No stars if I could enter that. I was treated very poorly in this office. I had an PA who messed…read moreup my medication orders to CVS twice. I had a friend with me in the room for an extra set of ears while discussing the results of an MRI they ordered for me. While discussing my treatment options, there was NO mention of a consultation OR an evaluation, when I decided on an option, she brought me to the front desk to schedule an epidural. I got no pre-op instructions which I thought was odd, but it was over a weekend so I called the after hours desk which informed me that my next appointment was for a CONSULTATION. When I arrived for my appointment a doctor told me that I had to have 6 weeks worth of physical therapy before they could give me an injection. I had already had 4 sessions of physical therapy which made my pain worse. I explained to him that this was NOT conveyed to me AT ALL. My friend confirmed this. He said it is insurance protocol and there was no way I could get around it. This is after being in extreme pain for 6 weeks. I was very upset about this NOT being mentioned to me by the PA. I even explained to him about the medication not being called in to CVS and he had the NERVE to tell me it had been faxed over electronically at 9am when I wasn't even IN THE OFFICE FOR MY APPOINTMENT until 11:30 am. I left the office and am seeking help elsewhere where I can be treated with respect and being made aware of ALL OPTIONS.

My wife and I had been seeing Dr Gonzalez for at least four years. When we moved we were happy to…read moresee the group had an office near us. My wife had severe pain in her knee and an appointment to see Dr Gonzalez would be one month away (ONE MONTH). Who could possibly be THAT busy. We were able to get an appointment with one of the PA's (Laura) who saw us the next day and was very helpful. A week later my wife's knee hadn't seen much improvement and we called back this time seeking an appointment with Dr Gonzalez at Laura's suggestion. After considerable discussion and speaking to several people we were finally "granted" an appointment but it wasn't local, it was a one hour drive away but OK, we were going to finally see the Dr. Unfortunately due to very high traffic and construction we arrived 30 minutes late. There were 3 other people in the waiting room (meaning it wasn't very busy). While signing in the couple next to us was being chastised by the desk clerk that if they were 5 minutes late next time, their appointment would be cancelled. They must have been late for their appointment. The receptionist checked with Dr Gonzalez and he refused to see my wife because we were 30 minutes late. He didn't care that she was in severe pain or that we are long time patients (including my wife, father in law and me) nor did he care that we had a one hour drive to get there. We were late and that was all that mattered. He wasn't real busy so it was a matter of principal. Personal rules before patients is NOT how a Dr treats a patient who is in pain. His assistant recognized us as familiar patients and tried to get us to see him but he clearly was not interested. We realized we were late and apologized. We had been driving for well over an hour and couldn't control traffic and construction delays. We would have even accepted having to wait until there was a break in the Drs schedule to see my wife (who again, WAS IN PAIN) but that option wasn't offered. We were offered to reschedule instead. We've been there many times and had to sit and wait to see the "Good Doctor" but I guess that's ok as long as WE were on time. There are other orthopedic doctors everywhere you go, so get referrals from friends and neighbors or read the Google reviews and find one who puts their patients first. That's exactly what we will be doing.

I waited until one hour past my appointment time. I had another doctor 's appointment so I had to leave. They still charged my insurance for a visit and did not return my co-pay. Dr. Tozzi has absolutely no sense of wasting patient's time, but if you are more than 10 minutes late, they make you reschedule. Will not be going back.

Dr. Mennonna was the orthopedic surgeon on call in the emergency room and immediately put me at ease with his kind and calming demeanor. He reassured me everything would be fine and he explained to me in detail where and how he was going to perform the surgery. His medical assistant Natalie was also wonderful. She was always readily available whenever I needed to get a hold of the doctor. When I had an incident a few weeks later and needed to have an x-ray to check my hip, his staff, along with Natalie, were so accommodating and got me in for an appointment right away. Dr. Mennonna personally called me about 15 minutes later to tell me the results, which is a continued testament to how much he cares about his patients and their wellbeing. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends as someone I trust to handle any orthopedic needs.
