***UPDATE 10/15****…read more DIMOV reached out after this review and offered a 25% (~$2300) refund if I deleted this review and used them to file my taxes next year. I countered this offer and was told by Scherie Williams on 10/2 that she would talk to her superiors and get back to me. Scherie, nor anyone else from DIMOV, has reached back out in the last two weeks. As mentioned in my review, sort these reviews by negative reviews and see how everyone has the same handful of serious issues with DIMOV. Their incompetence is not isolated to this case - you will regret letting them handle your tax issues.

I've used their income tax prep services for about 3 years now. I like that the entire process can…read moreeasily be done via email, and via their secure website portal. When it's time for me to send them my information, copies of forms, etc., they first email me a document that contains about 20 or so items/questions that I need to respond to....things like my full name/address/SS....then info on charitable contributions...stock trades/dividends, etc. The usual. It's very easy to follow along and just answer the questions, save the document and then email it back to them. Uploading copies of 1099 forms, W-2's etc to their website platform is also very easy. In mid-Feb (when it's not quite as busy as say later in March, or early May), they turned around my income tax return in under 2 weeks...and I think closer to 1 week. I definitely recommend them!

Although I had previously worked with a tax preparer who supposedly grasped the intricacies of tax law and educational credits, I found that this professional did not have the expertise I so desperately needed. I came across the same challenges with my college Financial Aid office regarding the complicated formulas of the FAFSA application. Everywhere I looked for help, I ran into a roadblock of misinformation or even no information. Finding Ms. Schweke saved me from long-term mistakes on my FAFSA for my much needed funding and grants. Her assistance was invaluable because of her unique expertise in both tax law as an Enrolled Agent and college finance through actual experience in a college financial aid office. Without her guidance, my understanding of how to navigate through the contradictory criteria and formulas would have been severely handicapped. I cannot praise Ms. Schweke highly enough for her strengths as a tax specialist and college finance expert. By her considering the student's situation from all aspects, she formulates the best plan for financial aid. She authentically cares about everyone she works with and stays with you every step of the way, offering support and direction.
