I am a hotshot transporter hauling a load from Idaho to the east coast. My 2012 F-350 needed an oil change. While in Laramie, Wyoming I stopped by Laramie Range Ford to see if I could get a quick service done. I was greeted at the front door and was directed to the service department where I spoke with Mallory Thrailkill Service Consultant. Mallory was able to accommodate me and was able to get me back on the road in a little more than an hour! Outstanding customer service! Bought used truck 11/25. Needed rear defroster connected. Sales lady said it would be taken care of immediately. It was not. Went back in a day or so later to have door code reset. Mechanic was great. I asked him about the defroster. He got the manager and I was told they would contact me. A week later I went in and no one knew anything. But could look at it next day. Then asked about air dam adjustment or fix. Was told all should be fixed or at least looked at during appointment. Tried contacting service. Called 4 times every 15 minutes with no answer. this was between 4pm-5pm. It took two day to replace window. That doesnt make me mad, not being contacted does. Asked about air dam fix adjustment. They were waiting on parts and would contact me. About two months later and have heard nothing. This place does not care about it customers. I will continue to deter people from buying vehicles or using the service department here. read more

Just a quick update to my previous review of Laramie Ford. After receiving a response from them, I attempted to follow up in good faith to help clear things up. I left several messages but, unfortunately, never heard back. More concerning, though, is what happened next. Our daughter came home one weekend, and we noticed something hanging down under the front of her car. When my husband crawled underneath to check it out, he discovered that the shield had not only not been reattached properly, but a couple of tools actually fell out when he pushed it up. It was a great experience buying our 2020 Ford Explore. Then things went to shit when Brandon left. I got a text not a call from the financing guy. Stating my car was going to be repossessed if I didn't pay my sales tax by the financial institutions. So I got kinda nervous and called the financial institutions and asked what was going on. And I was informed that was incorrect and they only repo a car if you are 3 months or more behind. I told the financial institution that I had to save up to get the sales tax paid at the end of the month. So I called the financing guy back at LRF. And long story short he kept saying they will repo the car meaning the financial institutions. He got a note saying this. I told him I wanted to see the note and letter from them but he didn't have it in front of him. I finely asked him to go get it and read it to me. He did finely and in it said that Laramie Range Ford would repo the car. And he kept saying they meaning the financial institution. Then he said he had called me several times and just got a busy signal. I told him I never got a call. He told me "well you block our number so I didn't have to talk to them" well that was BS. I don't think I will ever buy a car there with a financing guy that talks to me that way. So 2 days later my Daughter's Fiance called to have her new tires put on her jeep she bought there and told the service guy he want the old tires back when they get them off. So me her Dad takes the car in to drop it off and I tell the service advisor that I am dropping the car off for my daughter to get her tires done. I tell him to call me when it is done. He writes my Name and Number down on the work order. And I tell him I want the old tires back for back up if one of the new ones get ruined. Dropped the car off at 1 pm my Daughter finely calls me and asks if her car was done by this time it was after 4pm. And I said I haven't herd yet. So she called and asks they tell her it has been done for awhile she ask why didn't any one call he tells her he called and told a guy it was done. We are still not sure who he called. But it was not me who he was to call. Then I get a call from the service advisor asking if I wanted the old tires back and I said yes and then tells me we'll we drilled holes in them so no one could have them. I was pissed. So he tells me he will talk to TROY BAKER service manager and have him call me. We'll that never happen go figure. So I called Him and ask what is the plans on her old tires. HE SAYS WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT YOU NEVER SAID YOU WANTED THEM BACK IN A VERY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER. Then says it is our policy to drill holes in them when customers don't want them. I told him I did. And again in a very rude attitude. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT IT FIND YOU ONE TIRE WILL THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY. I said we need to do something about this. He said we'll I will see what I can do and I will call you when I find one. Well I know Damn good and well that will never happen. IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER ABD SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC AT ALL IN MY OPINION. His office is a pit and being a manager he should show a example to employees and the customer of being organized. And do his job and call customer back and help resolve the problem not be rude to them. This dealership has gone down hill from the day it was bought. I will try to briefly describe our 4-month ordeal with the most dishonest auto dealership I've ever dealt with. Most disturbing is the way they treated a female UW college student who trusted them. Had we read their reviews first, we would have never gotten involved with Laramie Range Ford. Hopefully this review will help someone else avoid what we went through. On May 27th, 2025, our daughter purchased a used car from Laramie Range Ford. She also purchased an extended warranty. On June 27th while visiting her grandparents in Torrington she discovered fluid leaking from the engine and a bad clicking noise. She took the car to her grandfather's mechanic who told her the car had bad bearings and seals. They told her it needed a new engine and not to drive it. After multiple phone calls the dealership sent a tow truck to pick up the car on July 3rd. The car sat at the dealership for 12 days before they looked at it in spite of multiple, almost daily phone calls and visits to the service department. The serviced manager Troy failed repeatedly to return phone calls and texts!!!! Our daughter began asking for a loaner car on July 16th and Troy kept putting her off again and again. On JULY 25th Troy FINALLY gave her a Bronco loaner car. She had been without a car for a MONTH !!!! The loaner car then promptly broke down STRANDING her by the side of the road at night outside of Meeteetse! Troy had the nerve to tell her to contact another Ford dealership and get the vehicle towed and told her SHE HAD to PAY FOR IT and arrange all the details. Almost $500.00! Troy (the most dishonest person we have ever delt with. PERIOD!) said Laramie Range Ford would reimburse her. Weeks went by and Troy said the refund was tied up in corporate red tape. More lies from Troy! Flat out lies!! By September 17th after many, many, many unreturned phone calls and texts I got involved. I called and waited for Troy to get on the line. After a heated discussion during which Troy told me my call "was being recorded" ( I know that was also a lie, but boy I wish it was) I was told the check did not come from corporate and that it would be paid the next day. I asked for the General manager Nate Wysock's cell phone since he would not return our calls to his office. He refused to do that. They would not provide us with the car's service records. Final point which says it all. I asked Troy if how he would feel if his daughter was being treated the same way Laramie Range Ford was treating our daughter. Long pause and he meekly says........ "I wouldn't like it either." That says it all! Avoid this dealership. Especially if you have a son or daughter attending the University of Wyoming and looking for an honest place to buy a vehicle. Avoid our 4 MONTH ordeal. Nate, please spare me your typical response to the many negative reviews your dealership has received. Shame on you men, Troy Baker and Nate Wysock. read more

I was trying to negotiate a sale for a new truck. When I asked the sales manager on the phone for an upgrade to be negotiated in he said "no" I said I don't think we need to continue if there is no more negotiation. He hung up immediately. I would expect something like an "okay, thank you for your time" or some sort of professional ending to a conversation. Hanging up on a potential customer is terribly unprofessional. They were unwilling to negotiate with pricing or upgrades and the manager is rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't waste my time here. read more

From service to sales to parts, each team member went above and beyond to help us find the right tire and get it installed. Since there is not a Nissan dealership in Laramie, I did not know what to expect when taking a Nissan vehicle to a Ford service department. However, they did not disappoint! We've had nothing but bad experiences w this dealership. The last straw, which prompted this review, was buying a used car from them. It wasn't cheap, and we were told it had been inspected and it was in fine working order. We bought it and took it to our jeep dealership to make sure it was safe and in good condition. Unfortunately, the engine had to be flushed as a wrong fluid had been put in, it has blown head gaskets and a host of other issues. We are looking at a new engine. We are from out of state, our son's car broke down while on vacation. His car needed a complete new engine and a few other components that were damaged when the engine blew up. Not knowing where to take it, we ended up towing it to Laramie Range Ford. Mallory in service was my primary contact throughout the entire process. Not only did they reach out to the warranty company for us to help discuss all the issues, they were absolutely wonderful to communicate with during the entire process. They did a wonderful job!! My wife and I recently took our 2006 Focus into this dealership to have it diagnosed (there is a sound coming from the right rear of the car - that we believe is a wheel bearing). When the dealership called us back, they claimed that there is no issue with the wheel bearing but provided us with a list of unrelated issues that they would advise us to address - none of which have anything to do with the noise we wanted addressed (and after talking to the technician, he admitted the same). There are two issues that concern us - first, they never drove the car to listen to the noise that we are concerned about, and secondly, they hit us with a $170 bill to diagnose it (which was not disclosed to us beforehand) for items that according to them are not pressing/urgent. The fact that we would be charged for a "diagnosis" wasn't even disclosed to us. We will never visit this dealership again - bad experience - avoid at all costs. On my way home to Wisconsin from California I had some truck issues. I had just purchased a 2020 f250 diesel from a Ford dealership in California and was on a 1900 mile trip back home. I was very stressed and frustrated because I just spent alot of money. Laramie Ford was the closest dealer when my truck started throwing codes. Morgan a sales person was so kind and helpful as she lead me to there service department. There service advisor Mallory fit me into there busy schedule on a Saturday so hopefully I could get back on the road. While I waited they were more than accommodating and let me rest in an empty office by myself so I could relax. She offered me a car if I wanted to go get lunch too!!!! My truck got fixed and I got back home later that night. No more issues. I cannot say thanks enough to Morgan, Mallory and Laramie Range Ford!!!! read more

Took vehicle to Laramie Range Ford as brakes went out. Took several days to look at vehicle and get fixed. One month later same thing happened to car as they didn't install parts properly and ruined the engine second time, they refused to do anything about it. Their reasoning was that engine was bad before even though few other mechanics stated that engine was destroyed from the bolt they put on breaking. I have traveled through Laramie many times in the past 5 years, and in a variety of vehicles. The most recent trips this year required three appointments on different occasions to address oil changes, a tire rotation, and a new radiator on a Chevy Silverado 6.0L. I used the mobile service since the shop had limited availability and they came to my location first thing in the morning. All of the services were done on site except the changing of the radiator, and the truck was pulled into the shop as soon as I could get it there. The mobile service tech was knowledgeable and friendly, and very willing to take care of everything I needed for my out of state travels. When I took my vehicle into the shop, they did a full travel check, worked me in as quickly as possible, and explained the cost of services and options very clearly. All businesses have problems, bad days, and make mistakes. These appointments could have been a struggle too, but the level of communication and patience I witnessed made the process seem effortless. I will be using Laramie Range Ford as my service location anytime I'm in Laramie. The mobile service was fantastic! read more

Very disappointed with our experience. Was trying to help my 23 year old but her first car from 250 miles away. Was in contact with Morgan and she was very helpful. My daughter went to drive the car, but Morgan was busy so she was helped by another salesman. They proceeded to bombard her with numbers and questions that she doesn't know how to answer, as this is her first time and she was needing guidance. They wanted a deposit to hold the car that day, but she didn't know what to do. The next day, we struck a deal with Morgan to purchase the car and we're told we could not proceed until I could be there, as I was co-signing. So, I hopped in the car the next morning and headed down there. Halfway to Laramie, Brandon calls and tells me he's selling the car to someone else. After talking to Morgan, I get a call from Brandon that included the General Manager (who said NOTHING) and Morgan. I was told that there was nothing that could be done because we didn't leave a deposit and it didn't matter that they knew we were coming in and had agreed on a price and gotten the financing run and everything. I'm sure someone came in who offered full price and was willing to pay for all of the extras you don't need. This is RIDICULOUS! This place has lost sight of how to treat people! I have never been treated this way by any car dealership and now understand why people go all "Karen" on others. The only reason this place is getting one star is because of Morgan. She was very helpful, but got run over by Brandon and the manager. I guess this was a good lesson in trust for my daughter. read more
