Patty is the new owner and Bert Edel, who has been there since Maria, is the 1st Mate. She knows everything about beading, crafting, jewelry purchases and jewelry repair. Walking along River street we saw a sign that said "coffee, tea expresso and, thirsty, decided to stop in, not knowing it was also a clothing store. All 9 of us got something to drink, from coffee to tea to some of their specialty drinks, and we all enjoyed them before wandering down the street to check out the town. Both ladies behind the counter were very helpful as was Carrie, the VP of Retail. The ladies in our group didn't look for clothing as the goal was to get something to drink, but we'd recommend stopping there if your in Manistee as the drinks are good and we're sure the clothing looks good based upon the website.

They do appear to try to keep up with what is "in" at the time. I don't shop here often due to my own personal style not always fitting what they offer. Clothes typically have good durability. They sell Silver Jeans which is a bonus. They offer sales and discounts often. Some of the salespeople can be a little pushy at times. Others are more laid back. This view depends on your personal preference. I like stores that greet me, tell me about specials, and are available to help. I don't need help picking out clothing and don't like salespeople bringing me more things that they think would be cute to try on. Some people need that help when shopping though so for them that's probably a positive.

It is a bit pricey ($3 for the first scanned page, and 10 cents for each additional page), but the job comes enhanced with personable and efficient customer service. No need to fuss with annoying copy cards or scratching one's head over a particular machine's interworkings. This is a full service operation that seems to be the hub for local businesses to take care of their copying and printing needs. They also have a selection of office supplies, and computer repairs are offered in the adjacent room. Street parking is readily available next to their Filer Street entrance, though there is also an entrance on the busier River Street.
