Today Lilly Chester (I made up her last name) was my masseuse. I found Lilly has strong hands and was able to provide stead pressure all the way through the massage. Most of the massage was focused on my lower back, lower back and glutes, because of the work I do. Lilly provided a massage for the gluteus maximus called Ashiatsu Massage. This type of massage dates back 2,000 years or 12th century. *Ashi* means foot and *Atsu* means pressure. There is more info out there, but you get the point. I think with the Ashiatsu done by Lilly, more good was done than hands alone. Next time I come back, I might get a combination of Ashiatsu and Swedish...maybe through in a little Thai Massage to. I feel great, but I am going to need more water now. Thanks for massage Lilly, your ten years of massage knowledge has paid off for me. I shall return.

I really feel I have seen this woman at another massage place before. Anyhow, Ogi started out her massage using a massage cream that didn't have a scent. The massage cream I though was weak and did not really hold it slickness.  The cream vanished  and she had to keep getting more and more. There is a Cucumber body lotion that works wonders for massage. I recommend using that. Zen Reflexology & Spa can tell them where they got these great and inexpensive lotions. Ogi started on my back using the massage cream I did not care for, but still wanted to see how the whole massage would turn out.  Ogi massage skills are not the greatest I have had, but is a long way from the worst I have had. To me it did not seem she was spending enough time on the various body parts.   I felt my shoulders could have used more attention,  but I did not say anything. I will the next time though.    Ogi did do a draping of a towel over the buttocks,  but removed the towel later on. Ogi worked her magic until she completed the massage. Ogi did work on my feet with actual oil and it was great.  I know I will ask for this massage oil next time around.  Oh, and the oil doesn't have any offensive smell to them. Still, I feel the light scented Cucumber lotion Zen Reflexology & Spa sells for $5.00 is the best. *FINAL THOUGHT* Ogi does not pressure you into giving her a tip like I have heard other reviewers talk about at other massage places; however, it would be impolite not to leave a tip.  She leaves the tip decision to you. You can pay by cash or credit card. However, if you use a credit card, there is a $5 dollar charge....maybe $4 charge for tips. This is a nice little business that doesn't get to many customer,  so don't  be surprised if the door is left open. Eris is not likely to poke her head in and say"Man!, what are you doing here?"  Normally this kind of thing does bother me, but not this time.  I will be back for round two possibly next month.

These prices could be high my friend. I have visited the Fairfax location, but alas, no one was home. I survived the fall Hans Gruber could not, but I was left disappointed. Thx I was met at the door by a masseuse, I did not catch her name but she was absolutely incredible. Her knowledge of the muscles is beyond compare. I did not have to speak one word to her and she found all my trouble spots and worked on them to great degrees. I have never said "Uncle" (from it hurting) when getting a massage before, but I came real close one time. I know that the more pain I feel while I'm on the table the better I'm going to feel that afternoon. After an incredible massage she gave me a bottle of water. I gave her a very nice tip because the massage was so good. She made sure to tell me to drink a lot of water over the next 24 hours to flush my system. I'm assuming that's what she was saying because I've been told that so many other times :-). I would highly recommend this place, it is clean, had a large massage room, very professional and she did an incredibly good job. Tell them that your favorite realtor Jim sent you.

I found this number from another place known as My Spa. It was one of 3 places, but now I guess ot is down to two. To think I was just near this place earlier today. This hours of this business is 10am-10pm Monday-Sunday 30 minute massage is $50 1 hour massage is $70 90 minutes is $120 This place doesn't have table showers or body scrub according to the lady I spoke with. I love my hair. I asked for a full highlight and toner. That's what I got…read more However, I was told it would take 2 hours. It took 3 1/2 hours. Then, there was a $50 charge to blow dry my hair. I wasn't told that until I was paying. (Hadn't budgeted for that). I would've dried my hair at home. The chair was short, I am tall, my (very nice) hair dresser was shorter. So, I had to keep scooching down in the chair to get my hair done. I was aching after 3 1/2 hours. Finally, my (still very nice) hairdresser wanted to take photos of my hair. I was fine with this but I didn't really get a choice. Then, she was touching my face and the front of my neck. I wasn't asked if this was okay and I was uncomfortable. I love my hair. They did a great job. I don't think I would go back just because of the service aspect.
