Despite the 1 bad review, Bill has been in the crystal business going right to the source--not the…read moreshows as everyone else-- for longer than most of these people had even thought about selling crystals. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He knew Marcel Vogal and most dealers are either lying or being fooled, as very few should be allowed to be called Vogal because there are only 1 or 2 of his original students on the planet. They weren't the 'IBM' guy that copies, Marcel understood energy and it's importance to healing the human, and that was a part of his training. I have bought many unusual pieces from Bill's shop for over a dozen years and each one is special. People try to buy them from me. Bill is definitely a no-nonsense guy, and if he feels like he is being 'used' will be curt. As one guy with a big website selling fake Vogels, he picked his brain and then took his info, some right off his website and used it on his. I don't have a problem if someone says, 'Vogal like', as one honest dealer said, but again last week I went into a crystal shop in Bend, Oregon and the guy was lying to the woman about a Vogal crystal. He was charging a big price. Hopefull the woman that owns the store was just ignorant and not training her people to lie. Bill only knows me by sight, so no, he knows not that I am writing this. If he was better at merchandising, his shop would be the best.

I don't write reviews but these people are something. Talked with the owner briefly on the phone…read moreinquiring about vogel crystals as I was planning on buying one. When I asked if they were hand carved by one of a couple original carvers he just said they were the real deal as he had worked with Marcel in the past, which I accepted and proceded to ask if the larger crystals were rare and if they only had a few coming in a year or if they were more common now. I wanted to know because in a previous conversation several months back I was told they were all out of the large vogels and to check back in the spring. Well being summer now I thought I'd find out. Apparently three or four important questions about a crystal costing upwards of $10,000 were to many as I was told that he wouldn't talk with me anymore because I was clearly some sort of shady dealer and not looking for a crystal for myself, despite the fact that I straight up told him that I wasn't a dealer and the purpose of just getting some info for myself prior in the conversation. You know, something a normal person would do before dropping 10 grand. Not only are these guys extremely rude, but accused me of flat out lieing. Impressively negative for a crystal store. Will NEVER shop here, and anyone sensitive to energy especially in crystals I would advise the same.

This is not the correct address. They moved to the old pharmacy location on Main and…read moreE. Lake. Okay this may help, they are right next door to Cedar Lanes bowling. We were up in Weed for a do nothing weekend because quite frankly thats what we yearn for at times. Of course, looking for something to do, we took a tour of Main St. and wanted to note any changes. Well one of the positive changes has been the move of the College of the Siskiyou's (COS) thrift shop. The new location is bright, clean and airey. One of the volunteers gave me tour of their new building, (2) dressing rooms, and complete with washer dryer. Now how many thrift shops have that! The ladies were helpful and friendly, the young man working the register was also friendly and helpful. They only keep clothes and items which are in good condition, they bag up and sell in bulk the rest. Small selection of jewelry and other items. Prices were very fair and go to a good cause. As one of the volunteer ladies stated..."we are the Macy's of Weed! "

This was my experience a few days ago: The store has been rearranged and it looks nice. They have…read morethe tendency to place decorative items inside of baskets , giving the impression that the price s inclusive of all items in the basket. No signs saying that the price is for the basket only. When you get to the register, the staff acts weird as if a major problem has occurred. Then the manager comes to the front to inform that the price is for the basket ?!? Really, then why don't you identify the decorative items as such?!? Very annoying! Yesterday, I returned I noticed that the prices very unusual higher than previous days. I was interested in purchasing an item and was taking a final walk around before purchasing the item. All of a sudden, this guy comes up to me and hand signals that they are closing in 3 minutes. Waving three fingers in the air as if I was deaf? Really, it felt awkward and weird . Who does that?!? I left without buying anything. Customer service, regardless if it's a high end store or a local thrift shop is vital. Customers need to feel welcomed and comfortable while shopping! Otherwise, they will not patronize the store. Not sure if I'll will return.
