My two year old usually has no issues on play structures but this one tested her abilities. I'd say best for older kids overall. With that, there was still a number of fun things for her to do like play on the rock wall, swings, the hammock style swing, climb on the alligator, explore in the dry creek and we even rolled down the giant hill. We collected leaves, little pine cones, and watched squirrels in the dry creek. The shade trees were so nice, because it allowed us to beat the heat and enjoy being outdoors a bit longer. The park also has a water refill station to help you stay hydrated. No bathrooms, so go before you come, but definitely a fun little outing for a local park!

This was the first of many parks I visited and I was there for barely a few minutes but I wanted to leave. Many teenage kids here had no respect for personal space and would walk up to my boyfriend and I and not interact with us...kept smiling weirdly too...creeped us out. I got one picture of us there and left. It was also super windy the day I went; not sure about the time of day but I went to other parks that day and none of which was as windy as this park.

While Questa Park isn't too grand in size, the large open grassy area and the abundant shade located along the walking paths are what make this place so appealing to me. Here you will find: playground, tennis court, picnic and bbq areas. There is also a designated dog area where it allows for off-leash play. The play structures aren't exactly great for my toddler. It doesn't provide anything too excited besides the track ride. The sand pit was a nice but I didn't come prepared with toys for her to enjoy this with. 3.5 stars overall. Questa Park may not be the best location when it comes to satisfying playtime for my child but it does come highly recommended for picnics and comfortable strolls. The shade provided here is next level.

Located on the same plot of land as Questa Elementary School the Park is known to locals as the ''Baseball Diamond''. It consists of a large grassy field for Baseball and Soccer as well as a Bocce Ball court, Basket Ball court, numerous tables and BBQ pit and a small play area with 2 climbing structures, 2 slides and some Swings (love those Swings!!). As it is a large area it can accommodate larger events and often has Soccer games and Parties almost every weekend. Also I noticed just last week (on Thursday evening, I believe) some ladies using the Basket Ball court to do some outdoors Aerobics - Very cool! I may just have to put my qualifications into action and hold some Circuit Training evenings there myself!* It is also paved all around the perimeter which makes it a prime location for Running if I don't feel like venturing too far from home. *If you live in the area and are interested drop me a message.

This part of town has three basketball full-courts within half-mile of each other. There is one…read morehere at Verner Hanson Park, another one at John Erb Park, and the last one at Marlow Brothers Park. Although the goals here do not match (i.e., the north goal has a double-rim while the other has a single one), it is still a good place to play ball. Since we play on all three courts, we do our part in sponsoring the nets whenever they get ripped. Sometimes, the coach that runs scrimmages over here does his share, too. This park also has plenty of greens, a small play area, and a horseshoes sandbox. There is a modest amount of tables and benches with one area lying underneath the shade. The nearest restroom would probably be northwest over at the Tracy Sports Complex. A number of mature trees should have been planted near the basketball court to provide some shade during the hot summer months and to tame the wind when it is blowing hard. Having a full-court in such an open area makes it quite impossible to play when the elements are in full swing. Nevertheless, nothing beats coming out and having some fun outdoors...

It's been a long time since I've been to one and the fond memories of my childhood were rejuvenated. Upon arriving at the venue, the line of vehicles to enter Robertson Park was backed up, so we decided to park outside the park and hoof it in. On this occasion I was taking my daughter and her boyfriend to the rodeo. I had pre-ordered tickets so I was ensured a seat in the grandstand. This rodeo is known for selling out every year. As we were coming upon the entrance we were greeted by animal rights protesters. They were handing out flyers protesting animal cruelty. I politely said no thank you and proceeded to enter the venue. Upon entering we browsed the line of merchants selling western products and saw my friends booth (check out Pieces by Danielle on instagram). We then grabbed a corn dog and proceeded to out seats. Thank God I paid extra for coverage in the grandstand on this hot day! The cowboys and cowgirls participated in roping events, bronco riding, barrel racing and bull riding. My childhood dream job was to become a rodeo clown! We really enjoyed the rodeo and especially my daughter's boyfriend. This was his first rodeo! Can't wait for next June!

The neighborhood in the immediate vicinity leaves much to be desired and you'd better arm your vehicle alarm system before leaving it parked. On a happier note: My dad used to call it Dad's Point and the name has been around with Stockton locals for years. This was probably my first fishing experience as is still many local kids and their dads! (Maybe that's where the nickname came from?) This is an inexpensive place to launch your vessel whether it be a kayak, ski boat, row boat, canoe or other. The docks are beautiful and the launching area was moved from it's old location and is state of the art.
