The trainee did little more than incorrectly place, and then over-tighten my fan blade, which the senior tech wound up coming back to remove. *Loss of star (2) is due to the initial "repair" strategy, being to bypass the high & low safety systems of the unit. The igniter broke, so they replaced it. So far so good. However, the furnace made a loud noise whenever it fired up. We thought it was likely just a generic part and that's a minor annoyance, but at least it works. Eight days later, it stopped working again. After calling five times and leaving three messages from just before noon until 5pm, we received no response. It is January. Tonight's low is 21 degrees. This is unacceptable.
