You can write 1000 reviews and nothing will change. Searching to find a single word for this hotel,…read morebut there are so many one could use; lazy, rude, greedy, unwilling, self absorbed... They just don't care. They are running this hotel into the ground, in it to make the money and nothing else. There are no other hotels in Grafton so one is forced to stay here. I've had to stay here twice a year for 10 years now. In the beginning it was good until new management took over. The bar and food closed down. They use to make great homemade pizzas that were worth looking forward too. The hot tub has never been open and the pool is hit or miss. The rooms are dirty, appears they barely ran a vacuum over the floors. They should shampoo the carpets. Holes in the ceiling down the halls, daylight showing between the wall mounted heater/AC. Fingerprints on the furniture in the room tell you they did not wipe anything down. When you first walk in there is usually someone sitting at the front desk on their phone and others just standing around. Sidewalks are not shoveled. Basically there are a lot of things that could be done to improve this hotel, but there is absolutely no effort to do so. When you see the rates go up you're optimistic that maybe they have made some updates to improve the property, but it appears it is only to pad their pocket book.

I would **NOT recommend this hotel** based on our experience…read more We had a crew staying here for MANY weeks while working on a job in the area. Eventually, one of our crew members reached out to let us know that their rooms were rarely cleaned during their week-long stays, and their sheets were not changed even once. Unfortunately, our experience with the manager/owner was just as disappointing. The way I was spoken to on the phone was extremely rude and degrading. I was repeatedly talked over, and there seemed to be absolutely no willingness to listen to or address our concerns. Customer service and professionalism were seriously lacking. After spending a significant amount of money housing our employees here for multiple weeks, we ultimately decided to stop booking with this hotel and move our crew to the Cobblestone instead. The difference has been night and day, and we've had a wonderful experience there. When a company is providing you with consistent, long-term business, basic cleanliness and respectful customer service shouldn't be too much to expect. Unfortunately, neither was provided here.
