DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!…read more Dustin and his "uncle" have swindled me out of about $2000 indicating that they could service an engine that they could not service. Then convincing me to buy a new engine that they installed. When the car overheated, Dustin gave wrong advice on how to keep the car from overheating. And we are now having to get every seal replaced in the newer engine. Bolts were missing, including all for the motor mount. I am now having to spend that money again to get the engine repaired. Edited to remove the he said she said but still would like to know why he cared what her parents (me and her dad) do for a living... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND COMPANY! Take this for what it's worth - if you want a response after he does crappy work and blocks you, a review is the only way to get a response from him. Maybe he could call and discuss this like a reputable company instead of asking his uncle for permission to take accountability and make a refund. Dustin - My messages show that I picked it up on 2/2 and on 2/3 my daughter texted that she was broke down on the side of the road. Your response was that you would pick it up with your tow truck. On the 5th you picked it up. On 2/7 you recommended wiring the car to have fans in at all times because he couldn't get them to turn on when the temp hits "210" degrees. As far as waiting this long to write a review, I have had it in the shop for a month getting seals placed, and bolts added that were neglected on your part, Dustin. I'm still waiting on the total so expect in the next month an update with a total of how much your inadequacies cost me.

My car broke down on a Saturday and I thought I had a dead battery. I searched through Yelp reviews…read moreand noticed this business was locally owned and had a lot of positive reviews. Dustin agreed to meet me to replace the battery on site but after showing up he discovered it was the starter. I thought he would just tow me to a shop but he got the part for me after trying several parts stores and replaced it in the parts parking lot. His price was extremely reasonable and he was polite, professional and worked quickly. I will 100% call him again! Thanks, Dustin!

Our engine seized just outside exit 53 on 95 South. Our insurance company could only find one guy…read morewho said he would take 2 hours to get to us. If you've ever been stuck on 95 with about three inches between you and the line between the shoulder and the highway, you know 2 hours isn't nearly fast enough. We had Geico look up S&S because they were the closest company that provides towing. S&S is in Geico's system, but William (the owner) didn't answer Geico when they first called. We tried again on our own and it was a giant stroke of luck that William answered. He was prompt in arriving, professional in getting our truck and trailer loaded, and kind enough to have his wife meet us at his business to take us to a hotel. Getting the truck issues resolved is taking some time, given that we were 6.5 hours from home and 3.5 hours from our destination. Through it all, William has been more than fair and has helped us in every way that he can. This is an honest business owner who has gone out of his way to assist us. I don't know what we would have done without his help. For context, the desk in his office is covered in letters from people he's helped over the years reporting similar experiences.

I broke down In a small town on a Sunday right off of I-95. I called my roadside assistance…read moreservice and they began working on it. We were going to have my vehicle towed 21 miles but the shop was closed so we wanted to reroute my vehicle 7 miles further. S & S was going to charge my insurance company $475 for the first 21 miles and me $200 for the remaining 7 miles. Price gouging at its finest!

I am surprised to see the negative reviews below. I have used this auto center for oil changes in…read morethe past and, sometimes, it is busy and thus, you can be waiting for a while. That being said, it's not always that way. For example, today, I went in for a high mileage oil change and asked for an air filter change as well. While they were working on my car, they discovered that I actually had a very expensive K&M air filter and said that rather than go to the huge expense of saving it, I could probably just spend $11.00 to clean it. (I ended up getting a new filter anyway, per my husband's request, but I thought it was awesome that they were looking out for the customer.) Delmar (the service representative), Michael (the mechanic), and the checkout service employee (whose names I did not catch, but may be Christopher...but I'm not sure. Nice young man in a tie!) were friendly, professional and got me out of there asap! The check-in, which has changed since I last visited, was very streamlined and I think it helped a great deal with expediting everyone's service. I have purchased tires here and have had service here for a few years now and, again, while it is sometimes slow, I have never had a bad experience here.

The hours are more convenient than other tire places. It's the only place in Walterboro that you…read morecan get a tire on a Sunday. Even with that it is still very much a last choice option for me. Very slow service and employees that just don't care. I watched more riding the clock than I did work. I also think that they should only deal with customers that are in need of products and service related to that section. I had to wait a terribly long time while a bunch of customers used them to buy their groceries and had no reason to be back there, other than trying to skip the lines up front.
