I developed a rare, serious condition and her office got me an urgent-care appointment near my home right away when I called after-hours. I had to be hospitalized that nite and Dr. Lamprey called the next day to make sure I was okay and provide information and recommendations for next steps. I was able to get an appointment with her for a few days later to follow-up and when I needed regular follow-up testing for the next few weeks I didn't have trouble being seen. For routine appointments I think there was often a few-month backlog but that seems to be normal for doctors in the area (happens with my current doctor as well). Dr. Lamprey provided great care and was easy to talk to and I'd definitely recommend her as a physician.

First you have to wait at least 30 minutes beyond your scheduled appointment and then when they call you and you don't answer but are asked to return the call, they don't call back! We all know that the health care system is broken, but someone is making a ton of money.......Harbor Medical! If all businesses were run this way most would be out of business. We really are NOT important to them, what is important is our Health Insurance and then paying the outrageous bills they send. Awful!!!

The woman acknowledge the mistake The woman told me to come anyway. I explained I had made plans after I received the cancellation. Staff still pressured me telling me that "We have to get our practice running". I told the staff member I had to check my schedule. She called me a jerk as she was hanging up. I'm currently dealing with a stressful medical situation and I can't get anyone to call back so that I can get an order for follow up, and have had no follow up or contact from the doctor on context or next steps for further diagnostics. Two thumbs down.

I just spent 3 weeks at Life Care Center of the South Shore in Scituate and it was wonderful! I had…read moremy left knee replaced and I needed to go somewhere where I could get therapy and they would make me work hard. I wanted to get strong, learn to walk and go home and that is exactly what I got. We accomplished that. I appreciated that they did my laundry and they did it well. The facility was clean, it smelled good, and all the staff were nice and kind. At first I hurt so much and couldn't move, but the staff were gentle and understanding. Now I can move around and do everything I need to do to go home and take care of myself. I can even walk with a cane. I am having my other knee replaced in April so I hope you will save a bed for me!
