I was quoted almost $900 to snake the toilet. When I said I wasn't paying that much, I was then quoted $506 to snake it through a drain. The snaking took literally 3 minutes, after my wife was told to do several things in another toilet in the house herself. $98 was charged for "products". The only "product" used or provided was Roto-Rooter preventative pipe shield. 1 gallon. Walmart sells it for $20. For what I was charged for a 3 minute job, I could have bought a plumbing snake and a years supply of the "product" I was sold. I'm beginning to think the plumbing community is filled with companies who take advantage of customers and charge ridiculous prices for jobs that don't require the cost. I won't use them again after this experience. My drain is fixed and the man was nice but I don't like being raked over the coals financially for minimal work.

They promised they'd have all work done in four days....maybe five. I was doubtful, but by the end of the first day, I could tell he was right. The team was quick, courteous, and the whole project was done in four days. Not only that but Clint helped work with insurance on my behalf to make sure all aspects were covered. He advocated for us to make sure it was all taken care of and took care of things I was overwhelmed in dealing with. He was way more help than our adjuster was. Now, two months into this process with an insurance-approved bid, all I have to show for it is a bathroom with exposed studs, which reveal my attic and roof due to the removal of shower tiles and goo God only knows what else- which most was done during their first visit two months ago. Additionally, during the demolition second phase, no protective measures were taken as promised in the estimate. Sheetrock and tile debris fell into the basement where my vehicle is parked. All doors were left wide open, allowing dust from the Sheetrock and tile removal to cover my entire bedroom and hallway. The workers even had to use Google Translate to ask for a broom and cleaning supplies. In the midst of their so-called "cleaning," I discovered my neatly made bed being used as a resting place for a plunger and a broken shower glass door.
