There is plenty of choice, with new best sellers being available for one week loan, with most books being three weeks. If its a certain book you are after you can register online and order the book in for collection and also online you can renew. The staff are friendly and helpful too. It does need a little bit of tlc as the interior is a bit dated but it kinda adds to the charm of the place. Also if have time go upstairs to the art gallery asits worth a ponder too.

But it's a nice place to bring your kids, and there is a childrens library located next door. Make sure you check the hours on the web if you have never been, sometimes they are closed for lunch or on odd days. It is a nice educational activity for kids and adults alike.

Computer/printer and internet access at not cost to library members as i think most librarys are now ?? millions upon millions of books to choose from and if the one you want isnt there, the staff will order it for you and it take on average 3 days to get to you and they call you when they have the item requested again i think most library do this now a great library and very present to spend time in, these again have events for children, a day care center i worked for often took groups of children in for story days and activity afternoons things like that. lovely atmosphere !

However, i wouldnt advice going in if your looking for something specific and particularly modern. I went in recently for 'The Hunger Games' for a neighbour of mine and they didnt have it. I would say the library caters mostly for the elderly members of Tickhill, so if you are a younger member of society and have an interest in spiritual or ancient historical books id stick to amazon.com.
