They have promised a re vamp for that last few years, but the empty plot for the new bus station has been used for a car park for a few years! I think it needs to get moving and knock this down!

Grey, windy, and chav infested, it provides the worst possible gateway to a town you could imagine, and could only be worse if, for example, every traveller received a free Gary Glitter CD and a kick in the teeth. Really, the best thing for the place is for it to be torn down and a new bus station to be built from scratch. In the mean time, get off a stop earlier. Hopefully, that way, you won't get stabbed and your wallet stolen by a chav.

The library carries a large range of books for all ages, and offers the facility to order books in from any other Derbyshire library. You can also reserve books that are currently out on loan. They regularly get new books in stock, and offer incentives to young members to read. They also loan music CD's, and DVD's, including childrens DVD's, at a very reasonable rate, cheaper than the local video shop! On set days of the month they do Storytime for Under 5's, which is always nice. And the local Sure Start group hold craft sessions for under 6's there too.
