Shelby County, Alabama...........Precision was the third local tree service we have used in the past few years. The first two were not satisfactory. Now that we have used Precision, it will be our choice for any future tree service. They were neatly dressed, and they wore appropriate safety items. The removed a very large oak tree and a very large hickory tree; and, removed dead branches from a third tree. They arrived at 7:00 a.m.; removed the trees and limbs; cleaned up all the debris; blew off the driveway; and, were gone before noon. Fantastic job!!! This was the second time that Juston and his team have been out for us, this time taking out a massive White Oak that was less than 10 feet from our home. It was tearing up a roof, driveway and retaining wall. Multiple other companies required the destruction of my retaining wall and shrubs, with no guarantees around the sprinkler system under those shrubs. Juston and his team destroyed nothing, he said they wouldn't, and expertly removed this 125ft+ Oak within 3 hours. Also kudos for Juston's patience in answering all of my questions. We had a lot, he handled them all and really put our minds at ease. They made everything look effortless but you can tell there are decades of knowledge and skill behind what Juston and his team do. I will start with the Good and finish with the Bad. They cut down and removed all of the trees they were supposed to. They ground all but one of the stumps that they were supposed to. They worked hard and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. Now the bad. Their estimator did not have any ribbon to mark the trees to be cut or trimmed so he was supposed to come back later that day and do it. He did not. I called him the next day and he said he would be out to mark the trees. Unfortunately he did not use ribbon he used paint so my trees that were to be trimmed not removed now each have yellow paint on them. I asked can you start on Wednesday or Thursday and was told yes. They did not show up on Wednesday so I called to make sure they would be there Thursday and was told absolutely. They did not show up on Thursday so I called again and was told we will be there on Friday. The owner showed up on Friday and looked at the work to be done and immediately said he would not honor the price. After renegotiating the price and getting to work they broke several of my sprinkler heads that I had marked with flags, broke out a window and cracked my sidewalk. The stump grinder the next day broke the bottom pane out of the same window. I was so sick of messing with them I agreed to fix the window myself for a negotiated price reduction that may not cover the cost. When it came time to pay I told Justin I wanted to pay by credit card he protested and demanded a credit card fee from me. I explained that I had asked his estimator when he first came out if I could pay by credit card and he said yes but never mentioned a fee. I had to pay by check to avoid the fee. The trees are cut, the debris is gone and the stumps were ground but I will NEVER use these guys again. read more

Fantastic service! I had a two foot diameter tree less than three feet from my house and they took it down without a scratch on the house or roof. I also had two Japanese maples that they had to squeeze by to get to the tree and also to remove the trunk. Not a twig was broken on the maples. After they finished there wasn't a sign that they had used heavy equipment in my yard. Couldn't ask for better service. read more

These guys were awesome. They were very professional; seemed like they worked non-stop. The clean up was amazing. They even blew off the few tiny limbs and leaves that were on the roof. My yard has never been that leaf free. They asked me several times if everything looked okay. They arrived at the expected time; very courteous and polite.
