Graham and his team do great work! Great service all the way around! This is a family owned business that has been around for more than 50 years! Give them a try, quick and easy oil changes while you wait read more

Cant complain. They seem to be honest. Its an old time Florida feel place where you sit in chairs 8n the open air garage while 2 or 3 mechanics work on your car. The car lift is actually outdoors. I should disclose they left a brake caliper hanging so it banged going over bumps, but fixed it free when I brought it back. It did cost me some inconvenience but mistakes happen. Avoid brand name stealerships at all cost. This is a good decent place. read more

Amazing experience. I was recommended to go to Larcom's and recommend everyone I know to go as well. Most reasonable prices, friendly and respectful. read more

Responsive to inquiries 100%. I look forward to doing business with the company. I had to do a lot of research to find a distributor of lifts that was not an online scam. read more

I've been hearing about this place for some time and knew that as soon as my warranty was up on my vehicle, I'd be taking my car for service there. It's close to home, it seems like Ricky and everyone there are really nice and are all about honest customer service. Prices are ridiculously reasonable. I priced out brakes at the dealer (where all work on my car had previously been done - including all oil changes) and they saved me a ton of money and time! I also sorta needed new rotors on the front and an oil change. Adding those wasn't terribly much more and since they had the wheels off and changing the brakes, might as well do the rotors while we're there... The first set of rotors that got replaced I noticed a shake immediately upon braking and kept driving to make sure I wasn't imagining things and then had to travel out of town and over the next few days it wasn't as bad, but was still there. When I got back in town, I called Ricky and he said bring it in and as they warranty their work, they would take a look and sure enough he felt it too. Replaced the rotors with new ones and voila! it surely did fix the problem and the car is smooth as silk when braking now! They really did a great job, I'm happy so far with my first experience and based on the constant glowing reviews (not just here) I am a customer...so far, for life! :) read more

Family owned business super honest people that know what they're doing. Highly recommend!

My go-to auto shop! Was recommended by my aunt years ago to take my vehicle here for any car repairs or service and I haven't gone anywhere else since. I really appreciate the mechanics! They're honest, kind, and they take their time to actually check your vehicle. Unlike most mechanic shops, they don't just "eyeball" and tell you what's wrong with the car. They actually drive test the vehicle to hear and feel what's wrong with it. Sounds funny, but believe it or not, I've seen some auto shops do this. Sometimes I'm left with so many questions but this place doesn't leave me hanging like that. Prices are really fair for what needs to be done. Place is a garage feel, not franchise-like. Overall excellent customer service. Def recommend checking it out for any of your car trouble! read more

This is a rare gem of an auto shop. Trustworthy, dedicated, family-owned. The saying goes, "it's hard to find a good mechanic, and when you do, keep them for life." Larcom's garage is gonna be in my life. read more

I'm so happy that I brought my car here for repairs. Larcom's came highly recommended by a few people and I completely understand why. It's so refreshing to work with mechanics who are honest and upfront about repairs and what your car really needs. Such friendly service too. They are ASE certified, AC Delco shop, and have GM training/tools. They are a local family owned business that have been around for a long time, that's always a good sign. I will definitely be using them for any future repairs. read more

Had a dead battery in my truck. Found Larcom's Garage down here SOG at Chism & Trask. Ricky (owner) came & jumped me off (battery was dead) & I followed him to his shop. He is now replacing my battery. Price is actually a bit less than commercial/big auto parts businesses in the area. Very professional & easy going crew he has here!! I almost don't want to write a review because I like to keep this secret hidden. These guys operate a family-owned business and are the most honest servicemen around. Even though I live nearly 40 minutes away, I still take my car for servicing to them because I know I'm going to get honest, good work done at a very reasonable price. Used them for almost a decade now, Rickie's the only honest mechanic I've met in Tampa.

Ever since a co-worker turned me on to this place, I won't go anywhere else. Had what I suspected was a bad starter that ended up only being a dying battery. Any of the dishonest places out there would have taken the opportunity to cash in a sell me a starter that wasn't needed. Also, Ricky swapped out the battery then checked and topped off fluids within 15 minutes of me pulling in. This is definitely the place to go for honest, reliable and inexpensive auto repair. read more

Great service and great people! I will be taking my car there for future services. Thanks for charging my battery!!

This is the ONLY place to get your car serviced in Tampa. Ricky and his crew are the most honest, hard working group of guys. 2nd generation, family-owned business--their reputation lives up to their service. Ricky is the best! read more

Was recommended this place by a few people. Took car in for an estimate was quoted $500 then when we went to schedule to bring the car in after making arrangements were told it would be $800. The guy who answered the phone made excuses like I must have been busy that day then he couldn't locate the first estimate. Sounds fishy to me so I will not be bringing my car there. Doesn't seem very honest or reliable! read more
