I told God one day if I could only go to one of those church my life would really change and there leadership because I believe that both of these men are true men of God. I found out that Pastor Franklin was in Gainesville but I didn't know where it was. Well I got lost one day in Gainesville and I went so far and thought I better turn around; well when I made that you turn there was Free Chapel. I have since been Baptized and going on my fourth year under his leadership. It was the best thing that has happen to me living in Georgia. I have been through some very bad times and I'm still going through but it's my connection with Free Chapel that has given me the strength to hold on. I now know God and have a relationship with him and I never had that before . My soul has been truly blessed. I'm happier than I've ever been before and it all due to learning to walk with God through the teaching of this awesome man of God. If your looking for a church home Free Chapel is the place to be. We were visiting the area, needed to find a place of worship. Drove by this church and went online…read moreto listen to the sermons - we decided to attend the Sunday service. We didn't know what to expect - the parking lot looks pretty full but we were able to find a spot close to the back entrance. They had great classes for the kids, and when we went up to the chapel, we were greeted by a bunch of warm, welcoming people. The main pastor was among one of the people who greeted us. It felt like such a welcoming place from the get-go. The music was upbeat, modern yet with some traditional hymns. The crowd was of mixed-age people, and they are all very kind and welcoming to us. We also really loved the sermon by Pastor Swan. Other than making the scripture relatable to everyday living, Mr. Swan was definitely passionate about the scriptures and the teachings of Jesus. We'll continue to attend this church while we are in town.

Coffee shop, mission trips! The mission trip I went on was fantastic, we got to stay in a resort in…read morethe Dominican Republic, food was all inclusive, all you can eat! They even arranged for locals to act as interpreters. It was like a vacation you can feel great about. A downside, or upside was that the resort had a topless beach, pastor Jeff came and sat on the beach for a while before giving a sermon. I thought that was odd, as there were topless women on the beach. But he probably just didn't look. The food was good, a few of the high schoolers gathered the two complimentary beers per room, and had a small party. They got a bit drunk, but I wasn't there to judge. This church is fantastic for networking with business people, not too many poor, few minorities, it is easy to be comfortable there. The technology is outstanding, top quality audiovisual, I'm talking speakers, cameras, projectors, lights, everything is top of the line, they spent 60k each for three sound boards! the ones they had before worked fine, but gotta give them props for getting the best! no expense spared to make sure that you are entertained. It's like a club for all the right people, just fantastic.
