Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had surgery nearly two weeks ago and am still dealing with pain, yet the office has failed to send the required paperwork to my employer. This has caused unnecessary delays, added stress, and has made an already difficult recovery even harder. I have called, emailed, and texted multiple times with little to no response or follow-through. It is incredibly frustrating to feel ignored when I am simply trying to get something handled that is both urgent and essential. If I had a direct way to contact Dr. Patel, I am confident this would have been resolved by now. Instead, I am left chasing basic support that should have been taken care of without repeated requests. Based on other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue, which is even more concerning. All I am asking for is timely communication and follow-up--this should not be this difficult, especially during recovery from surgery.

I was in so much pain that due to my fall I sustained a large hematoma on my right knee. Due to my injury and the HIGH COST of seeing a ER Doctor I tried working with my insurance to see someone that could help me. Due to my hematoma, my pain management doctor asked if I'd like to have this thing drained in hopes that it would help eliminate some of my pain. It didn't help much other than reduce my swelling in that knee. I tried reaching out to my HMO primary if they could get me in to see a specialist to help treat my injury. My doctor's scheduling coordinator found SCOS and gave me a referral to finally see a specialist. The specialist assigned to me was Dr. Scott Graham. When I got to the office his staff took X-rays of both my knees then had me wait for Dr. Graham to review them. He said due to the time between when the accident occurred and now did I try to seek any medical attention? I told him that due to the difficulty I was having getting in to see a doctor, my pain management doctor helped drain my hematoma. He asked where were the notes from that doctor? I said that everything I've even had done by a doctor was placed in my medical notes even whenever I've had surgeries or any other procedure done that all was in my medical records. He said that nothing was in his records. He told me that I was wasting his time and that the way I went in treating my injury was all wrong and that he couldn't do anything for me. He spent almost 30 minutes chewing me out for doing what I did before seeing him. I said I was going out of my mind in pain and that anything a doctor could do for me was better than nothing. I tried to apologize to him but he wasn't hearing anything from me. He had already made it up in his own mind that despite that I was a patient in need there wasn't anything could do for me and he couldn't care less about. Dr. Graham has the WORST BEDSIDE MANNER of any doctor I have ever seen in my entire life!!!!!!! He's an egotistical megalomaniac doctor and I use the term "Doctor" very loosely when referring to him. Dr. Graham is obviously forgotten the Hippocratic Oath that all doctors must abide to except this Moron who promised to abide to when treating his patients with respect, If I could have rated him with. A ZERO STAR I would have!!! I don't think Dr. Graham should be a doctor but rather a Garbageman, a position more suited for his crappy attitude. At least as a garbage man he'll never have to worry about the trash and garbage he'd be shoveling every day to his patients. I used to come to SCOS over the years for other injuries and every doctor up until now has been ABSOLUTELY outstanding! I would always recommend SCOS to all my family and friends if they ever needed an EXCELLENT Surgeon or Specialist. But not any longer. If Dr. Scott Graham is an example of the types of specialist that SCOS now has on staff, I will NEVER BE BACK and I'll be stating this on all the social media platforms I'm on after this afternoon (e. g. Instagram, Facebook and X). Dr. Graham can go F.... Himself for all I care!!! Worst doctor EVER!!!

A friend suggested I go to Orange County Orthopaedics and Sports Medical Group. Dr. Greenbaum diagnosed it as a torn supraspinatus (rotator cuff). He was very patient and took his time explaining in detail what was causing the pain and telling me about my options. When speaking with him about my particular situation, it quickly became evident he is highly experienced and very successful in helping people with these repairs. In retrospect, I wish I had not waited so long to get my shoulder fixed. The constant discomfort and disrupted sleep over the years was not necessary. I am extremely happy with the outcome of my shoulder repair. While it did take effort on my part to take the necessary steps to protect and then rehabilitate my shoulder post surgery as directed by the doctor, I am 100% confident in my decision to use Dr. Greenbaum at Orange County Orthopaedics and Sports Medical Group.

I've known Dr Montgomery for many many years and have sent many patients to him. He is a kind patient a tentative doctor who listens and treats his patients with lots of TLC and respect. I wish Yelp would let this old lady correct my mistakes but SCOS is a fantastic orthopedic group you have everybody you need right there. I want a particularly mention Amanda a check-in and her attention to detail and customer kindness and are willingness to make sure that all of our other doctors involved get the information and faxes and diagnostics that we need to give us the best care and prognosis as possible. Dawn the office manager is an earth angel and she runs the office like she would run a household with love and care patients and understanding. I'd like to mention Mr handlebar mustache who took my six x-rays by the name of Christopher with a k who took attention to protecting my thyroid gland with an x-ray shield and made me comfortable with the movements I had to make that were very hard for my double lumbar fusion and hip replacement surgeries. I can't say enough about the progress that this office makes towards making everything the best for its patients. I'm in a very high level of pain and don't do pain meds and I don't know how to use my phone very well but I do have a picture of myself with Dr Montgomery today and I also have a picture of myself with Dr veneziano who does the steroid injections which I will get another one Monday May 18th 2026. If you want the best of the best, five-star Blue ribbon at the fair awardable doctors and care I highly recommend this practice. Signed Roberta McNamara

I had Dr. Coker fix my wrist a year and a half ago. I went to him because my boss, a Physical…read moreTherapist, recommended him. Of course, since he had seen great work from him, I decided that he would be the best choice for me. I had issues with my wrist since I was 8 or 10 years old. I couldn't do push ups, push myself up onto something, or even push a door open at times without excruciating pain. As I got older, it got worse. I just couldn't deal with it anymore and didn't want issues giving injections as I was just starting nursing school. I had an MRI done outside of SCOS because I thought it may have been a cyst, but it wasn't. So, I brought my MRI into Dr. Coker and he looked at it at different angles with me for at least 45 minutes. He was stumped. He had no idea why I was having these issues when my wrist was extended in certain positions. I elected to do exploratory surgery so that he could just look inside my wrist for himself rather than on the MRI. After 16 minutes of surgery, he had fixed my wrist! I had, in fact, a cyst between my scaphoid and capitate bone that was so hard as it had been there for so many years. I also had a ligament that connected the two bones that would lift my scaphoid bone when my hand was in an extended position, causing the pain. He cut it and extracted the cyst. My wrist is not completely free of pain, but it could be in my head after 80 push ups.I would have never been able to do that before. I can now do push ups, push myself up onto a rock if I wanted, and never have flair ups that inhibit me from even pushing a door open. I am so grateful that he took the time to figure out what was wrong with my wrist and really listened to me in what I had to say was wrong with it. I really appreciate everything that he did and would recommend him to anyone to get their wrist or foot surgery completed. Thank you Dr. Coker!

If you're reading this, DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR. Do not visit this doctor. Do not listen to him when he tells you you need surgery. This is pretty much one of the worst doctors I've ever experienced in my life. Horrible bedside manner, doesn't talk to you doesn't explain things, rushes you and pushes you into surgery or tells you you'll never feel better. Forces cortisone shots on you if you ask for any serious advice on how to make your hand or wrist or whatever you're dealing with feel better. My hand/wrist is in more pain than it was before seeing this doctor and trusting him to perform surgery on me. So many complications, my entire wrist was swollen up weeks after the surgery and never once did I get a call back from him. When I went to visit their office, I was passed off to random people. He could care less now that he already billed for the surgery. A normal doctor would care if something wasn't going right, a normal doctor would care if you were in more pain after the surgery then before. When I went to visit him, he says "well I have no idea why you're still in pain, I can just offer you a Cortisone shot" ---- Say what??!! You are the expert (allegedly). I'm going to schedule an appointment to meet with a different doctor and I will consider legal action if it is determined that he performed a useless, medically unnecessary surgery. It seems like that seems to be his way of practicing medicine. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!! TRUST ME.... FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!!!!
