Called on LandTeck again last week (3/24/25). Service Team was able to get out same day. Needed new front (yard) inground irrigation valve -- old valve was 20 years old.. The pricing was so good, I had them pro-actively replace my rear (yard) irrigation valve. Fast, clean, high quality work! Called on LandTeck to replace my entire irrigation system (5/8" tubing, feeder tubes, sprinkler heads, PVB valves) in December 2018 ... fantastic work and excellent value/price. See review further below. ---------------------------------- December 2018 Review I recently invited a phone-screened short list of three (3) contractors to my home to bid on the replacement of irrigation lines on the my property as well as plus the replacement of in-ground valves (2) and above-ground PVB - the system is now 14 years old and we were chasing problems. Carlos / LandTeck was the only contractor (of the 3) that showed up on time, offered objective/useful information on several approaches, promptly emailed the most detailed bid (2 contractors committed to price in writing, Carlos was the most specific), and offered the best price-to-value value proposal. We selected LandTeck for the reasons above and Carlos accommodated our schedule for the work. After further reflection and our comfort level with our experience to-date, we decided to use Carlos to simultaneously replace our landscape light wiring, upgrade our the landscape lighting to LEDs, plant 2-3 dozen plants, add a flagstone pathway, and refresh our rock. As expected (but verified), Carlos' updated the bid with highly competitive pricing and a detailed proposed approach & bid -- i.e., I was not taken for granted. The crew showed up for the scheduled days, was on time each day, worked diligently until sunset each day, cleaned up each evening, and checked in before departing. As usual with home improvement projects, we uncovered several site-specific challenges along the way as well as additional problems. The supervisor (Francisco and/or Fernando) was always quick to alert me, provide options (if any), allow us to make decisions (if available), and keep our outlays to a minimum. Note that several issues (e.g., a leaky PVC pipe about a foot away from the PVB) resulted in no additional costs - definitely not my usual contractor experience. The entire crew and Carlos were always on top of the project. The LandTeck professionals genuinely sought to ensure that I was kept apprised throughout the project and that our landscaping objectives (structurally and cosmetically) met or exceeded our goals. I highly recommend LandTeck for similar work and intend to have them return to submit a proposal for my Paver-Patio. This company does not communicate well or professionally. We received several quotes from different landscapers to remove rocks from our backyard and decided to go with LandTek because they were the most affordable. However, the work they gave us a quote for was incorrect and so when the workers showed up they were not prepared. We also had to do the majority of communicating to get them scheduled. The response we received when they did finally confirm they were able to come was also flimsy and unprofessional. We also did not receive a call from them on the day to let us know they were on their way, which is a standard customer service courtesy. After the workers left to we reached out to our contact and let them know that the work they quoted us was incorrect. We did not receive a phone call back apologizing for the inconvenience or mistake, nor was there any effort to get the work re-quoted or rescheduled. In short this company has poor communication & poor customer service, and I would not reach out to them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

LandTeck was amazing! My last company only blew debris off my lawn and left. LandTeck -- under the supervision of Charlie -- came out and professionally repaired my entire sprinkler system, replaced the sprinklers, corrected overspray, and stopped all water run‑off. They seeded and fertilized my lawn, set my watering schedule correctly, and made sure everything was done right. They always responded quickly to my questions, and Charlie even came back out to double‑check the watering and make sure my lawn was growing. If you choose a different company, you're losing out. They send out a competent account manager to give you an estimate and when you accept their bid they send out a crew with NO English skills and no one to supervise them! After the job was completed I had questions about the job so I called them three times and left messages, so far I have not received a return call. Bu the way they sent an invoice immediately, without any follow up and continued to send follow up invoices after the invoice was paid. read more

Three professionals from LandTeck worked in our backyard for two days to replace the faulty irrigation. I complained to Carlos about my concerns of the of the job done and was told to make my complaint to the board with zero resolution and blamed my dogs. I had a few companies come out to review his work, and was told it was done incorrectly on many levels. . One star because staff seems knowledgeable - it's my only good observation of the company. I have negative confidence in their ability to communicate or schedule work. LandTeck failed communicating with me AND across their staff functions. Appointments made but staff late or, the appointments were made / changed without coordinating with me. I wanted a new cement patio, courtyard wall, irrigation system and all new plants. A preliminary design developed & reviewed with Fernando but updates not provided to me or handed off to other staff before he went on a multi-week vacation. 'New' design initiated with Brian but he never provided revised design. To top it off, Carlos, the owner couldn't be bothered to return my phone call when I tried to straighten things out & move things forward. AVOID them for landscape design and maintenance. I Had LandTeck do some irrigation repairs a few months back. After getting a few different quotes, I went with these guys. Work was done efficiently, cleaned up well, walked me through everything that was done and explained how they set up the different sections of the property to which controller. We recently purchased a home with an ancient sprinkler system. I contacted Carlos to get an assessment of what needed to be done. He was able to come to the house quickly, looked over the situation, and as suspected we needed to replace the entire sprinkler system. The work was able to be scheduled within a few days. The team arrived as scheduled, worked very hard, and completed all of the work within two days. The price seemed quite reasonable. We were very happy with the work. Two weeks later I had an arborist out to look at a tree. He felt the tree should be watered in a very specific way. What a disappointment this company turned out to be. At first they really did a good job, but the last 6 months they have gone down hill. I had them come every other month for service. The last time they either didn't show up or just don't care. See pictures and judge for yourself if they actually cleaned up or pulled any of the weeds. I called to cancel their service (really lack of) was asked why, and I explained my reasoning. There was no apology, no offer todo what was promised, just an OK. We will update our system and cancel the service. Also had clipped irrigation hoses, and broken landscape lights. Go with anybody but them! read more
