We have used Lane Cleaning Services for many years now. I have had a few different cleaners over the years but Lane Cleaning is the best!! They do a very thorough job and always leave my house spotless. It is so nice to come home after they've been here - everything looks great. The kitchen is the best with all the appliances meticulously cleaned. Curtis is easy to work with and responds quickly to messages. I would definitely recommend Lane Cleaning Services!! read more

They consistently do a good job and the owners are very responsive and quick to address any concerns or issues, if any. I have used them four or more times now and I am very happy with the work hey do. The owners show they care a lot about the work performed and it shows in their employees. The service has gone above and beyond my requests and will meet or even surpass expectations. I was nearly moved to tears as I came home into a super-clean space last time they cleaned my apartment. It is nice to come home from a long, hard day at work and be able to truly relax in a clean, neat, and orderly home. Very good job and consistently so. The owners promptly addressed any concerns or questions I had. Very responsive and they work to ensure a good job. read more

Showed up an hour late and only did an hour of cleaning (though I was told they would do 2 hours of work). They did a very incomplete job and then asked to be paid full price even though they only worked for one hour. Complete rip-off and had to hire someone else do a full job. read more

I would give Lane cleaning services 0 stars if I had a choice. They are not very professional, hard to contact, not very responsive (despite leaving several voicemails) and not upfront with what they can deliver. I recently contacted them to do a clean up of my apartment last week based on the reviews on Yelp. Curtis Lane gave me a quote of a $150 for the first time and we decided to set up regular bi-weekly cleaning if I liked their work the first time. Not once did they mention a $300 service charge to drive to Cupertino from Menlo Park. Apparently, cleaning services are now zip code snobs. I had to reschedule to a later week and not only were they completely unresponsive but when I did get in touch with them, Curtis Lane mentioned the $300 service fee. This makes me think that a) they are not super interested in my business, b) routinely conduct business with bait and switch methods and c) would not be very reliable if I were to have hired them. I have found someone else (also from the Menlo Park area) that does not use these bait and switch methods and are competitive with Lane Cleaning and am happy to go ahead with them. read more

So they did a decent cleaning job BUT... They billed over the discussed pricing. When confronted he stuttered. I'm missing a bunch of brand new kitchen accessories, I've had cleaners for years and whatever is in the sink gets washed and dried not thrown out... and the owner came everyday without calling to harass us for payment. How was I supposed to leave a check when you didn't know how long it would take or offer to come give a quote??? Unprofessional. Anybody can clean. Customer device is where it's at these days. I won't be coming back here. I honestly think I was overcharged because if my zip code... Lying to and stalking your clients is a no go for me. read more

Lane Cleaning did a move in clean for me. I was well pleased with the job. The place needed much attention. The windows were so clean that a bird actually did fly into the window not realizing that it was glass in front of him. I highly recommend them! read more

Curtis Lane's team of cleaners are exceptional. They did a deep clean on my place which made a visible difference. I have also used them for clients when getting a home ready to sell and I have always been impressed with their work. read more

We did use Lane Cleaning Service after we moved for a clean out after living there for over two years. One thing I need to point out is that if something got broken, they fixed it. We had a tub that was really old and the stopper would pull out. They got a plumber to fix it and that was their dime. So, I am pretty loyal. I do get a text the day before on timing of when they should be arriving. I have dogs so it is best to know. The clean out was great and we got our deposit back, no problem at all. This house was tricky because it had a lot of hardwood floors and we had dogs with big claws. We covered the floors with area rugs but cleaning was just a hassle with the different flooring needs and added dog fluff. I would say also that if you have an event at your home, they can accommodate you if you get in touch way ahead of time so everything is sparkling. read more

Curtis and his crew came to my house and did a great move out clean up! I got my entire security deposit back! Cha ching!

I was very pleased with the cleaning that Lane Cleaning Services did. I was moving into a three bedroom home that needed lots of love and care. The service cleaned the place excellently. Both a squirrel and a bird ran into my patio window because they did not realize that it was a window it was so clean! There was no way I could have done this by myself. I would highly recommend them to anyone (home or church)! read more

I've personally used Lane Cleaning Services and referred him to friends over the years. No one has ever been dissatisfied. Friendly, competent staff, many of whom have been employed by him for years. Can't go wrong with Lane. read more

Did a terrific job. I was really impressed by how they went into every area to clean. THANKS!

Lane has been cleaning my home for more than ten years and I freely recommend them to friends. Curtis Lane's cleaning crew is friendly, efficient and thorough. At times they have to work around a project-in-process, which they accommodate cheerfully. My office is in my home and they are careful to disturb me as little as possible. From time to time Lane has also cleaned windows inside and out, especially on the second floor. I trust Lane and their staff and I always look forward to being in my home right after they leave, when everything is still sparkling and fresh smelling. These folks are the best. read more

Godawful. Unprofessional and non-communicative owner who is an absolute nightmare to work with. Save your energy and money.

I'm new to Yelp, but felt like I should sign up for an account and leave a review for Lane and his team. After heavy remodel work at our new home, it was covered in dust and I was stressed out about finding a team who could really do a DEEP clean. Lane was the first to call me back and his team arrived, ready for action. When he told me it would take 5 hours to clean our place, I didn't believe it. But, they worked continuously the whole time and the place was immaculate. I paid exactly what was quoted - no fuss, no muss. He's an honest businessman who has pride in his work and business. I will call Lane again when we need a deep clean in our home. Fantastic work! read more

Fingerprints and smudges were not removed from pantry cabinets. They overbilled the pricing that Curtis discussed with me. They would not come to give me an estimate. I rely on service and tradespeople in my profession. I will definitely not use them again. read more

I had them do a move out clean for me and it wasn't really that thorough of a job. I had to ask them to redo parts of the bathroom, but it still wasn't that clean afterward. I had to go back and clean really obvious things that they had missed. The price wasn't the most expensive, but it wasn't the cheapest. I wouldn't hire them again. read more

Excellent cleaning services, they did a fantastic job i will forsure have them come and clean my house again .

Curtis is wonderful to deal with as far as communication goes. When I called for a quote, I was fine with paying on the high end as far as hourly rates, I really just need a job well done. My rating would be lower than 3 stars, but I am trying to be considerate of having them come into a less than perfect situation; my clients were ill-prepared and still getting their final items out of the home, but they were out before the cleaners had finished. Still, if they had done a final walk through, they would have seen that they had completely missed the kitchen appliances, but they did come back the following day. There were light fixtures that obviously hadn't been touched (very dusty and dead flies in the dome), and I just left feeling that the high price point didn't make a difference in the quality of the cleaning. It also ended up costing double what was quoted, so it would be nice if they could estimate more accurately. read more

Lane Cleaning did a terrific job on my rental room. The shower was so filthy I thought I'd have to replace it, but when Lane was through with it, it looked new. They got the stains off the carpet, and they got the dust and grit and dead bugs out of all the corners. Everything gleams. There was no problem setting up the appointment--they came the day after I called, worked steadily for four hours, and finished the job. I would recommend them without reservation. read more
