hour you have!

Joanna is such a friendly person who makes you feel welcome and comfortable every time you book and attend appointments. The atmosphere is always a happy lively, one. Best salon ive ever used, which is why I will never go anywhere else.
