He really takes time and talks to his patients like individuals. He is old school and hands-on; he looks at me instead of a computer monitor. A fan of Dr Andrew Weil, he encourages his patients to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. He is very knowledgable about diet and supplements, advice which he himself follows. He's happy to share labels of healthy brands of chocolate & snacks, and can give you some shopping tips and recipes! Wonderful physician.

I went there filled out forms. I showed the stupid receptionist a white card the state sent me. It was medicaid. I was supposed to be covered . 5 min before I saw the Dr she tells me the Dr won't see me cause I didn't meet me deductible. She tells me the Dr isn't getting paid by Medicare. Guess he had no compassion. Money is all that office cares about. He is in the wrong profession. What a disgrace to Dr's who do the right thing

His staff appear young yet are rude and slow as molasses. I was assigned this doctor when I changed insurance companies and so I'll admit this wasn't my choice of provider, regardless of how close to home it is. No matter the hour, a television blares reruns of Montell Jordan's talk show at an irritatingly loud volume, which manages to permeate the labyrinthian paths considered the waiting area. **When I ventured to ask how long the wait was given I had arrived 10 min early, I was laughed at by another patient and told three patients were ahead of me.** I honestly am only giving this practice three stars because Dr. Adair, who I finally got to speak to after waiting an hour, seems kind and well intentioned. I wasn't there for a physical either, just some antibiotics for a common bacterial infection. There's simply no respect exchanged between the staff and the patients unless you accept that you're trapped in a dark cave (all windows are closed and covered) listening to terrible daytime television because if you try shutting it out with your EarPods, you'll miss them calling your name. This is what Purgatory must feel like.

I agreed, thinking he must have an overarching plan. From what you'll read below, he did. I'll admit his " adjustments" gave me a modicum of initial relief. Fair. What I did not anticipate was the absurdly surreal marketing poster in his office that unconvincingly portrays how ill you'll become ( and remain) utterly compromised without lifelong chiropractic care. Or his slowness of wit, his callousness, his con, or all three combined. He " recommended" I come in 3 times/ week for a month @ $80/ per. I immediately quipped:, : " that's $1000!!" He retorted: " No. Let's see". He pulled out an ancient calculator and started pounding away. After what seemed like a revisiting of the Cambrian era, he summarily drawled " $960." I balked and walked out. Later I found out that types like him in chiropractic practice give kickbacks to sources in their " referral network". In my case, at a high cash price to the patient. My peers in the waiting room were all elderly. Although I cannot prove it, I strongly suspect Medicare fraud. Talk about a schtick.

This boggles my mind because to make a diagnosis, the doctor needs to get data from the patient. I get it though. Everyone likes to talk. And doctors like to talk about how much they know. I also notice that a lot of doctors like to "control" the visit. They dictate how the interaction goes. They ask the questions, and the patients must obediently answer. This wasn't the case with Dr. Iyer. He listens to what you have to say. And he seems understanding and kind. Of course, I might be wrong since this was only over 1 visit. I'll update this review if this changes. STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT He has a nice X-ray machine that scans your body right away. And his office is very nice. Although this really doesn't say much about his medical expertise, it does show that he's diligent. He's on top of things. SUPPORT STAFF - GLORIA She's got to be the nicest support staff that I've met. Extremely helpful. Doesn't just pass you off to someone else or another office. Really wants to make sure you are taken care of. Unfortunately, my experience with support staff at doctors' offices are very positive. I think most just don't care. The job is just a paycheck. Moreover, they seem to have a chip on their shoulders, and they can be pretty abrasive. I find most make the process so much more difficult and tedious. Gloria won't. The doctor should be careful that another office doesn't poach her.
