As I was starting a new job, I needed to have blood work sent to the HR Department. The entire…read moreprocess was easy and logical. I made my appointment on their website and was looking for early hours, I was able to find one at 8 am. I got there at 7:55 before my 8 am appointment and went to the kiosk where I provided my ID and insurance info. Less than 2 minutes later, a very friendly employee came out, greeted me and walked me back to the room where I would be having my blood drawn. I handed her my paperwork from my employer, and she processed everything, drew my blood, and I was out of there in 15 minutes. The technician who drew my blood was an expert and it did not hurt at all. She found my vein quickly, drew two viles of blood, and bandaged me up. A fantastic well run organization. The only thing that would make it an A+ operation is better signage, it is a two level elevator building with over 50 businesses in it, from investment bankers to accountants. It did take me over 7 minutes to find its location.

Early morning appointments are easiest. The staff here are friendly and very efficient. This labcorp location has some of the best staff as I personally have very small veins. I actually ended up running late and arrive 30 minutes past my appointment, but it was not a problem. Set inside a little strip area. I found parking right away and came in and checked in via the kiosk. I waited just a couple of minutes before I was called up to hand over my script. The lady was pleasant and quickly move through the documents and the process. I went right in to get my blood drawn and once again I dealt with a lovely lady who seemed genuinely to enjoy her job. Process overall was easy and no concerns coming back here.

After examining my husband, the doctor told us he could either call an ambulance immediately or go to the emergency room at Good Samaritan which thankfully was only 2 blocks away. The Tech said something was wrong, to come on in. after that, no workers came to the door for anyone in over 40 minutes!!! you do not have contact with anyone there. the Door window is all taped up with paper & locked. you just sit in a room in front, and hope someone will come out of the Back to help you. Customer Service does not exist at this office, there are no people to talk to & nobody to help you here. so i made an appointment for the end of the month. The staff has always processed us through rather quickly. If some people are experiencing a long wait time, it may be because the doctors take their time with patients. An emergency appointment can cut into their schedule and back up appointments. People have to expect that occasional problem and realize that they would also want the doctor to take the time if they were to experience such an emergency unscheduled appointment.
