We were visiting the area, needed to find a place of worship. Drove by this church and went online…read moreto listen to the sermons - we decided to attend the Sunday service. We didn't know what to expect - the parking lot looks pretty full but we were able to find a spot close to the back entrance. They had great classes for the kids, and when we went up to the chapel, we were greeted by a bunch of warm, welcoming people. The main pastor was among one of the people who greeted us. It felt like such a welcoming place from the get-go. The music was upbeat, modern yet with some traditional hymns. The crowd was of mixed-age people, and they are all very kind and welcoming to us. We also really loved the sermon by Pastor Swan. Other than making the scripture relatable to everyday living, Mr. Swan was definitely passionate about the scriptures and the teachings of Jesus. We'll continue to attend this church while we are in town.

While is says baptist here, it didn't feel like most baptist churches I have have been to in the past. I don't know this church's past, but perhaps it was one of those churches that gets "born again" and updates its model for the current generation. i liked it's slogan; "a perfect church for people who aren't". It seemed real and not just a shtick. The people were nice and friendly and the Spirit of God seemed to be evident. both of the pastors I talked to were very nice and approachable. I had some pleasant discussions with them and one even offered to get together for lunch if I had time while I was here in town. The message was relevant and it hit home on a couple of points. Godly advice; what it is and is not and how to recognize it. the campus is new and has any open layout as is the sanctuary. It is all very inviting. I went to the 9am service and it was a smaller group w/ an intimate feel during the worship. Definitely somewhere I would recommend and go if I lived here.
