When we found out we were overdue, I called every septic company we could find online and by word of mouth. The woman who answered our call at koberlein was FANTASTIC. She answered every question we had about everything from what we needed to do, to what we needed for our community, to pricing and when their driver could come out. She explained that they do the inspection, and will pump if need be, but if it needed pumping, they ONLY charge for the pumping and not the inspection, which was WONDERFUL compared to other companies we called. Their prices were VERY competitive and we couldn't refuse the services. Today, their driver (Matt) came out and before he even got started he ensured I knew what exactly he was doing and what he needed to do. He talked me through every step of the process and the "what ifs" that were possible. Once he gave the all clear for our septic he gave me some tips and tricks to help take better care of our septic system and handed over all the paperwork I needed to show we had the inspection done and our system passed. As a first time home owner, we get a lot of crap for not knowing things, and people tend to "look down" on us for asking so many questions about things. I mean, we ARE first time homeowners and we're new at this. But koberlein didn't skip a beat in making sure we were confident with their services. They answered all of our questions, completely and honestly, and never made us feel like we were "silly or stupid" for asking. I would not recommend Strictly Septic for home septic inspections. He showed up two hours late to…read moreour appointment. We had already left because we live far away and had a small time window. He did the inspection without us there. The septic had a problem, but instead of failing it and letting us know, he made a deal with the homeowner to fix it for them. When we tried to call him, he did not answer for days. When he finally did, he was rude and said since we were not paying him anymore, he did not need to answer us. He never gave us the inspection report. The work he did on the septic was poor. He used cheap (rock-filled) soil. We had to spend another $1,000 to fix it. Save yourself the stress and do not use them for septic inspections.

Chuck Sweed came out to our home on an emergency call. While installing the new septic, he…read morediscovered a deep sink hole. Rather than back filling the sink hole with rock and making sure the ground was stable, he backfilled it with dirt which collapsed at the first big rain. He placed the Dbox at the edge of the sink hole, with the distribution pipe going across the sink hole. When the ground gave way, the system cracked and broke. When contacted, Chuck claimed this was not his responsibility. When I harrassed him enough, he came out and said the hole was not big deal, the system was fine and he'd fill it, which he never did. Got bids from two other companies both of whom said he failed to backfill the sinkhole properly before installing the system and that the pipes and dbox cracked. We paid the new company to do it right. Chuck Sweed is dishonest, does not stand by his work nor does he care about the customer. Avoid this company like the plague!

We initially contacted this company for septic pump out and gray water pump out we were quoted the…read morecost for both which was reasonable. My husband in preparation for the technician dug the dirt out for easy access of septic and slid the lid aside for the gray water pump out. Well, when the technician arrived I watched from inside my home, the first thing the technician did was look at the dugout septic and then walked to the gray water lid and moved it shut then proceeded to ONLY pump the septic tank and left. I immediately phoned my husband and explaining that the gray water wasn't pumped which is what we initially wanted and paid for. My husband called the company, the technician came racing back angered and slid the heavy cement lid aside (which was open in the first place) proceeded to pump then pushed the lid on top by slamming it closed broke the side of the bottom lid leaving a 10 inch break. We contacted the company and they told us that they would send someone to come look at the damage, no one showed.. I have 2 bully dogs that were stuck inside for 6 hours on a beautiful day because of their negligence. Now we have a broken lid and to no avail will this company take responsibility. This was on 10/18/23. We will NEVER used this company again they are not reliable, trustworthy and liars.. horrible customer service!!
