The front desk was so friendly, assistant so caring, and Dr. Rosen couldn't have been more loving, attentive, and focused on caring solutions. Dr St Lawrence administered a cocktail of anesthesia which did not suit my dog at all and he did not monitor him. Apparently, he left the room to see another patient. My dog had bradycardia during the procedure and this wasn't noticed by whomever was cleaning his teeth. When I picked him up, my dog could barely stagger to the car. In fact , he stumbled around for several days more, not eating or drinking . At that point, I was panic stricken and called ST Lawrence. He admitted to me that he had left the room to attend to another patient and that my dog was overseen by an assistant, with no anesthesiologist present to monitor. My dog had suffered bradycardia while St Lawrence was gone and the assistant did not know. He was apologetic, but hey this was borderline malpractice IMHO. Three years later, just yesterday ,I brought my dog to Adobe for a dental cleaning and 3 teeth were extracted. He was almost completely normal that same afternoon. I realize now just how poor the procedure was at Village Square. Awful and the cost for a simple cleaning was very high, more than at Adobe . Adobe Los Altos is far more reasonable by comparison and one can be certain that the care is outstanding, the facilities without equal, and the vets extremely capable as they have vets who specialize in doing dental procedures.

She is smart, friendly, and very compassionate. She will work with your farrier if your horse has hoof/foot issues. Her prices are totally reasonable (especially for the area). And she has gone above and beyond for my horse when he had colic due to a new medication. She worked with the manufacturer and billed them so I could focus my energy on my horse and not freak out about the financial implications. I rave about Kelly to all my horse friends. Not only do I really enjoy her as a person and am proud of her for taking the leap into her own business, but I also completely respect her as an equine vet and trust her to take the best care possible of my boy. :)

Recently we went through the hardest Cellulitis case that caused open wounds on her leg and it has been a lot of work to get her on the road to recovery. Dr. Brigid McCarthy has been truly amazing, we have sent her daily photos and she replies with tips and detailed information, even showing us side by side photos so we can really see the changes. At every appointment she tells us what she is doing with each step and she gives great details to my Daughter who wants to always work with horses. Her and her team are kind, patient and very knowledgeable. We are so very grateful to have them on our care team!

Hi Bari, I appreciate your response, but several important…read morefacts need clarification: When we initially contacted you nearly two months ago our puppy was only 9 weeks old. We had specific training goals, and we wanted to start immediately to establish a strong foundation. She is now 17 weeks old and after our email to you on February 2nd we have attempted to contact you four separate times (via email, Yelp, NextDoor, and US mail) with no response until now. As I've explained, we've already established a relationship with another trainer and are happy with our progress. While I appreciated the introductory phone call explaining your philosophy and the emailed articles, these were preliminary to the actual training session we paid for. The $190 payment was specifically for the virtual training session with our 9-week-old puppy that never occurred. Had this been a misunderstanding, there have been multiple opportunities to clarify, including on February 3rd. When we set our appointment it was to accommodate your schedule, as you were not available till even later in the evening the day before. We had explained that we were flexible, but that scheduling a training session for our puppy late in the evening was not setting her up for success. If anything but a late evening training session was going to be problematic for your schedule this could have been communicated during the introductory call, rather than taking our payment and then not responding to our emails. At this point, we simply need you to process the $190 reimbursement without further delay. The payment was for a service that was not delivered, and we have made multiple respectful requests, including a certified letter with a March 21st deadline which has now passed without resolution. While we are preparing to proceed with the legal remedies outlined in that communication, we would still prefer to resolve this matter directly and promptly with a full refund of the $190 payment for the virtual training which was never delivered.

I paid over $1300 in testing for them to give a timeline to expect calls about results that ultimately was not met. Then I call in only to hear they do have the results but the vet happens to be so busy the entire day that they somehow can't take 10 minutes to update me on the condition of my pet. The staff is obtuse and rude and the last kind of people you want to be dealing with when something is wrong with your animal. Just avoid. I will be finding a new vet for my pets. Edited to add I am still here waiting for a call about my cats results. Last time I called the rude as hell receptionist hung up on me after I reminded them it is illegal to withhold test results in California. I just finished filing a complaint with the California Veterinary Medical Board, that is how angry I am about the lack of service I have received. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your pets.

First, I want to acknowledge that the staff were kind, gentle, and clearly cared about both me and my cat. During an incredibly emotional time, they treated us with empathy, and I'm grateful for that. However, my cat was in renal failure, and I don't feel that I was ever given a clear or honest understanding of how serious her condition truly was. I was repeatedly told that her situation was treatable, particularly once she started eating again. She ended up staying there for three nights, and while I was told she had begun eating at the clinic, when I brought her home she still wasn't eating and was in very poor condition. What's most difficult for me is that she passed away the day after I brought her home, after I had spent nearly $16,000 on her care. Looking back, I strongly wish someone had been more candid with me about her prognosis and whether euthanasia might have been the most humane option. I feel like I wasn't given the information I needed to make an informed decision about her end-of-life care. I don't doubt the compassion of the staff, but I do wish there had been clearer communication and more medical guidance during such a critical time. For anyone going through something similar, I would encourage asking very direct questions about prognosis and quality of life, as I wish I had been guided more firmly in that direction.
